This truly is the best hotel in Jilin city, full of thoughtful touches. My girlfriend and I met in Jilin, and a year later, we celebrated her birthday here again. A huge thanks to the housekeeping staff who decorated our room in advance; it was such a pleasant surprise when we opened the door. The room was also very spacious with a beautiful river view. We extended our stay for another night, and the housekeeper diligently cleaned our room and replaced towels and amenities while we were out the next day. Although the hotel has some history, this dedicated and passionate team ensures it maintains its high standards. 👍

I booked this hotel without hesitation after seeing its great reviews and high rating on Ctrip, and the experience was indeed excellent. The hotel is right next to Tusi City, with plenty of dining options nearby. The room was clean, the bedding was soft, and the owner even kindly upgraded us to a more spacious suite with a mahjong table, which was perfect for our family trip.

My experience at Shangri-La Changchun was absolutely perfect. The hotel is located in the city center, making transportation convenient and getting around a breeze. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a good night's sleep even in a roadside room. The service details were impeccable; the front desk staff, especially a young lady, was warm and attentive, even offering complimentary breakfast for my child. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Check-in was efficient and swift, with a professional and friendly attitude, and they were always ready to assist. The gym and heated pool facilities are well-equipped, and I'd love to try them out next time. This will definitely be my first choice when I visit Changchun again.

I have to give a huge shout-out to Tracy at the front desk for this stay. Her service was incredibly thoughtful and warm from start to finish, making my check-in and check-out experience absolutely perfect!
When I checked in, Tracy was so gentle and patient. She proactively helped me with information about local attractions, breakfast times, and hotel facilities. She even gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants – truly attentive and thorough. Any small requests I had during my stay, she was there to help immediately, responding incredibly quickly. She's genuine and polite, which made me feel so welcome.
The hotel's location is also fantastic, super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities. The bedding and toiletries were high quality, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Tracy's professional and attentive service impressed me throughout my stay. This hotel offers excellent value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in the area. I sincerely recommend it to everyone!

Yanji left such a strong impression on me, I'm still thinking about it half a month after returning! And this hotel, in particular, exceeded my expectations! As soon as we arrived in Yanji, the hotel called us to guide us to the parking lot. Later, because of some renovations in the back, the manager came out to help us park and even carried our luggage! The service was truly heartwarming, and the hotel environment was excellent too! The facilities were complete! They were so welcoming to my child, even giving them a small gift! What really stood out was the hotel breakfast. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one's breakfast was the most to my taste. The beef soup and rice was even better than what you find outside, and the warm noodles were delicious too! All the aunties in the restaurant were incredibly friendly! Truly fantastic, I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

The room was fantastic, especially the mattress which was incredibly comfortable. And the bathroom? Absolutely spacious, I honestly didn't want to leave! The hotel's location is also superb, just a 5-minute walk to the subway.
Staying in the Winter Warmth of Changchun | A Short Review of InterContinental Changchun High-tech Zone
Some say a hotel is a home away from home. This stay at the InterContinental Changchun High-tech Zone truly made me feel well taken care of.
**Arrival: A Warm Welcome**
The outdoor temperature was above zero (Celsius, implying a warmer-than-expected winter day), and as soon as I entered the lobby, I was enveloped by a warm, pine-scented aroma. The lady at the front desk saw I was holding a coffee and immediately offered me a wet wipe and a portable cup sleeve. This small detail instantly made a great impression on me.
**In the Room: Embracing the View**
Pulling back the curtains, I looked out at the High-tech Zone's evening streets, with traffic flowing like golden ribbons. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; despite the hustle and bustle outside, it was perfectly quiet inside. A hot bath washed away the dust from my journey. The mattress was just right, neither too soft nor too firm, and I slept deeply that night.
**Culinary Delights: A Taste of Northeast China**
You absolutely must try the steaming hot wontons for breakfast. Sitting by the window, watching the morning light slowly illuminate the city, I felt life was particularly beautiful.
A good hotel makes you fall in love with a city because of one room. Changchun's spring is beautiful, but the hospitality at InterContinental is truly heartwarming.

