Hotels With Breakfast in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan

During my recent trip to Japan, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue — and from the moment I arrived, the level of service was simply impeccable. The staff were not only gracious and professional, but also went out of their way to assist me at every turn, despite my lack of Japanese language skills. Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression and made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. Though the room was compact, it was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. As a solo traveler, I found the space more than sufficient — cozy, comfortable, and a fantastic value for the price. It truly struck the perfect balance between affordability and quality. A special mention goes to the amenities: the hotel provides a well-stocked amenity station at the reception, where guests can freely pick up whatever they need — a detail that reflects the hotel’s attention to guest convenience. While the location is a little removed from the city center, this wasn’t an issue at all for me, as I had a rental car. The added bonus? Free parking on-site, which made my stay even more convenient and budget-friendly. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. With its blend of elegant ambiance, exceptional service, and thoughtful touches, it became a peaceful and comfortable base for my journey — one I would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.

The location is incredibly convenient. The airport shuttle drops you off right at the hotel entrance, and the train station, bus terminal, and ferry terminal are all just a minute's walk away. There's also a bakery in the hotel with a good reputation, though guests no longer get discounts. From the breakfast area on the first floor, you can see the queue at the ferry terminal. While the breakfast isn't extensive, it's quite refined, and it's super convenient if you're in a hurry. The hotel hosts many tour groups from Europe and Southeast Asia, but the elevators are fast, so it's not an issue. We pre-booked dinner at the hotel's famous French restaurant, but business was slow – surprisingly few guests even on Halloween, and no decorations either. However, the food was delicious, the presentation was excellent, and the set menu was very satisfying and reasonably priced.

Price is good. Location is great, just 5 mins by foot to JR Takamatsu and the train station Takamatsu-Chicco. Staff is helpful and nice too. However, the room is old and aging on the amenities. Dust is on the desk, on ceiling, and near the air-conditioner. Carpet looks not washed for quite some time. Fortunately the bed is comfortable and I feel hygiene on it. For someone who has high standard of hygiene, this hotel would not be an option for them.

Conveniently located next to walking shopping street, Macdonalds, Saizeriya, Muji, Loft and drug stores! Friendly staff who are always ready to help you. The breakfast everyday was so delicious and I got to enjoy it on a few days I was staying. I had a bicycle and they allowed me to park it on the 2nd floor which is the check-in lobby. The dormitory is quiet and everyone was respectful. There is a small kitchen with cutlery, utensils, a fridge, ice and water machine and microwave. I would come back to stay again!

The hotel's location is excellent. After taking the airport shuttle bus to Kawaramachi Station, it's just a 3-minute walk to the hotel. It's also within easy walking distance to popular areas like Hyogomachi, Kataharamachi, and Marugamemachi, which we visited almost daily. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and its facilities are incredibly thoughtful. On the first floor, there's a 24-hour free drink dispenser, complimentary disposable amenities, and even bath salts available for guests. I absolutely loved Wing International Hotel and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Takamatsu. Furthermore, getting to Takamatsu Chikkō (Port) and JR Takamatsu Station is super convenient, as they are just one tram stop away!

This was probably the most expensive hotel we stayed at during this trip, but it was unavoidable since it coincided with a Japanese holiday. **Environment:** The location is excellent. You can catch the airport shuttle right outside. **Facilities:** The room was quite spacious. We had no problem at all opening up two large suitcases. I'm glad we stayed here on our last day.

Let's start with the location: the hotel is right across from the airport shuttle stop, and there's a new, pretty affordable BBQ joint nearby that's worth checking out. As for the airport shuttle across the street, you can catch the bus after 10 AM in the morning. For the buses after 9:50 AM, the chances of getting a seat at this stop are very slim, and you'll likely have to sit in the very back. The buses after 10 AM are very empty, so you can sit wherever you like. Now, about the hotel facilities: they initially gave us room 605, and the smell of urine in the bathroom was disgusting. After we spoke to the front desk, they immediately moved us to another room, which had no strange odors. The bed was quite comfortable, and the room was spacious. The hotel's top floor has a hot spring bath, and the washing machine is also located there, though it seems rarely used. Regarding hotel services: in the evening, they offer popsicles on the top floor, and in the morning, they provide lactic acid drinks similar to Yakult. After 9 PM, they even serve complimentary ramen. Overall, Dormy Inn is definitely worth a stay.

The room is specious for keeping 2 medium sized suitcases. The location is convenient with a Lawson and a supermarket downstairs. Staff are friendly. The only imperfect thing is the public bath is so small which could allow 4-5 guests to use.

The hotel was overall good. The staff's service was quite satisfactory, and although the room was quite small, it was neatly organized. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the bed was a bit too soft.. They provide soba as a late-night snack, so you can eat it as much as you want. There is a hot spring on the top floor, which is small in size but well-equipped. There is a sauna, cold water, hot water, and outdoor water, so it was really nice to use. You can use this as much as you want. After using it, you can have an ice cream bar or Yakult, and you will feel really good. There is a separate lounge opposite the entrance to the hot spring, so you can read comics because it is not too uncomfortable. However, there is a smoking room next to it, so you cannot use it. The breakfast was also neat and good to eat. It was delicious because they fried the tempura right in the morning, and I could eat udon with high rice rice, which was nice. However, I thought they filled the table to the brim and secretly filled it up a lot, but as expected, the employees were muttering and several people were looking at me, so if you're going to come here, please fill up moderately..ㅎㅎㅎ There's also dessert, but I didn't take a picture.. Next time I go to Takamatsu, I'll come here again..

The hotel is located across from Marugame Station, visible from the exit. Check-in is very convenient, with self-service check-in. From 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, they offer free udon noodles on the first floor, limited to one bowl per person. The udon is delicious, though it's somen, which I find even better. It's also very close to the main restaurant of Ichiraku-kutsuke-dori, about a five-minute walk away. The restaurant is quite busy; we went there around 6:00 PM and waited in line for about 20 minutes. We finished around 7:00 PM, and by 8:00 PM, the line was already more than ten meters long. We stayed on the 8th floor, which has a small balcony overlooking the port. We checked in around 6:00 PM and were able to catch a glimpse of the sunset, with the Seto Inland Sea Bridge looming.
