This hotel was among my highlights of the trip to Zhangjiajie. The location is as good as it gets, being right next to the cable car station. The room, the amenities and the breakfast are both fantastic, and the receptionist gave me a guide for Tianmenshan, which proved to be very helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent service by the front office staff who was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and polite - Miss Xiao Ting gave an fabulous overview of the Zhangjiajie National Park and tour strategy to maximize our time time. She helped us to make the relevant bookings and even arranged a courier service (for just RMB20 per piece)to move our luggages to another hotel (closer to Tianmen area) when we checked out. Hotel / room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Location is just a few mins walk to the East gate of the National Park

The hotel staff, 晓晓 contacted me after booking to ask if we need any help to arrange for ticket bookings etc. It's easy to communicate with them via wechat and we were replied promptly. There's some discount for booking entrance tickets via the hotel. The washing machine is located on the 1st floor and there is a dryer at every floor. The amenities provided is good and bed was comfortable. There were many sockets available to charge multiple devices. Location is also very convenient to get to the national park. There is a nice restaurant walking distance from the hotel, 筷乐湘西 recommended by the hotel which we went to twice. You can also get some discount if you mention that you're staying at this hotel. The breakfast spread in the hotel has many choices but would be better if jam or butter is provided to spread on toast. At the end of our stay, 晓晓 gave us gifts.

We are a family from Indonesia, a family of five people. We stayed in 2 rooms for two nights. The location was near TIAN SHAN MEN (Heavenly Gate) Cable way station in Zhangjiajie downtown. About 800-900m, a walking distance. If you prefer riding a taxi/Didi, the fare was about CNY 10 or less. The hotel was very clean, modern, well maintained. We felt like it was a new hotel. The front desk reception staffs were very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the FREE pick up service from /and to the Zhangjiajie West station. The breakfast package was also very good. Good job QIAN hotel. LUAR BIASA!

Great location! About 2-3 mins walk from Wuyi Square Metro exit 7. There are plenty of restaurants, malls, and in close walking proximity to the famous locations including the store that sells those oversized snacks. The hotel offers breakfast which is 6.5/10. The reception is on the 7th floor and I got a room on the 14th floor, fairly large and comfortable. There were a few things that could use repair and deep cleaning but was okay for the price and considering the location. Overall, recommend and would stay there if I ever visit Changsha again.

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. Had everything we needed. Cleaners were really nice and helpful, we left our Kay in our room and they helped us get back in. Great location loads of places to eat and 2 seconds from the metro!

One of the best hotel in Changsha! Location perfect everything within the walking distance. Super convenient. Service wise out of this world. The detailed they provided and personalize is even better than any big hotel. The butler service also fantastic will guide and send you info you need. Too good. Specially thanks to 荔枝姐姐 she very passion to her works and provide wonderful services. Everyone in this hotel I can describe is very good. Highly recommended to stay this hotel. Very just in front IFS building.

Lisa was excellent in customer service and our stay was amazing. Competitive pricing and convenient location. Good cleanliness as well.

Cleanliness: 5 Room cleaned daily, towels, shampoo, bath gel, bed sheets, replaced daily. Everything is so new and clean. Even the ash trays outside for smokers are replaced very often. Location: 5 They have free shuttle between hotel and 东门 (east entrance for 森林公园 between 6am(? Not very sure but i dont wake up that early) and 9pm (why would you stay out that late?) which is really convenient. Service: 5 One of the best services I've had. Really really friendly staff that will asks you if you want tea or coffee and even snacks (chicken feet or duck feet if they have😂) while you're just waiting around in the reception. Helps to book cab, plan itinerary, order food, almost anything you can think of. SOOO FRIENDLY. Literally made my trip as they are so friendly. English speakers need not worry as they have someone who can speak English, so rest assured. Amenities: 5 Washing machine, drier on the 6th floor. Has almost everything you need. 2 bottles of water daily (I had 4 in my room probably cause they noticed I drank alot of water?) Great impeccable service, and their receptionist is really cute 🤭. Smart rooms through usage of xiaodu. (Not sure if it works in english, never tried) If I ever visit Zhangjiajie again, this will definitely be my go-to hotel. Will definitely recommend Zhangjiajie and this hotel to my friends and family. 🤗

This is the best hotel we have experienced in China! The hotel is beautiful, from you walk into the lobby, and the room itself. The bed is AMAZING, we even want to find the same mattress and bring home with us to Norway! The room was very smart with electric curtains, projector and speakers. The best thing about this hotel was the welcoming people and the service they provided! Especially 夏花(Xiahua) wich made our trip even unforgettable, thank you❤️ She helped us organize everything, transportation and the best places (routes) to visit. She also made us feel safe, answered our questions and communicated with us through out our trips. If we come back to Zhangjiajie, we will definetly stay here again.

