Our Sanya trip was absolutely perfect! I have to give a special shout-out to Manager Van at the front desk for his exceptional service. Not only did we pick the right hotel for our family trip to Sanya, but we also received incredibly heartwarming service, which I simply must rave about! We arrived in Sanya on an early flight, prepared to wait until the afternoon for check-in. We had already contacted the hotel beforehand, explaining that we were traveling with seniors and children and hoping for an earlier check-in if possible. Manager Van kept an eye out for clean, vacated rooms for us the day before, and we were checked in within just 10 minutes of arriving – so thoughtful! During our stay, Manager Van quickly and effectively handled all our needs, big and small. We wanted to try local seafood but were worried about tourist traps, so Manager Van recommended a local eatery frequented by residents. The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable – much better value than the popular influencer-recommended spots. My child forgot their sand toys, and Manager Van promptly brought over a brand new set of shovels and buckets, which kept my little one happy all afternoon. The level of service was just right – not overly enthusiastic to the point of being awkward, yet always responsive the moment we needed something. Professional and warm, it's truly rare to find such meticulously attentive service. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sanya, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and Manager Van's amazing service to anyone planning a trip to Sanya. Choosing this place ensures you won't be disappointed!

I stayed for 5 days and barely left the room. It's a resort-style room, so there's no desk or chair for work. I ended up spending most of my time studying in the executive lounge, which also conveniently covered all three of my daily meals. The breakfast in the lounge had fewer options than the main restaurant downstairs, but I don't eat much anyway. Plus, the lounge was much quieter and less crowded. Specifically, the 10th-floor breakfast offered freshly squeezed orange juice and made-to-order Eggs Benedict, which weren't available in the main restaurant. Over the five days, the afternoon tea and dinner selections were never repeated, and they provided a good amount of food. Each dinner included two meat dishes, one vegetable dish, a staple, and two soups, along with salad, fruit, and small cakes. When a dish ran out, a new one would be brought out. However, the beverage selection was a bit limited: soda water, ginger ale, Coke, Sprite, one sparkling wine, and a few other spirits you could mix yourself to make cocktails. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. The hotel's location is great. From my room, 1018, I had a view of the bridge to the left from the balcony, and the West Coast in the distance to the right. Jenny, the manager, was also very helpful and accessible via WeChat at any time. Upon check-in, I received two drink vouchers for freshly brewed coffee at the lobby bar downstairs, which was also a comfortable place to sit.

The room facilities were decent, I quite liked them. It's very close to the airport and the outlets, which is convenient. However, there's not much to browse at the outlets.
The service was terrible!!! I stayed here for the convenience of catching a flight. I was supposed to be able to check-in and check my luggage directly at the hotel. I even specifically asked about this when I checked in, but the staff couldn't give me clear information. They didn't tell me that you have to check in from the hotel three hours in advance!!!!! As a result, I couldn't check in at the hotel and still had to go to the airport. And the staff had absolutely no attitude about it, it was truly frustrating.

The Langham Haikou is a high-end, British-inspired hotel perfectly situated on Binhai Avenue, in the heart of the city. It's right next to MixC shopping mall and within walking distance of Wanlv Park, making it incredibly convenient for both getting around and shopping.
The hotel boasts a stunning 43rd-floor sky lobby with breathtaking views overlooking Century Bridge and the Qiongzhou Strait. The rooms are spacious and elegant, featuring panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that offer abundant natural light. The marble bathrooms are equipped with Langham's signature 'Chuan' amenities, and the bedding is exceptionally comfortable. Plus, the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay.
A highlight is the gorgeous outdoor infinity pool on the 6th floor – it's rarely crowded and perfect for snapping some Instagram-worthy photos. For dining, T'ang Court offers authentic Cantonese cuisine, while Palm Court's English afternoon tea is a truly ceremonial experience.
The service is thoughtful and attentive. Turn-down service even includes ginger tea and a handwritten card, a warm touch that shows great attention to detail. Overall, the hotel perfectly blends business convenience with a vacation feel, making it a top choice for luxury accommodation in Haikou.