The hotel's location is a bit remote, but that's typical for hot spring hotels. I communicated with the front desk a few days before arrival. I sent them my high-speed rail information and scheduled a pickup at Changbaishan Station. So, despite the somewhat remote location, the hotel's shuttle service was excellent.
The front desk staff were also very good. When I arrived, I had intended for the front desk to book a rafting trip for me, but it turned out the hotel's contract with the rafting company had expired, so we had to sort it out ourselves. (I had inquired with the front desk a week prior, and they said it could be arranged there. I was surprised to find upon arrival that the hotel had just canceled its contract with the rafting company.) I want to be clear, I'm not blaming the hotel; it was just bad luck. I do hope the hotel can continue to assist out-of-towners in the future, as foreigners often face difficulties booking things in China without local phone numbers.
I wanted to see Tianchi Lake, but it was closed all three days I was there. Rafting was also out. So, I ended up staying at the hotel. However, I enjoyed several hot spring baths, visited the gym, and the hotel can also arrange skiing for you. We didn't go skiing because we had elderly people with us. So, staying at the hotel wasn't bad at all.
There are only two restaurants: a Korean restaurant and the hotel's buffet. The food was good, but the dinner shrimp seemed to be limited. I arrived at 7:30 PM and only got two shrimp, while my dad got five. Then there were none left, and the restaurant staff didn't replenish them.
The room was very large and clean. I particularly liked the rooms at this hotel. The hot spring has both indoor and outdoor sections. I might return in the future.

The hotel experience was great. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was superb, offering Chinese, Western, and Korean options. All the staff were very polite, and the VIP manager was exceptionally attentive, even recommending a list of local delicacies upon check-in. It's definitely worth another visit. It's also super convenient, just a short walk across a small road to the floating market, and the popular 'bullet screen' wall is only a ten-minute walk away.

GGuest UserOur recent stay at the Wanda Jin Suites in Changbaishan was exceptional. If you are looking for a smooth, high-quality winter holiday, I cannot recommend this place enough.
The Highlights:
Exceptional Personalized Service: The team went above and beyond. 七七 (Qi Qi) was wonderful, handling all our in-house requests perfectly and ensuring our check-in and check-out were seamless. She shared daily weather reports and slope availability, which was extremely helpful, and constantly checked in to ensure our room was well-stocked. Meanwhile, 张杰 (Zhang Jie) was instrumental in planning our adventures outside the resort. From visiting Heaven Lake (天池) to exploring the local town and ice fishing, his arrangements were flawless. Together, they made the entire experience feel personal and completely stress-free.
Convenient Mini-Program: Using the resort’s mini-program to book ski instructors was a breeze. We also appreciated the transparency of the instructors; they were honest about what they could deliver and were willing to offer refunds beforehand if they couldn't meet specific requests.
All-Inclusive Skiing: The room package is a game-changer. Including the ski pass and equipment rentals for every day of the stay made getting onto the slopes from check-in incredibly seamless.
Excellent Slopes: The snow quality was great, and the view of the resort from the summit was breathtaking. There are plenty of runs for beginners, while intermediate skiers will love the longer descent from the top. I would take the ride up to the Skyline Cafe, even for a non-skier (all you need is the ski pass).
Dining & Atmosphere: Even nearing the end of the season, there were plenty of great meal options. The restaurant owners were friendly, and the prices were very reasonable for such high-quality food and service.
Fantastic for Families: There was no shortage of activities. My children were entertained every single day and had an absolute blast.
A Small Suggestion:
Winter Comforts: Since it’s a cold-weather destination, my only minor wish would be for heated toilet seats! It can be quite a ”chilly” surprise in the middle of a Changbaishan winter.
Verdict:
An amazing stay with world-class service. A huge thank you to 七七 and 张杰 for making our family trip so memorable!
GGuest UserAt nearly 3000 RMB, frankly, the value for money was poor. The facilities were quite dated, though the location is convenient for accessing the North Slope of Changbai Mountain. Finding dining options required a 1.5 km trip. The hotel's design felt poorly thought out; having the bathtub right next to the head of the bed led to significant humidity. The biggest issue was the cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, where urine stains from the previous guest were still visible on the toilet. On a positive note, the view from the window was lovely. Service was decent, with a dedicated chat group for guests and 24-hour availability. Overall, it was acceptable, but a price between 500-1000 RMB would be far more reasonable.