Quite like the room design and features based on different lifestyle themes at different locations around the world. The sunset river view was awesome. But I wouldn't expect the mold around the washbasin and I would also expect the afternoon tea could be far more better than few pieces of fruit and frozen cakes.

I booked twin room for my parents and they absolutely enjoyed their stay! So below is my parent's comments: - The location is prime, right in the center of Changsha, close to everywhere you want to go. - The room is nice and what surprised me is that it's river view even if the booking doesn't mention it. - Staffs are all very friendly and responsive - Good quality breakfast with lots of varieties - Club lounge serves good range of drinks and food too If I ever come to Changsha, I won't stay anywhere else but Grant Hyatt :)

I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities. It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute! The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log. Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.) The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place. The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable. Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great. Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city. Definitely recommend staying here! This W Hotel flawlessly combines luxury, sophistication, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a standout hotel.

The environment of the hotel is OK, the accommodation is comfortable, the facilities and equipment are quite good, and the items in the room are also neatly arranged. There are many items, such as water emulsion, skin care products, refrigerator and beverage arrangement, which is very good. There is Modern China Tea Shop in the lobby, which is also very convenient to order, and can be delivered to the room.！！！The room is ordered with a bathtub, which is OK, and the whole is very good.There is a western restaurant in Datang.Comfortable living, 24-hour convenience store, good geographical location, easy to go out.！！！

Hotel is on top of a fancy mall and near very popular shopping district, great location. Hotel is very new inside. it actually still had new renovation/construction smell when I stayed… A few points I noticed: - ventilation was not very good in the shower and bathroom, room AC was a little weak and noisy. - Bed was clean and comfortable - great and very effective blackout curtains. - good and modern in room amenities - a little bit strange layout - nice clean gym - nice staff - spacious room - Despite of the constant noise and traffic downstairs, it was very quiet on the 15th floor! (Except AC noise…) Cleanliness, convenience,service are important to me, I will stay here again next time I visit!

Marriott's simple and low-key style as always This time I stayed at Changsha Marriott, which opened 22 years ago and is a relatively new hotel, so there are some innovations in the design. For example, there is no TV wall, and the background is directly changed to the outdoor view. The sunny day and the night view at night are all different. 🫶🏻 The executive lounge doesn't have much, but it is quiet. Sit by the window at night and have a drink. 🥂 The downside is that the maintenance is not so good. For example, the box looks a little old and dirty. The coffee and tea bags were not replenished during the cleaning the next day.

Very good, from the lobby reception to the front desk check-in, the staff are very warm and gentle, take-away will also be delivered to the room by waiters, the buffet Chinese food is also very exquisite and satisfactory.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed so far in China. The services are super good and professional. 小贺was the girl who checked us in and she was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great! If you have never been in a Chinese hotel breakfast, it’s not like anything in the US. YANNIAN has literally all options for you - Chinese traditional, western style, and even Hunan authentic style. We had the family room and our 4 years old loved it! Everything is just perfect for us! The afternoon tea is super nice, quiet and relaxing. You can sit on the couch and watch the entire city on the 26th floor. Also, the gym, my husband checked out the gym and it was good too! Highly recommend this hotel. But if you want to go to Wuyi Square, this place is pretty far. YANNIAN is close to the Changsha South train station. They have free train station pickup/drop off services. The driver was also really professional and good.

Wonderful stay. Spacious room with great view of the mountain and cable car. Hotel mgr and his team provided excellent service. Hotel buffet was adequate. A short walk of about 10 mins to reach Tianmen ticket entrance. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel.

