Beach Hotels in Western Visayas, Philippines

The experience from this hotel Fairways & Bluewater exceeds my expectation in fact one of the best hotel / resort in my entire travel by far. We were so delighted by the amenities of the hotel - there were 9 pools from different location of the resort with the infinity pool and the pool party which has limited schedule only. The hotel is situated inside a peaceful area. They have private beachfront that has access to the Key hole cave. Clear kayak for photo ops definitely a must try. The breakfast was truly a plus factor with a wife spread of selection. There is a 24hours shuttle inside the resort that will get in you within the vicinity and out of the main gate if you want to go out for night life or just to buy supplies or food at Citymall which was just accross the main gate of Fairways. Lastly, I wiould like to recommend all of their staff who were very helpful, polite, courteous and will definitely cheer you up because they were so warm and super helpful and friendly. This is now my go-to hotel whenever I have plans of going to Boracay! Thank you Fairways & Bluewaters I'm so in love with ypur place!!! 🥰😊❤️💯❤️🥰

My friends had a wonderful 3-day, 2-night stay at Boracay Ocean Club Beach Resort. They loved the beachfront location, the relaxing pool, and the delicious breakfast with a good variety of options. The rooftop pool was an added bonus, offering a great place to unwind and enjoy the views. They also shared that the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout their stay. Overall, they had a great experience and would gladly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Boracay.

Excellent 5-star hotel, Filipino style. It's very authentic and charming, with access to two neighboring luxury hotels. The staff are incredibly hardworking. They aren't experts at making cocktails, but if you explain what you want, they'll make it as requested. The spirits are good, and so are the bottled wines. There are many different romantic setups and similar options on the beach. The private beach is very clean, and the scenery and sea are magical. Breakfast is quite good, but otherwise, like everywhere else on this island, they don't seem to know how to cook. We tried eating at the Shangri-La and the hotel next door, and everywhere it felt like the chef wouldn't even eat their own food; I won't even bother describing it, everything was off. You really need to find a place with good food right away, otherwise you risk eating only bread rolls! 😁 But the coffee is very good there, and you can take it to go from breakfast. The staff are very friendly. As for cons, there's no late check-out. We were offered a maximum check-out at 2 PM for an extra charge, and after that, only booking for a full day was an option.

We always love our stay in any Henann Hotel. But here in Henann Lagoon Boracay, they gave us a free upgrade in our room. The room is a bit dark even with the lights, tho it gives a cozy vibe. The breakfast buffet is also great! I just wish they serve bacon (HAHA!) They are also very much accommodating when we wanted to switch rooms since the first room that was given to us is a bit far. We didn't have to go down the reception because they sent someone to help us transfer to the other room. Will definitely comeback here at Henann Lagoon. 

Our whole stay was great overall — we really enjoyed our time here! Check-in was a bit delayed at first because they hadn’t yet prepared the complimentary cake and birthday setup they promised, but it wasn’t a big issue at all. The lobby is lovely, smells fresh and clean, and we were served welcome drinks right away while we waited. The staff were generally polite and helpful too. I did witness one incident though: another guest was having a long discussion about not getting back their security deposit for their second room. It took a while, and the guest even asked to speak with a manager, but in the end it was sorted out and it turned out the guest was right all along. I’m just thankful nothing like that happened to us during our stay. Location-wise, it’s right on the beachfront — perfect! Our room was a bit of a walk from the shore, but honestly, we didn’t mind it at all. It gave us a chance to move around, get some steps in, or walk off our meals before heading back 😂 The room itself was very spacious and smelled nice, but we did encounter quite a number of mosquitoes and fleas — I ended up with a lot of bites! Thankfully I didn’t get sick or contract dengue, but I hope they can improve pest control, especially since the rooms are surrounded by greenery and a forest-like setting. The shower was also a little tricky to adjust the temperature and pressure, but manageable. What I really appreciated was their service: they constantly refilled our drinking water and even replenished all toiletries and supplies regularly, even if we hadn’t finished using them yet — not many hotels do that! They also provided free slippers when we asked, and having umbrellas available in the room for us to use anywhere was such a lifesaver, especially since it was rainy season and my husband forgot ours back in Manila. ☔ The breakfast buffet was another highlight — the selection changed every day, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My husband and I truly looked forward to it each morning. Overall, our whole stay was wonderful. We will definitely book here again when we return to Boracay — just next time, I’ll make sure to bring plenty of insect repellent and lotion! 😂

