This trip to Langkawi, I stayed at two hotels. The first night was at Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, where I was assigned a room at the very end of the hallway and encountered all sorts of issues. It wasn't as good value for money as the Marina hotel. At Marina, I chose a room with a sea view, while at Pelangi, I could only see a utility pole (haha). Minor issues at Marina were: the hairdryer had to be picked up from the front desk and could only be used for 2 hours; the air conditioning wasn't very effective; and the towels were quite old. I'm not sure if it was a Ctrip issue, but I was again placed in the corner room on this floor… Luckily, I could still see the sea. It was advertised as 21 square meters, but it felt larger than the 25 square meter room I had in Kuala Lumpur. Luggage storage is available next to the check-in counter; there's a door, you just open it yourself and call someone. Breakfast was just okay. Also, according to Xiaohongshu, the pool has been repaired, so guests might want to check it out.

The hotel is very nice. Despite the fact that the hotel is old, and, for example, in our room type, the shower and toilet were separate, and the washbasin was in the common room area, all other things compensate for it. The hotel is clean. The location is good, 7-10 minutes by car to the central beach, you can use the Grab app or use the free shuttle bus that runs 2 times a day between the hotel and Cenang Mall, which is located in the area of the central public beach. The hotel also has friendly staff. In addition, it is convenient that you can buy all sightseeing tours right at the hotel. What we liked the most was the very tasty and varied breakfasts, as well as the infinity pool, which is open until midnight. We recommend👍🏻

We booked for the king deluxe room. There were no updates coming from the hotel but when i called to ask for a decoration for my room, only then i knew that the room i asked for was already full. However, out of courtesy, they gave us a free upgrade room. The aircond was broken upon arrival and we told the staff and they fixed it as soon as possible. Overall it was a good stay. I would definitely repeat regardless of the issues.

This is an amazing hotel for its price range! We had a 2-bedroom bungalow with a private pool, though we ended up using the main pool instead. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were good.
It's a quiet place; you can't hear any road noise.
The beach is a 5-7 minute walk away.
There are many cafes nearby; we really liked Pirate Cafe and went there several times. There are also shops. However, we couldn't find a currency exchange and had to go to Cenang for that.
Breakfast was a bit sparse (though typical for a 3-star), but you won't leave hungry.
The staff were friendly and tried their best to help with everything.
I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys boutique hotels or guesthouses.

I’d rate this hotel 4 out of 5 overall. The room wasn’t perfectly clean, but it was good for the price. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great. Check-in and especially check-out were a bit annoying due to the wait. The waterpark is excellent and the kids absolutely loved it. The restaurant was good, with reasonably priced food and a great sunset view. Breakfast was the weakest point, with limited options like eggs, bread, and noodles.

It’s quite a value deal for this resort. I am quite happy with it except for the lighting at the room doorstep need to improve as it which was very dimmed at night and dangerous. I have to use torchlight to open the door. Thanks

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. For those who love nature in all its forms, it's a fairy tale. Beyond the hotel fence is a jungle with all the sounds and chirping that entails. Monkeys jump on the roofs, and you can't leave anything on the veranda, so be careful. The grounds are green, everything is blooming and fragrant, fish swim in the numerous springs, birds sing—in short, it's beautiful. The linens are clean, the bathroom is quite adequate. I had a room on the ground floor with a hairdryer, which was sufficient in September; I didn't need air conditioning; I don't know what the weather is like in other months. The city center (Chenang Beach, Underwater World, Duty Free) is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute taxi ride away.

The family room was spacious, and the air conditioning worked great. Housekeeping cleaned daily and replenished our water. The hotel has a beautiful environment, with tropical flowers, fruit trees, and other plants everywhere. We saw small animals like squirrels, monkeys, birds, and geck moving around. The hotel also has several swimming pools and a private beach. During the Chinese New Year, we even received a New Year's card and fruit. Overall, we were very satisfied.
Second visit to this resort within 3 months times, love the hotel and environment, because away from city, nature air, located on the hill side. Sometimes you may find monkey around. Simple authentic Malaysian breakfast. Love to be soak into swimming pool. There is partial have sun, if you ant to stay away from sun there is shade. You can simply order beverage or sandwich by the pool. This time our room is twin room, my friend said the bed to TOO soft for her. Isn't that great. Probably will come back in the future. Lets see .