I usually don’t post reviews unless upon request (provided they deserved it). This hotel however had impressed me so much so that I’m willing to write a review on my own initiative. The bar to impress is high considering I’m used to staying only at renowned global 5 star hotel chains. While the hotel lobby may not be as grand, upon entry, we were warmly greeted and offered tea. It was also introduced that all the snacks and drinks at the hotel lobby is complimentary. The hotel service staffs are friendly and had also patiently guided us on the route to tour the national park. It’s a short ride to the park which only cost rmb 5-8. Anyways, what impressed me were the following: 1) genuine service - one of the delivery man called to pick up my parcel and left in a jiffy even though I came down to the lobby almost instantaneously; the same staff that had provided me tips to tour the park ran out of the hotel to call the delivery man back. I was genuinely touched by his efforts (it’s a pity I didn’t get his name). 2) Given it’s a long trip we were pleased to learn the laundry room is clean and in a good condition. It has the latest technology which includes auto dispensed soap. What impressed us was that upon the end of the washing service, the cleaning staff had transferred it to the dryer for us! We were in awe with the great service and think they deserve the recognition. In the rooms, you’re also able to see the availability and remaining duration of the machines. 3) Thoughtful act: Hotel provides take away boxes if you want to take away your breakfast to the park. One item that was not very pleasant was when we came down towards the later part of the breakfast hours, the staff told us that they had washed the pan and was not willing to fry the eggs. I thought that was quite strange considering there’s another 30mins before breakfast ends. Nevertheless, given the above merits of the hotel, I’ll look past the small shortcomings.

The hotel is located near the park entrance, Charming Xiangxi show and Wulingyuan city center. The hotel has a large selection of Chinese and Western food for its breakfast hotel. The room we received was large and spacious. Although the hotel is supposed to be non smoking, we found smoke smell entering our room. After we informed the front desk, they promptly arranged another room for us. Thanks to their service we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is close to the east gate of Wulingyuan and historic interest area. It’s very convenient to start your trip from here. It’s a 10min walk from the bus station that takes you to the Grand Canyon and zhangjiajie. The streets with the shops are 1-2km walking. They have many choices for breakfast. Different vegetables, noodles, bread, eggs, fruit etc. Even cornflakes and toast if you only like western food. They change it a bit everyday which is nice. The room was good and they cleaned it every day. Only underneath the bed it was dusty. The room had automatically opening curtains and airco. I would recommend this hotel. The staff does not speak English so if you don’t speak a little Chinese it might be a little inconvenient.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Tinamen Mountain cable car (10 minute walk), and close to many restaurants. We got a room upgrade to a very big, comfortable and clean room. The breakfast is excellent, delicious traditional chinese cuisine. The hotel haas a travel agency (where we booked tickets to the national park saving us the lines), money exchange service and several grocery stores. Overall everything was good except for a very unpleasant interaction with the staff. We had an early train in the morning and we asked at the front desk to help us book a taxi in advance. The entire staff, none of them speaks english obviously, 5 people started to make fun of us in chinese for several minutes, eventually telling us to to catch a taxi on the road at 5 in the morning. What is so funny about asking the hotel staff to call a taxi? It was very humiliating, this hotel clearly does not care for its foreign guests. I've stayed in several hotels in China, never have I experienced anything similar. Additionaly, since we checked out before breakfast the hotel refused to provide us with any appropriate compensation, offering us a bottle of water and a piece of bread. Cannot recommend this hotel.

I decided to go to Zhangjiajie on a whim and booked this newly opened Hilton Garden Inn. The weather was not so good when I arrived in Zhangjiajie yesterday. I woke up today and found that the view of the room after the front desk upgrade was so good. I could clearly see the view of Tianmen Mountain. The facilities in the room were also new and practical, clean and tidy, without any odor, which was very good. The service was also good. I loved the self-service bar in the lobby. You can choose coffee or tea. I like it. The local specialties ”rice noodles” and ”wormwood baba” for breakfast are also very good and worth recommending. After checking out, you can see the Tianmen Mountain cableway slowly passing through the middle of the city as soon as you walk out of the door. It's great! Well, I went to visit the attractions in a good mood. The hotel is highly recommended~

