The hotel room in the villa was great. Do note, however, that it requires climbing two steep, narrow flights of stairs to get to it! This wasn't an issue for us, but it's definitely worth being aware of. They do clearly mention this on their website. The staff were friendly and helpful, and a minor problem we had was promptly and efficiently resolved. The hotel is truly right on the beach, just a 100-meter walk away.
This is such a nice hotel to stay no matter you are a business traveler, solo traveler or with a family. The lounge and workspace suit all these types and help you to relaxed! A very central location with walkable distance to the Rotterdam Centraal Station, The Market and the harbour side.
You will be surprised that they have a nice exercise area! Their breakfast is also nice for those who have tight schedule in the morning or simply wanna chill at the lounge.
If you are a person who cares for saving our planet or a design lover, you will love this hotel. USUAL cares about the impact of their building materials and daily products on the environment and do good job in recycling as well. You can tell from their interior design of their entire hotel. And it’s fun to find out how many “U” they hide in all the design details!
Have fun and enjoy your stay there like me!
The location of this hotel was perfect. Unfortunately there is no view of the beach, but you can be on the beach within 5 minutes. There is also a supermarket and bakery very close by. Because there was a refrigerator in our room, we could easily store food and drinks to take with us on our adventures in Scheveningen.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was someone at the hotel 24/7, so we could be out late and still get into our hotel room.
The hygiene was fine. Everything was just neat and clean, and we got clean towels when needed.
The hotel parking lot is large and convenient.
The room is clean and relatively spacious overall.
The hotel breakfast is slightly simple, mainly bread and eggs.
I really enjoyed CityHub Rotterdam. We were here for a convention of one night and needed a quick and cheaper place to stay as we wouldn't be at the hotel at all. The capsule room really feels bigger than it looks on photos I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious it feels and not claustrophobic at all.
It fit 2 people very comfortably! It was almost a queen sized bed and I felt very cozy. The pillows and linen looked very new and we're very clean.
The rooms do have ventilation but not as much as I would have liked. I can't imagine it being very comfortable during the summer. Late spring was still doable but a bit on the warmer side.
Checking in was a simple process by using the touchpad screens in the hotel lobby with your booking code. However my code from the Trip app didn't seem to work, so I asked the person at the front desk to give me mine based on my name and ID. .
You're given a wristband with an NFC Chip embedded into it which acts as your key to your pod and also payment for additional food, drinks and amenities available on the lobby. This is super nice and you don't lose it.
As for noise, when booking, we requested a pod that was tucked away in the corner, dead end and away from the elevator and I was happy. You *can* hear people talking very loudly and stomping/footstep noises is very clearly heard. So don't forget to bring ear plugs too.
I also liked that the toiletries provided were Rituals (a really nice upscale beauty product brand in the Nl) it really elevated the experience. Speaking of bathing it is ”dormitory” style so you are seperated into two different bathing areas and have your own stalls to shower in. The stalls didn't feel as clean / well maintained as the pods though. But the provided towels were big. Do remember to bring your own slippers otherwise you'll be stuffing wet feet into your shoes.
All in all a 4/5 experience!
It was pricey because we were in town for a convention, but the regular rates were fine for what you get. If you're looking for a clean hassle free experience check it out.

Very Good
DD1336****Preparing for a cruise, the Nhow Rotterdam Hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the cruise terminal. This makes transportation incredibly convenient and getting around effortless. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bedding is very comfortable. A truly great choice!
RRaymond J GNice hotel, good location. We rented a suite for a combined business and pleasure trip. Hotel is rights above a supermarket. Be careful!! Supermarket delivery trucks keep you from sleeping at night. Also Internet connection not working. Strongly recommend to not stay here. At least not when you are expecting a good night sleep.....Only poor excuse was offered. Friendly staff, just noisy rooms. Stay away!
