Family Friendly Hotels in Penang, Malaysia

Apartment was very clean when we check in. Realised previous occupant’s towels were not cleared in toilet. Beds are v comfortable to sleep in. Location is gd, just that every where you go have to grab as it’s not within walking distance.

Very recommended to all..strategic located..the room clean..the toilet also clean.. Children can play at children room and playground..

The hotel was overly crowded, and service standards noticeably dropped, especially during the 3 PM check-in rush. While they offer a Family Lounge—which is a thoughtful touch—the service there was actually slower than the main queue outside. The bellboy/luggage area was also extremely slow during peak hours (check-in/check-out). The facilities and pool are great for kids, but overall the service was disappointing. During breakfast, when we asked for a baby chair, we were told to walk to a corner and get it ourselves—not what you'd expect from a 5-star resort. Our room also had a leaking toilet. We reported it, and I believe someone came while we were out, as the floor mat had black shoe stains. However, the issue was not fixed, and no one updated us or offered to change our room. For the price and brand, the lack of service and communication was truly underwhelming.

The check-in process was very slow despite the friendliness and service from the receptionist who was very polite and kind. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The food choices at breakfast were quite limited but worth it. And again, the service of the staff here was top-notch and very good, so well done and thank you to the hotel team for that.

Fantastic stay with super friendly, dedicated and sincere services. Well equipped and warmly decorated room. Excellent breakfast with variety of local and international choices, then eggs, roti, noodle soup and juice are freshly made to orders. A nice place to slow down the pace and relax

Perfect stay! The place was cozy, sooooo clean and easy access. The parking also near only 1-minute walking to lift lobby. The view was so nice 🥰 Have swimming pool at level 9. And the location is so strategic near delicious nasi kandar Sulaiman🤩👍🏻 Thank you!

The Marriot Penang hotel apartment is new, perfect and very spacious. Location is great, opposite new reclaimed Gurbey walk & garden and the sea. The look and feel of the interior is modern and very very pleasing. We like it very much. Swimming pool is clean and the gym is great too. The coffee & pastry at the ground floor cafe is superb, should try it. Thumbs up to Marriots Penang hotel mgmt and the excellent staff for the best service..we will come back again.

Nice location. 2 parking spaces given which is very good and nicely located near the elevator. Only complaint is the time waiting for the elevator. Too many guest/patrons probably. Worse during checkout time. Other than that apartment was spacious and clean. Very happy with it.