Our trip to Zhangjiajie couldn’t have been better! This hotel is a few minutes walking distance away from a secondary (non crowded!) entrance to the National Park. The view from the pool is facing the National Park too, which couldn’t be more beautiful. Same goes for the surroundings as the area is super calm, you can relax indeed. The restaurant serves good typical food (we highly recommend the sea bass fish - both versions). The breakfast is acceptable with a mix of asian western (although mostly Asian you can find such things as yogurt, croissants, butter and bread). The hotel could be improved in minor details, which we passed on to the team. But these won’t make your experience bad in anyway. What made our stay one of the best in this big China trip was our hostess named Fan! ＜3 She was always available for us, did the impossible to find anything we needed and surprised us all the time. She carefully planned all our itineraries for all the attractions, never forgot a single request and spoke English better than anyone else in the Team. She was 6 out of 5*. ;) Don’t miss Jojo, the beautiful and cute cat belonging to the hotel. :) Our room also included a transfer which we used to the airport by the end of the stay, driving us in time to our flight. We hope to be back one day. :)

I booked this hotel for my mom since my husband and I stayed there a few years ago and had an amazing experience. However, she said that no one would speak to her in any English (when we were there, everyone was very helpful and the manager was foreign). She also had a bad experience with a massage she booked. She thought she could charge it to the room, but the woman demanded cash, then once she paid, wouldn’t let her out of the room until she gave an extra tip. Apparently that was the only word she said in English the whole time. I’ve never been expected to tip in China, so this seems like they’re taking advantage of foreign guests who may not know better. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of the national park, but the concierge tried to get her to take a taxi for way too much to a different gate. Luckily, she called me to ask if that was worth it and I told her, “no, don’t take a ¥50 taxi to another gate when you’re less than 1km from one of the main gates.” It just made her start to feel uncomfortable that everyone in the hotel was trying to trick her. It’s a shame because the hotel is lovely and the breakfast is actually quite good, which my mom said is still the case. But she had a very mixed experience where the hotel was great, but the staff didn’t make her feel well taken care of. Very different from my husband’s and my experience a few years ago.

The room service was enthusiastic and cleaned every day for three days. Breakfast can also be enjoyed in the executive lounge on the tenth floor. The dining environment is quieter and the variety is more diverse. It is also close to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway. Overall, I am very satisfied.

The day before check-in, the hotel front desk communicated with us to understand the high-speed train number we would take to Zhangjiajie, and provided a pick-up service. The hotel's shoe-shining and laundry services are very nice. After going out every day, the hotel will help wipe off the dirt on the shoes, and can also wash and dry the clothes, which is really helpful for us who have a lot of transit during the trip. There is also sweet soup every night, and the front desk will ask about the type of breakfast for the next day every day. The set breakfast is much better than some star-rated hotels. The hotel also has a cute silver tabby cat, who eats and sleeps all the time, and has a very Buddhist temperament, so you can play with it as you like~

Great staff, friendly but professional. Especially thanks to those young ladies in Mao's costumes. They provided valuable information about how to make the most out of our time in Fenghuang Ancient Town, including the best time to see the night-time activities, and where to eat. One the the lady walked us to the stairs/walkway so we can walk to the Town. Before she turned back, she advised us to take a taxi to the hotel due to the walkway will to too dark to walk and unsafe. The room is big with an electric kettle but no tea bag or coffee provided. The breakfast buffet had variety with both Chinese and Western foods.

The hotel is close to the Fog bridge in the Fenghuang ancient city. My room has the river view and two balconies, which is excellent for night view of the city. The room is spacious enough for four adults, but needs to share for one bathroom. The breakfast buffet only offered a simple Chinese breakfast with limited varieties. The hotel room was quiet at night time. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The restaurant was excellent and offered authentic Hunan style food. Overall, this hotel experience was excellent.

If you are visiting Furong Town, this is the best hotel to stay in. First up, the hotel provides free pickup service from the railway station. Communication with the hotel staff via WeChat is seamless. The hotel is within a 3mins walk to the attraction entrance. The room itself is spacious and clean as shown in the picture. Only issue we faced was the weird design of the toilet and shower cubicle. The shower cubicle is too small and has no space to hang towel or clothes without wetting them. Overall still the best place to stay in my opinion within Furong.

Really nicely decorated hotel. Id say one of the best hotels in this region. Given only four stars as our room was quite strong with cigarette smell. We informed the staff about it and they said they would send someone to fix it. I think what they did was just opening the window which made it worse as the cigarette smell was stronger when we came back possibly because we were on the second floor and someone was smoking outside. We didnt bother to tell them again as it was late and we just wanted to sleep. There was also some sticky stain on the floor that we asked them to clean it but it was still there when we came back. Staff very friendly. A tea set is also provided.

