Choosing this hotel for my Sanya trip was such a smart decision! The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the sea, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with excellent natural light and views. From my sea-view room, opening the window revealed nothing but the clear blue sea and sky – the sea breeze was wonderfully refreshing. The hotel's environment is elegant and tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a great atmosphere. The pool was clean and comfortable too. The staff were warm, polite, and provided thoughtful, attentive service, making for an excellent stay. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. Overall, the value for money is superb. It's my top choice for a relaxing getaway, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sanya. Highly recommend!

The Intercontinental Haikou Huacai is quite suitable for a vacation. Grandpa Dai Defu from the concierge's 'Expert Experience Hall' is super nice and provides excellent service. Both the kids and seniors had a great time. The hotel also offers a complimentary 'Wild Deer Travel Photography' service, which is efficient, creates a great shooting atmosphere, and the service is prompt. Highly recommended! [Strong]

This is a decent, standard airport hotel, very close to the airport. They offer a shuttle bus every half hour, though you can actually walk to the terminal. There's also an outlet mall next door for shopping and dining. The facilities are relatively new and have all the necessary amenities. Most of the staff are dedicated and helpful, though a very small number had slightly poor attitudes, which I can understand if they were on a night shift. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff, who were very warm, hospitable, and went out of their way to help guests, even providing a charging cable to a guest next door, which wasn't even part of her job. There was a faint lingering smell of smoke in the room when I entered, but that's not the hotel's fault; it's due to a previous guest violating the no-smoking policy.

This time I stayed at Langting on a friend's recommendation. The hotel's decor has a very British feel to it, and I saw many young women taking photos there. The room was super comfortable, and the elevator was incredibly fast. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive. They not only introduced Qilou and the surrounding food and attractions but also provided a Haikou travel and food map. The swimming pool on the 6th floor is perfect for sunset photos. I'll definitely come back to experience it again next time I'm in Haikou!

Sanya Hotel Stay Notes | My First Five-Star Experience
I took a few casual photos of the hotel during my stay. Honestly, I was quite disappointed at first. It was my first time staying in a five-star hotel, and my expectations were really high, but the initial experience fell short. I'll just give an objective review of this particular hotel.
The price was 2599 for two nights, for a garden view room that also included executive lounge access. Before checking in, I was really looking forward to a dedicated butler reaching out, but I heard nothing. The front desk said they had called but couldn't reach me, and after I missed their call during a busy workday, there was no follow-up. After I specifically asked for a butler service, it took a full hour and a half after checking in to finally get in touch with one.
The hotel grounds are huge, and the internal routes are quite confusing. After check-in, no one showed me to my room, so I had to find my way around by myself. It took a long time to locate my room, and no staff member offered to help with my luggage. Seeing other guests being personally escorted and having their luggage carried made me feel that the value for money was significantly diminished and didn't match the price at all. The initial experience hit rock bottom.
Thankfully, after connecting with my dedicated butler, Annie, the overall experience improved dramatically. Her attentiveness was outstanding. She proactively asked about my needs, promptly replenished the missing welcome fruit in the room, and even helped coordinate with the front desk (special thanks to the front desk lady!) to smoothly upgrade me to a gorgeous sea view room for free, which doubled the stunning views.
Her daily attention to detail was also incredibly thoughtful. She helped me arrange a late checkout until 2 PM. When the welcome fruit wasn't delivered on time the next day, she thoughtfully compensated me with a dessert voucher, which was a lovely gesture. After I came back from a swim, she even specially brought me warm ginger tea – so many little details that were truly heartwarming.
I honestly feel that staying at this hotel is much better with a dedicated butler. With a butler, everything is hassle-free and comfortable; without one, you're pretty much fumbling in the dark, and the experience is chalk and cheese.
Now for a minor gripe: the laundry service being an extra charge was quite inconvenient. Clothes worn after swimming at the beach were extremely difficult to dry. Even after hanging them on the balcony, they were still damp and not dry after two full days. I really couldn't figure out the weather conditions here, and that aspect of the experience wasn't great.
Overall, to sum it up, the initial check-in process and service were disorganized and disappointing, but the thoughtful service from the butler later significantly turned my impression around. Putting aside the minor drawbacks, the overall stay was quite pleasant, and I'd say this stay experience was completed satisfactorily.
The environment is absolutely fantastic, with a breathtaking sea view right from the window. The hotel service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff were all very kind and polite. During my stay, they even surprised me with fresh fruit and specialty drinks, which was such a warm and lovely touch – they really pay attention to the details. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, making for an overall extremely comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful sea view!