This is a very strategic hotel spot. It was my first time checking in here. I was assigned at the attic part of the hotel and it was quite small than I anticipated. The shower drain was quite clogged as the floor floods when used for longer shower. There was also a mechanical noise when I could not figure out where it was coming from. The noise was quite bearable but it was there. For guests who may be sensitive to it, might consider this a no no. The separation between rooms were also quite shallow. You could hear guests talking from the next room. Overall, it was a good experience. The location is a huge plus as the shoreline is just in front of the hotel with a cafe in between.

Title: Fantastic hotel, but pick your season wisely! Our stay at Mandarin Island Hotel was exceptional from the moment we arrived until the day we (reluctantly) left. The welcome was incredible—we were greeted with a traditional dance and refreshing drinks, which set the tone for a fantastic stay. The staff were consistently polite and provided great service throughout. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, and the location is perfect, right on the beautiful white sand beach. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options to start the day. Unfortunately, we were hit with a stretch of horrible weather during our visit, which meant we couldn't enjoy Boracay to its fullest. We actually decided to check out early because of the rain. This is no reflection on the hotel—it was perfect—but a strong tip for future travelers: choose your travel dates carefully. The island is a paradise when the sun is out, but the weather can make or break the trip. We loved the staff , especially at Don Vita restaurant for both breakfast and dinner .Alwaya friendly and polite . The in house entertainment was fantastic especially in the stormy weather when we couldn’t go out in the evening . We also hired the in service hotel transportation to transfer from airport to the island —— it was incredible, efficient smooth I’d give it five stars , on the morning we were leaving quite early they even packed us a breakfast to go !!! I would definitely return!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to La Bella Casa for their amazing customer service! 🤍 We truly felt taken care of throughout our entire stay. Their front desk staff greeted us so cheerfully and even allowed us to leave our baggage since we arrived earlier than check-in time. To our surprise, they also upgraded our room from a budget room with a shared bathroom to a standard room with a private bathroom—for FREE! 🥹✨ As a first-timer in Boracay who was also celebrating my birthday, this thoughtful gesture made the whole experience even more unforgettable. We also asked if we could store our takeout food in their fridge, and they kindly granted our request. They even helped us heat our food the next morning for breakfast. 🥰 The location is another plus! It’s within walking distance of White Beach, specifically near Willy’s Rock, and also conveniently close to a HOHO bus stop, making it easy to get around Boracay. Overall, we’re so grateful for the warm hospitality and excellent service. Thank you, La Bella Casa, for making our Boracay stay extra special! 💕🌴

We loved our 5-night stay at Henann Garden Resort. The room was clean, the amenities were great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the Grand Room with a bathtub, which we really enjoyed. The resort has four swimming pools, and we had fun swimming from one pool to another.We also had a whole-body massage in our room at an affordable price, which made the stay even more relaxing. Breakfast was ok and the choices for Muslim guests were quite limited. There was also a fire show every night, which added to the holiday atmosphere. The resort has very easy access to the beachfront, including beach lounge chairs facing the sea. It is only a few minutes’ walk to D’Mall, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and laundry services nearby. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay and would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at NIG niGI . The location right on the beach is absolutely perfect—just a few steps from the lobby and our feet were in the sand. The beach area was clean, well-maintained, and never felt overcrowded, which made for a very relaxing break. As a family/solo traveler, I really appreciated the sense of security here. We felt completely comfortable leaving our belongings on the loungers while swimming, and the property overall felt very well-monitored and safe at all hours. Everything about the stay was hassle-free. The hotel is a quick drive from the airport/main attractions, and there’s a convenience store just a short walk away for any last-minute snacks or toiletries. Check-in was smooth, and the valet/concierge team was very helpful with local recommendations. If you're looking for a place where you can truly unwind without worrying about logistics or safety, this is it. We will definitely be returning for another beach getaway.