A very beautiful hotel with lovely styled rooms and very helpful staff. Manager Wang's service was excellent. We had a language barrier but they still managed to arrange a pick-up and drop off to the high speed railway. The hotel is in a great location with a view of Fenghuang bridge from the room balcony. Unfortunately it is true what other reviewers say about the bathroom being poorly designed. Rather than a shower, it is a bath tub with a retractable shower head and water gets everywhere if you try to use it as a standing shower. It is also true that the noise from the streets, particularly the music from the bar next door, is very loud at night, but it stops at 23:30. However, we found these to be minor inconveniences in our stay, which was overall very romantic and hugely positive. We'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

I made an appointment with a good friend to relax together on the weekend. A classmate had stayed in Erzhuo Valley before and said the environment was very good. The two of us came directly after get off work on Friday. There was a butler to pick us up after getting off the high-speed rail. The journey to the valley was also quite short. As a Cantonese, I really like Hunan cuisine. I had 5 meals in the past two days and was amazed by several dishes. I couldn't forget them after eating them! ! I also secretly asked what chef was hired here. The first one was spare ribs, which were fried with tea leaves 😍 It was really special and delicious! ! The second one was peanut sprouts. It was the first time I ate peanut sprouts. When it was served, I thought it was lotus root tips. The crispy taste was very good. The third one was the giant salamander that must be eaten here. I had two methods, hot pot and dry pot. The hot pot one was a bit similar to the crispy Anhui fish in Guangdong, and the dry pot one was more flavorful and fragrant. The breakfast was very nutritious, and there was also giant salamander porridge in it, which was very fresh and sweet. The itinerary for Saturday was to go rafting. There is a Mengdong River rafting nearby. I heard that it is the best rafting in the world. It is quite exciting. It is also my first time rafting. It is quite fun. I was a little tired after rafting. I lay down in the room to rest on Sunday morning. I also took a photo of the light and shadow. When I opened the curtains, I could see the endless green mountains. I planned to go swimming in the afternoon. There is also a very beautiful infinity pool in the second phase, but I made a mistake and forgot to put the swimsuit in the suitcase. I will make up for it next time. Cows and horses who are used to seeing high-rise buildings really love this original ecological environment and successfully get rid of the smell of work. I am already on the way back to Guangdong. I will record the beautiful memories of this weekend for myself.

Facilities: Chinese high-end decoration, pure log furniture, mousse mattress, Kohler sanitary ware. The room is located by the river and you can see the night view by opening the window at night. Hygiene: The bathroom is neatly arranged, equipped with disposable toilet pads, and the bedding is clean and hygienic. Environment: The night view of the river is good, you can reach the Tuojiang Night Scenic Area when you go out, and it is quiet and not noisy at night. You can sit on the balcony to watch the sunrise when the weather is good. Service: The housekeeper is very enthusiastic. If you need service, he will send a car to take us there. The travel guide will also be explained very clearly. If you need service, just let us know on WeChat, and we will actively meet it under reasonable circumstances.

The service is impeccable. Miss Jingjing at the front desk was warm and friendly, and the check-in procedure was quick and efficient. During the stay, the hotel staff was also smiling and ready to help at any time, making people feel at home. It is particularly worth mentioning that the hotel's breakfast is very good and satisfactory, and the room is also very clean and tidy. The only shortcoming is that takeaways cannot be brought in, but I am very satisfied to be able to enjoy such a good hotel at such a low price! Next time, I will continue to choose Crown in Jishou!

Seek truth, say one thing. 1 The biggest feature is that the breakfast is great, the content is rich, the taste is good, and the environment is very good. 2 The external environment of the hotel is very good. 3 The swimming pool experience is very poor, giving people the feeling that the tenant is going to butter, there is no wardrobe, no slippers, no shampoo and body soap, if you want to store the wardrobe, you need to add 20 yuan. 4 The room experience is poor, (1) the door is insured after going out, can't open, looking for the front desk, saying that it is insured by us (how can no one in the house be insured?), I can find the engineering department to repair, and the front desk does not admit it. (2) The air conditioner cannot be ”tuned”, the heat is dead, find the engineering department to check and repair, said that the ventilation switch was turned off, and it broke after a while, until leaving.