Returning guest, plus one! The hotel's location is superb, with breathtaking sea views directly from the lobby. The room decor is stylish and perfectly clean. While the hallways felt a bit damp from the sea air, the air in the room was fresh and perfectly fine. I personally feel that Tianya Town is ideal for a slow-paced stay, where you can pick a hotel and just relax by the sea. That's exactly what we did for a whole day, and we didn't want to leave! We'll definitely be back next time! 👋

Facilities: In the second room, the bedside lamp flickered as if it wasn't getting enough power. The fan in the first room was noisy.
Hygiene: The first room had a lot of ants, so we couldn't leave any sweet food open.
Environment: The view outside the window was absolutely stunning, arguably the best sea view I've ever seen from a room in Sanya.
Service: Butler Annie's service attitude was excellent, and she was very efficient. She promptly handled our requests regarding facilities and changing rooms.
Dining: We had one of the worst dinners ever. Apart from the sea view, both the food and the environment were disappointing. The steak and pizza were all dry and tough, and there were many mosquitoes around the BBQ. It was a very tiring meal; we only ate a few bites and left. It definitely wasn't worth the 288 price tag.
Jason at the hotel welcomed us warmly, the service was excellent, the room was spacious and bright, and having a washing machine was really convenient. The location was great too - there's a snack street right around the corner.
The only downside ist the construction next to the hotel, which can get quite loud. i would recommend booking a room with Pool View, to avoid the noise.
Highly recommend the breakfast as well, it is located in the Bellview Hotel and the variety is amazing. Lots of dishes and fresh fruit.

🥰 Our stay was absolutely wonderful, and a special thank you goes to our butler, Jill, for her incredibly thoughtful and meticulous service throughout. She was attentive, responded quickly, and her service was both professional and warm, taking care of every little detail perfectly. Our experience was fantastic, and I've happily given a full 5-star rating! ❤️ I truly appreciate your service quality and will definitely choose to stay here again in the future. Wishing you all the best in your work! 🙏

This luxury resort offers a flawless experience. The overall ambiance is incredibly upscale and sophisticated, truly setting the mood. The lobby is grand and majestic, with exquisite and refined decor that exudes quality and style at every turn. Guest rooms boast expansive views and excellent natural light, featuring elegant and comfortable furnishings. The bathroom amenities are top-notch, with meticulous attention to detail throughout. The hotel offers a wide array of entertainment options, including a water park and an aquarium, providing a one-stop shop for dining, entertainment, and relaxation. The staff are warm, polite, and incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The underwater scenery is breathtaking and incredibly therapeutic, offering a truly immersive and healing experience. The front desk, housekeeping, and dining services are all professional, attentive, responsive, and incredibly meticulous. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, with diverse flavors suitable for all ages. My entire stay was comfortable and pleasant, making my trip incredibly happy and fulfilling. It definitely deserves a five-star rating!

My stay was initially quite pleasant. The front-line staff were consistently warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout. When a small issue arose with our travel photos, the hotel promptly communicated and resolved it, which I appreciated. I thought I was going to have a wonderful experience, but it was completely ruined by one utterly unprofessional staff member, plummeting my satisfaction!
While riding the shuttle bus, we politely asked the shuttle driver about the hotel's attractions and photo spots. The driver was halfway through explaining when another person nearby suddenly interjected and answered for him! Her attitude was extremely rude, cold, and dismissive. She was sarcastic the entire time, even accusing us of not speaking clearly. We were just asking basic, straightforward questions about attractions, and I truly don't understand how we could have possibly expressed ourselves more 'clearly'. When we politely asked about photo spots, she flat-out said there weren't any, and was incredibly impatient. Yet, later we saw clear signs for photo spots all over the hotel. We got zero useful information, only a belly full of frustration and anger!
Afterward, the hotel told us this person was a 'secondary employee' and wasn't on duty, which is why she wasn't wearing an ID badge. I completely reject this flimsy explanation! Why was she wearing a uniform, riding a guest shuttle, and casually interjecting to address guests if she wasn't on duty? It's one thing to be unfamiliar with hotel operations and lack service awareness, but she didn't even have basic human decency. She seemed to be working with a chip on her shoulder, acting condescendingly, as if we, the guests, were accommodating her bad mood!
In stark contrast, all the other shuttle drivers were kind, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, creating an incredibly jarring difference! The hotel's reputation, carefully built by its front-line staff, was completely destroyed by this 'secondary employee' who showed no rules, no professionalism, and no respect. The hotel merely offered a casual explanation of her identity without any indication of intending to improve. Such tolerance for employee misconduct is truly disheartening. I will never recommend this hotel, nor will I ever stay here again!

GGuest UserStaying in a Banyan Tree Sanya Ocean View Villa was an absolutely incredible experience! The 360-square-meter villa was spacious and comfortable, with its red tiled roofs and white walls blending Eastern charm with tropical flair. The private pool, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, offered glimpses of the shimmering ocean through the greenery – truly serene and relaxing. The butler service was exceptionally attentive, from the welcome drinks to the turndown gifts, every detail was perfect. I highly recommend the Banyan Tree SPA; the therapists were professional, and the tropical oriental treatment, combining scrubs and massages, melted all my fatigue away. The sunset ritual at the Sea Breeze Bar was romantic, and the Hainanese noodles at Ming Yue restaurant were surprisingly delicious. The privacy here is outstanding, making it a true hidden gem for an island getaway!