We stayed at this property for two nights with my friend's families and four children. Because we had to book separate rooms in a hurry, we didn’t have high expectations and thought the kids might get tired going back and forth between rooms during the trip.
However, thanks to the hotel’s thoughtful suggestion, we were upgraded to a suite. We were truly impressed by how attentive the staff were in recognizing that we were traveling together as one group!
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Manager Asim for creating such an unforgettable memory for our children ☺️
Although the hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the main tourist attractions, we really enjoyed the many wonderful restaurants within walking distance.
Next time, we would love to visit Langkawi again with our parents and enjoy another family trip here ❣️

YYuanhuaruixiangRebak Island Resort & Marina, the sole hotel on Langkawi's Rebak Island, offered me an unforgettable vacation. If you're seeking a truly secluded sanctuary to connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle, I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
The island's environment is simply breathtaking! Surrounded by refreshing scenery, there are plenty of trails to explore on foot. What surprised me most was the excellent ecological preservation here. The hotel even offers a guided one-hour nature walk every Sunday at 8:30 AM. Through this, I learned about many unique Malaysian flora and fauna – it was a truly valuable learning experience!
Beyond hiking, we could also cycle. The bay where the hotel is situated is also a significant stop for global sailing, adding a special maritime flair to the entire resort.
What truly warmed my heart during this trip was the hotel's service. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and I sincerely thank them for that! Our package included dinner, and breakfast was a standard buffet with a wide variety of choices. The dinner menu also offered excellent selection, and both the taste and service left us very satisfied.
Even better, despite being on a private island, transportation to and from the mainland was absolutely no issue. There are several complimentary shuttle boat services daily, making it very convenient.
Of course, even in a perfect experience, there were some things to get used to.
1. **Soundproofing in wooden villas:** The hotel rooms are older-style wooden villas, usually two stories. If you stay on the ground floor, you will indeed hear the footsteps of guests upstairs quite clearly.
2. **Monkey neighbors:** Because the island's ecosystem is so thriving, we had quite a few monkey neighbors! Everyone needs to be extra careful and remember not to leave your room door open, otherwise, they might come in and ”steal” your food.
**Summary:**
Putting aside the soundproofing of the older villas and the ”mischief” of the little monkeys, Rebak Island Resort & Marina earned my highest praise for its unparalleled natural environment, rich ecological activities, and thoughtful, attentive service. It was a soulful journey back to nature!
GGuest UserI wish we stayed a few extra days at the Berjaya. It’s really an enchanting experience to live in a wooden cabin in the forest. The staff is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate guests needs. It’s convenient, beautiful, and super relaxing. I will strongly recommend the Thai restaurant on the water - try to reserve a spot for sunset! The restaurant on the beach also have delicious meals, but unfortunately, the service at that one is very poor. I can happily recommend this resort for families and couples!
MMekChuI booked a garden-view room for three for my parents and myself. We had a very pleasant stay at Ombak Villa, thanks to the comfortable and spacious room, clean bathroom, and excellent service from the staff. The hotel’s location is ideal, as it is close to the airport and major attractions in Langkawi, and also conveniently surrounded by good local restaurants.
GGuest UserThis is my second time and never fail me. Enjoyed the lovely breakfast spread had a good chill time at the beach . Always recommending friends over

GGuest UserDuring Chinese New Year, Langkawi was packed, and to my surprise, all the hotels on Cenang Beach were fully booked for my desired dates. So, I decided to stay in Kuah Town instead. At least the food there is good, and indeed, none of the restaurants around the hotel disappointed. Now, about this hotel itself: honestly, aside from the pool, everything else was quite a letdown. The towels were black and tattered. The room was quite spacious and even had a balcony, but despite booking a sea-view room, I was given one facing greenery. There were so many mosquitoes – I killed four or five throughout the night. The air conditioning was old and so noisy it made it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was, as always, unappetizing, probably more suited for locals and Indians. On the bright side, the duty-free shop is right across the street, and there are several convenience stores nearby, making it easy to get around.
NNazhazGreat hotel. I loved our stay at the Westin resort.
Clean well maintained rooms and facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good selection of food and drinks. The only thing I didn’t love about the resort was swimming in the beach I didn’t like the muddy wet squishy sand underneath my feet however the sunset was beautiful to watch and walking along the beach or just relaxing and enjoying the view felt so beautiful and peaceful. the swimming pools I think they had 3 were pretty nice too.
We walked to nearby shops and eagle square and I’m by no means a fit person but I managed to walk around the town it was beautiful ,quite serene location. Ohh I forgot to mention the thieving monkeys hanging around we watched them come in snatch some fruit and flowers from the bar area, cute little monkeys.
LLeslie933The hotel is well-maintained, and the breakfast is consistently good! The fishing trip was a lot of fun, caught plenty of fish. However, I'd recommend booking the mangrove tour elsewhere (the hotel's mangrove tour didn't feature any bats). The beach is very clean, but there aren't many small creatures (like hermit crabs...). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Choosing this hotel for our anniversary was definitely the right decision. All in all, it truly is one of Langkawi's top hotels.