TTrivikramThe Location of the hotel is very good. It is located directly near Eendrachtsplein Metro Station. There are Terminals for check in which is convenient. You don't find a conventional reception as in other hotels (But still located directly next to the entrance door). The staff is very Helpful and Friendly. The rooms are neat and clean. The rooms at night are a bit loud as it is directly located on the crossroads/junction depending on the room allocated. Will definitely recommend it.

GGuest Userreceptionist was rude. initially she assigned me a room on 3rd floor, i went up to the room and there was literally someone sleeping on the bed. so i went to front desk again to ask for another room. she sighed in disbelief like i'm a dumb person. she questioned me and was generally rude (sighing, not even saying sorry for the mistake, and not nice). she just silently did some admin work and give me a new card without saying a single thing.
room and toilet was ok but a bit ghetto, the lobby of the hostel seemed promising but in reality, the hallways of the room seemed suspicious and unsafe. there were people just hanging around there, sitting in the staircase (in a suspicious way, not a cool socializing way). walls are super super thin, we could hear parents scolding their kids and the kids screaming and crying. i wouldn't recommend this place considering their high price.
GGuest UserThis hotel’s winning points are the swimming pool, spa room and breakfast! The staff in the breakfast area are great. For the spa room, the first room given to us the sauna was not working so they needed to switch us to another room. We went from an amazing view to just looking over a roof of the building next to it. The manager in charge at that time said theyo have other available rooms that is similar with better view but we need to pay extra. It was a bit ironic. Nevertheless, we tried to enjoy the rest of our time there. It is isolated and a long walk from everything else so it is ideal for that kind of holiday. Best to take car and not public transport going there.
AAnonymous UserQuite a nice hotel that is very close to the flixbus bus stop. Water pressure and heater are great. The air condition gets quite cold but you can always ask the reception to adjust it. It's an old building so every sound made within the building is amplified. Apart from that it was a very good stay.
GGeneralChaosIbis Styles Delft is a no-nonsense basic business hotel located in the main plaza next to the railway station. It's clean and comfortable and well managed and has a funky space related reception area and lobby.
It's a little thin on extra services that you might normally find in a business hotel however.. for example cannot borrow an umbrella, have to buy one for €15. No bottled water in the room, have to drink from the toilet tap or buy water from the hotel. The lower floors (odd numbered rooms) are dark and a bit gloomy as they face into an enclosed area surrounded by the rest of the hotel, however if you're only sleeping then it's got everything you need. My room was a weird shape and not ideal for business. There was a low sofa and table not the usual desk making laptop work a bit of an effort. The room furniture wasn't very well thought through.
Location is great on the canals and just 2mins from the train station. There's a nice coffee shop on the ground floor and lots of restaurants nearby. There's a small convenience store in the station.
Expensive compared globally, but in line with other local hotels around Delft. Would recommend for business travellers in Delft.
CCh3st3rExcellent and quiet location, around 5 minutes walk to the rotterdam central station, easy check in and out and friendly staff and they even offered to take our luggage to room, shame no lift and the lift is for staff used only, pillows were too soft and okay bed, had free coffee and tea every morning however it seems they didn't refill them - once they were gone they were gone which was a shame as it depends how much guests on the day. Okay shower.
GGuest UserSmart hotel in a good location for exploring historical Gouda. Well-equipped and comfortable room - with kettles available (although not in the room as standard). Nice high pressure shower, good aircon, nice, quiet room. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked really nice. There was lots of rather strange, slightly unnerving artwork of people eating cheese... The artwork looked AI generated and overall felt cheap and at odds with the rest of the hotel's design.
The hotel made a show about being eco and 'environmental', however the bathroom cups were wrapped in plastic - this is completely needless (no one ever wraps the coffee cups in plastic!).
Worryingly, on check-in the receptionist insisted that I hadn't paid in advance and made me pay on the spot. When I later checked this I found that, as I thought, I HAD indeed paid in advance. To be fair, when I showed her evidence on my phone she immediately initiated a refund, but really - how can that be allowed to happen?? Surely it should all be on the hotel's system. If I hadn't spotted the mistake I would have paid twice. Not impressed!