I had such an amazing stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay. The location is honestly perfect — everything you need is right there. You can simply walk down to the beach, enjoy water activities, and explore so many restaurants nearby. It’s the kind of place where you never feel isolated because there’s always something happening around you.
One of the things I loved most is that the hotel is connected to the Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection. If you’re staying at JW Marriott, you can also enjoy their pools and facilities, which really adds to the whole experience.
The hotel itself has so much to offer, especially for families. There are daily kids’ activities, and my son was never bored — there was always something fun planned. The playground is huge and honestly looks futuristic, like something out of a movie. It’s such a dream space for children. They also have a beautiful swimming pool, which makes it even more enjoyable to spend your days there.
I also visited Casa Corona Beach Club, and it was such a vibe. The atmosphere, the food, and the whole setting made it a really memorable experience.
The spa was another highlight — so relaxing and exactly what you need when you’re trying to unwind and take care of yourself. On top of that, the service throughout the hotel was incredible. The staff really made everything feel smooth, welcoming, and special.
It’s honestly just a great place to be with your family. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a beautiful beachfront stay with lots of activities, especially if you’re traveling with kids. It truly has everything — location, experiences, and comfort.
When checking in, I was told that a late check-out would depend on availability the next morning. The dolphin show I had booked was scheduled for two days later. Upon entering the room, despite it being high up, there was a strong musty smell, and the bedding felt damp! When I reported this to customer service, the front desk just said there was nothing they could do. My expectations were really let down, and I just figured it was an issue with hotels in tourist areas, so I resigned myself to it. However, at that moment, the butler contacted me and asked if I needed any help. What I thought would just be a complaint turned into something much more – the butler not only upgraded our room but also helped us book tickets and perfectly anticipated our travel plans, advising us on the most convenient routes!
I will definitely come back again, not because of the room type or the hotel facilities, but because of the butler's amazing service. I was so happy, and they even gave us a gift when we left. Looking forward to seeing them next time! [Little Shark]

My stay was initially quite pleasant. The front-line staff were consistently warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout. When a small issue arose with our travel photos, the hotel promptly communicated and resolved it, which I appreciated. I thought I was going to have a wonderful experience, but it was completely ruined by one utterly unprofessional staff member, plummeting my satisfaction!
While riding the shuttle bus, we politely asked the shuttle driver about the hotel's attractions and photo spots. The driver was halfway through explaining when another person nearby suddenly interjected and answered for him! Her attitude was extremely rude, cold, and dismissive. She was sarcastic the entire time, even accusing us of not speaking clearly. We were just asking basic, straightforward questions about attractions, and I truly don't understand how we could have possibly expressed ourselves more 'clearly'. When we politely asked about photo spots, she flat-out said there weren't any, and was incredibly impatient. Yet, later we saw clear signs for photo spots all over the hotel. We got zero useful information, only a belly full of frustration and anger!
Afterward, the hotel told us this person was a 'secondary employee' and wasn't on duty, which is why she wasn't wearing an ID badge. I completely reject this flimsy explanation! Why was she wearing a uniform, riding a guest shuttle, and casually interjecting to address guests if she wasn't on duty? It's one thing to be unfamiliar with hotel operations and lack service awareness, but she didn't even have basic human decency. She seemed to be working with a chip on her shoulder, acting condescendingly, as if we, the guests, were accommodating her bad mood!
In stark contrast, all the other shuttle drivers were kind, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, creating an incredibly jarring difference! The hotel's reputation, carefully built by its front-line staff, was completely destroyed by this 'secondary employee' who showed no rules, no professionalism, and no respect. The hotel merely offered a casual explanation of her identity without any indication of intending to improve. Such tolerance for employee misconduct is truly disheartening. I will never recommend this hotel, nor will I ever stay here again!