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very clean, and the room service was excellent and thoughtful. My child absolutely loved playing in the water, and all the facilities were communal, which made for a great experience. The complimentary photoshoot was fantastic! The photographer knew all the best spots in the hotel and even fulfilled my child's wish to take photos at the golf driving range. My child wanted every single photo when we were selecting them!

LLaoshiMy stay at the Grand Metropark in April was a true revelation. Yalong Bay itself is an amazing place, but the hotel turned our trip into a real fairy tale. The grounds are huge and very well maintained, immersed in the greenery of tropical gardens – a true oasis for body and soul. By the way, even though the beach is a bit away, it turned out to be a plus: the beach was always uncrowded, clean, and this private little paradise felt like it belonged only to us (and the shuttle runs every half hour, so it’s no trouble at all).
I love to go for morning runs, and the conditions here were absolutely perfect! In the morning, when the air is still fresh, it's especially pleasant to run along the paths that wind through all that lush greenery. The light tropical mist and the birdsong give you energy for the whole day. And imagine our surprise when, during one of those runs, we ran into the hotel's general manager himself, Mr. Chen Dexiong, who was also out for his morning run! That kind of moment is priceless – you immediately feel that there's a special atmosphere of care and attention to every guest.
The food here deserves a song of its own. Breakfasts and dinners were magnificent: a huge selection of dishes, from your usual scrambled eggs to the freshest seafood and the delights of Asian cuisine, which could be prepared right in front of you or in special hot pots. All the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and the villa cleaning was impeccable.
In short, Grand Metropark is not just a hotel – it's a place you want to return to again and again. For me, it was the best investment in my own rest and recovery.
I would be very happy if my review proves useful. Happy travels to you all!
GGuest UserThis was my first time booking a hotel through Trip.com, and with a butler service, the experience was fantastic!
The butler was incredibly attentive and really went above and beyond. I'll definitely choose St. Regis again next time I'm in Sanya!
**Here are the pros:**
* **Effortless Photo Ops:** The public areas are gorgeous. The pool, coconut groves, and the hotel's interior all scream 'old money' chic. Even on a cloudy day, you can capture beautiful layered ocean views 🌊.
* **Extremely Kid-Friendly:** It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, and the restaurants and playgrounds are clearly marked, making it easy to find your way around. Perfect for families with young babies and seniors.
* **Butler Service with Quick Responses:**
* Complimentary upgrade to a room with a better view.
* Arranged an extra breakfast for one person since there were 3 adults and 1 child.
* Most importantly! On the first day of arrival, my daughter had some indigestion. I asked the butler for some apple hawthorn water, and the butler did their best to arrange sliced apples and millet porridge for us.
**Minor improvements could make it even better:**
* **Check-in was incredibly slow:** We arrived at 3 AM, and even though we were the only ones checking in, it still took 15 minutes.
* **Kids' club is small.**
* **Breakfast variety is limited:** The restaurant isn't large, so during peak season, there might be a queue, which could halve the experience. Although the variety is limited, the *zaocao fen* (a local noodle dish) was delicious! I had three bowls! It had a lot of seafood and fresh shrimp! The desserts were far too sweet and need improvement! The cold dishes were also pretty mediocre, tasting a bit too pre-made!
* **Baby cutlery at breakfast wasn't very clean.**
* **No complimentary laundry room.**
**Summary:**
* **📷 Despite the bad weather during our trip, the ocean in Yalong Bay was still beautiful.** Even on a cloudy day, it had layered colors. Getting up early to take photos during breaks in the rain was still possible.
* **🚼 Suitable for babies under 2 years old.** The downside is that there aren't many parent-child activities, and the kids' club is small with basic facilities. Kids over 10 might find it boring, but it was just right for our little one.
* **☕️ A bonus for this stay was the coffee station at breakfast.** I asked a staff member for a latte art coffee, and they found a Nepalese barista who made a very professional one.
Initially, I had booked the JW Marriott, but for some reason, I switched to St. Regis. St. Regis was much more expensive, but I thought to myself, 'you get what you pay for.' I didn't expect this stay to exceed my expectations so much. Passing staff members would greet you! Even with the rainy weather, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. You feel like every request is attended to; the good experience is truly in the details!
FFuwubuhaohuidarenganen## Environment:
The environment is excellent, I'd give it 4.5 stars. The road leading to the hotel from outside is also very beautiful, and the surroundings are quite convenient. The greenery is good, as are the architecture and maintenance. It's very photogenic with many spots to take pictures. There are also small ponds with lotus and water lilies, so if you love flowers, this season is perfect.