GGuest UserStaying in a Banyan Tree Sanya Ocean View Villa was an absolutely incredible experience! The 360-square-meter villa was spacious and comfortable, with its red tiled roofs and white walls blending Eastern charm with tropical flair. The private pool, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, offered glimpses of the shimmering ocean through the greenery – truly serene and relaxing. The butler service was exceptionally attentive, from the welcome drinks to the turndown gifts, every detail was perfect. I highly recommend the Banyan Tree SPA; the therapists were professional, and the tropical oriental treatment, combining scrubs and massages, melted all my fatigue away. The sunset ritual at the Sea Breeze Bar was romantic, and the Hainanese noodles at Ming Yue restaurant were surprisingly delicious. The privacy here is outstanding, making it a true hidden gem for an island getaway!

GGuest UserThe room decor is a bit dated, but the other facilities are pretty good. They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet with a decent variety, and we even got a free dinner buffet. Although it was crowded and we had to queue for food, it was free after all, so no complaints there. It's perfectly fine! We went with our kids, and there's a free water park and family activities. Someone organized some events for the children, and there's also a hot spring. Overall, it's a pretty good family-friendly hotel.

LLaoshiMy stay at the Grand Metropark in April was a true revelation. Yalong Bay itself is an amazing place, but the hotel turned our trip into a real fairy tale. The grounds are huge and very well maintained, immersed in the greenery of tropical gardens – a true oasis for body and soul. By the way, even though the beach is a bit away, it turned out to be a plus: the beach was always uncrowded, clean, and this private little paradise felt like it belonged only to us (and the shuttle runs every half hour, so it’s no trouble at all).
I love to go for morning runs, and the conditions here were absolutely perfect! In the morning, when the air is still fresh, it's especially pleasant to run along the paths that wind through all that lush greenery. The light tropical mist and the birdsong give you energy for the whole day. And imagine our surprise when, during one of those runs, we ran into the hotel's general manager himself, Mr. Chen Dexiong, who was also out for his morning run! That kind of moment is priceless – you immediately feel that there's a special atmosphere of care and attention to every guest.
The food here deserves a song of its own. Breakfasts and dinners were magnificent: a huge selection of dishes, from your usual scrambled eggs to the freshest seafood and the delights of Asian cuisine, which could be prepared right in front of you or in special hot pots. All the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and the villa cleaning was impeccable.
In short, Grand Metropark is not just a hotel – it's a place you want to return to again and again. For me, it was the best investment in my own rest and recovery.
I would be very happy if my review proves useful. Happy travels to you all!
MMarkdaiwang1. **Facilities:** The facilities here are top-notch, completely dispelling any notions of them being old-fashioned as some online reviews suggested. They're well-maintained, beautifully decorated, and the rooms are spacious. The materials used are high-quality, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. Seriously, these are the best hotel slippers I've ever encountered in Sanya! The hairdryer, coffee machine, bathtub, and bathrobes in the room were all excellent. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.
2. **Hygiene:** The hygiene gets a solid thumbs up from me. The cleaning staff were young, efficient, warm, polite, and very diligent. They even offered turn-down service.
3. **Environment:** The environment is absolutely outstanding. The MITA lawn is grand and perfect for photos, the heated pool and shaded pool are large and comfortable, and there are plenty of beach chairs. The bar area is fun and photo-worthy, and the common areas are incredibly comfortable overall.
4. **Service:** The St. Regis butler service gets a huge thumbs up from me. I initially planned to stay at different hotels each day to experience more, but thanks to the extraordinary service from St. Regis butler Chris, I decided to extend my stay here. Throughout my entire Sanya trip, from arrival to departure, Chris was online, patiently and meticulously providing help and tips, arranging services, explaining things, and swiftly handling any hotel issues. He made me feel completely at home, as if a family member was looking after everything. I highly recommend that St. Regis management reward and promote such an excellent butler, and I suggest that other guests reading this review choose Chris.
It's also worth mentioning that The St. Regis is the only hotel with its own private bay, making boat excursions incredibly convenient. I heard that third-party diving services and the like treat St. Regis guests with exceptional attitude and service.
St. Regis, I will definitely be back again.
FFuwubuhaohuidarenganen## Environment:
The environment is excellent, I'd give it 4.5 stars. The road leading to the hotel from outside is also very beautiful, and the surroundings are quite convenient. The greenery is good, as are the architecture and maintenance. It's very photogenic with many spots to take pictures. There are also small ponds with lotus and water lilies, so if you love flowers, this season is perfect.
## Service:
The staff are all very enthusiastic. We mixed up the breakfast time in the morning and arrived late, but they still waited for us to eat. They provided welcome fruits, five different kinds, which was very nice 👍. They also offered a late check-out proactively. Basically, the hotel tries its best to meet customer needs, which is quite thoughtful. A great experience.
## Room:
We booked a standard room, and they upgraded us to a Thai-style villa with a pool, which was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The bedding was good too; there was a slight noise, but I still slept very comfortably 😌.
## Breakfast:
The variety isn't huge, it's quite simple, but they do have local specialties like pandan coconut buns, which are worth trying – just a little sweet 🤤.
## Influencer Paddleboarding & Floating Mat Fun:
This was a lot of fun. Even if you can't swim, you can try it with the help of a companion. There are lifeguards, so it's quite safe, and there are deep water areas too. My boyfriend was laughing like a ** (idiom for having a great time), it was incredibly entertaining.
## Travel Photography:
The travel photography itself was mediocre, but the shooting locations were good 👍. You can bargain, remember to bargain!
To 'punish' myself for not reviewing sooner, I'll definitely book this place again next time.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Coral Hotel for the stunning 'glass sea' views. The family room was incredibly spacious, with a cool Rubik's Cube-themed decor and everything felt very new. My daughter absolutely loved the bunk beds, constantly climbing up and down. The hotel service was also great, especially the complimentary transfer to our next hotel, Atlantis, upon checkout – which was quite far, so this ride was super convenient! And wow, the ocean around Wuzhizhou Island is truly breathtaking, the 'glass sea' is a perfect 10 and makes for amazing photos. Many people think dining on the island is inconvenient, but actually, staying one night and having hotpot at the Chinese restaurant is fantastic value. Besides seafood, all the other ingredients are buffet style, so there's no way you can eat it all! I completely forgot to take pictures of the room before we messed it up.
GGuest UserI'm quite satisfied with my stay. I booked my flight and hotel on the day of the Qingming Festival. I'd actually been looking at hotels for days, and on the booking day, this was the most suitable option when searching for queen-size sea view rooms under a thousand yuan. Xiaodonghai is very private overall; I later visited Dadonghai and found it too flashy. The hotel's public areas aren't large, but for a young person traveling alone, it was perfectly sufficient and convenient. The pool offers views of the mountains, sea, coconut trees, and green lawns. I was pretty much the only one swimming, which was a really awesome experience! You can even glimpse the sea from the bathtub in the room, and the showerhead had excellent water pressure, which I really liked. I hope to come back to Sanya during the peak season on a sunny day next time.
GGuest UserThe room was large, clean, and private. The service was fantastic. I had a lot of questions, and they were all answered. There was a dedicated butler. A sightseeing shuttle was available for transportation to the room, and it was easy to get one during off-peak hours. The breakfast noodles were especially delicious. The service at this hotel is truly excellent! The bathroom was a pleasure to use even when washing up in the morning.

GGuest UserCame here for a wedding, and the experience was fantastic.
Welcome fruit: The fruit was very fresh. My parents didn't realize it was only for the first night, but when they called room service the next day, they still sent another platter.
Complimentary mini-bar: The drinks in the fridge were also free, which was a nice touch.
Facilities: Although the hotel is a bit older, all the facilities are well-maintained. Overall, it's still clean, hygienic, comfortable, and elegant.
Service: From the concierge to room service, all the staff were smiling and incredibly accommodating. Even when I called the front desk late at night, they patiently resolved my issues.