## Service:
The staff are all very enthusiastic. We mixed up the breakfast time in the morning and arrived late, but they still waited for us to eat. They provided welcome fruits, five different kinds, which was very nice 👍. They also offered a late check-out proactively. Basically, the hotel tries its best to meet customer needs, which is quite thoughtful. A great experience.
## Room:
We booked a standard room, and they upgraded us to a Thai-style villa with a pool, which was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The bedding was good too; there was a slight noise, but I still slept very comfortably 😌.
## Breakfast:
The variety isn't huge, it's quite simple, but they do have local specialties like pandan coconut buns, which are worth trying – just a little sweet 🤤.
## Influencer Paddleboarding & Floating Mat Fun:
This was a lot of fun. Even if you can't swim, you can try it with the help of a companion. There are lifeguards, so it's quite safe, and there are deep water areas too. My boyfriend was laughing like a ** (idiom for having a great time), it was incredibly entertaining.
## Travel Photography:
The travel photography itself was mediocre, but the shooting locations were good 👍. You can bargain, remember to bargain!
To 'punish' myself for not reviewing sooner, I'll definitely book this place again next time.
WWangyouᵈᵉcaoOur Sanya vacation at the Wanda Reign Haitang Bay was an absolutely fantastic experience, truly deserving of a five-star rating! The hotel features an all-villa design with stunning grounds, lush tropical plants, and excellent privacy – it's so quiet and comfortable. We stayed in a spacious pool villa; the courtyard and private pool were incredibly relaxing. Lying by the pool and enjoying the sea breeze every day was incredibly therapeutic.
The service was exceptionally thoughtful. Our butler was always available when called, and proactively reminded us about activities and reservations, making the entire stay effortless. The shuttle service was also on-demand, making it easy to get to the beach or public areas. The private beach was clean and uncrowded, with fine sand, and the sunsets in the evening were absolutely beautiful. The public areas were also great!
The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with both Chinese and Western options. The Hainan noodles, freshly ground coffee, and fresh fruit were all top-notch, and it was served until 12 PM, so no worries about missing it even if you slept in. The location is also convenient, not far from the duty-free mall, making it easy to return after a shopping trip.
GGuest UserFacilities: Upon check-in, I noticed the bed was wobbly and noisy. They sent maintenance to fix it, and while it's still not perfectly stable, at least I can sleep on it. The overall style reminds me of my childhood, with the bed having four legs and the cabinet doors creaking when opened.
Environment: The hotel doesn't have many photo spots or facilities. The entrance is hard to find; it took me two days to figure out my way back to my room after staying one night. I don't know who designed this hotel, but the 3rd floor of the lobby building connects to the 4th floor of the accommodation building. If you want to go to the 4th floor across the way, you have to go up and then down again in the afternoon to get there.
Pros:
✔ You can bring food to heat up at the 4th-floor restaurant in the lobby building. I initially thought Wuzhizhou Island wouldn't have many food options, so luckily I packed some dishes. The hotel's own food options don't seem to offer good value for money.
✔ The butler service was patient and attentive, always responding to my questions. They sent a very useful guide in advance.
Cons:
✖ Bring extra water if you can. They only provide two complimentary bottles, and additional ones cost 5 yuan each.
✖ The hand soap had an unpleasant, rancid smell, as if it had been sitting for too long.
Service: Aside from the butler, the service from other staff was quite poor. After checking in, we were told someone would take our luggage to the room. There were several staff members chatting nearby, but no one came. It wasn't until we started to leave on our own that someone came to 'guide' us. Even the hotel's shuttle service, when there were few people, had no staff present. They were probably all off chatting somewhere.
GGuest UserI'm quite satisfied with my stay. I booked my flight and hotel on the day of the Qingming Festival. I'd actually been looking at hotels for days, and on the booking day, this was the most suitable option when searching for queen-size sea view rooms under a thousand yuan. Xiaodonghai is very private overall; I later visited Dadonghai and found it too flashy. The hotel's public areas aren't large, but for a young person traveling alone, it was perfectly sufficient and convenient. The pool offers views of the mountains, sea, coconut trees, and green lawns. I was pretty much the only one swimming, which was a really awesome experience! You can even glimpse the sea from the bathtub in the room, and the showerhead had excellent water pressure, which I really liked. I hope to come back to Sanya during the peak season on a sunny day next time.
GGuest UserThe room was large, clean, and private. The service was fantastic. I had a lot of questions, and they were all answered. There was a dedicated butler. A sightseeing shuttle was available for transportation to the room, and it was easy to get one during off-peak hours. The breakfast noodles were especially delicious. The service at this hotel is truly excellent! The bathroom was a pleasure to use even when washing up in the morning.
