I really loved the spacious Suite 1665, especially having a small kitchen in the room, which was super convenient. The only thing that bothered me was at checkout. I asked a slightly overweight porter with black-rimmed glasses to help me call a taxi. While we were waiting by the road, he saw a white car approaching. Recognizing the driver, he immediately prioritized helping that guest, leaving us standing there. Later, I went into the lobby to find him and saw him helping the people from the white car with their luggage. I personally saw him put their luggage into the white car and collect a tip from them. This was at 2:48 PM. It seems some people are just driven by tips. I'm not making this up! The hotel should have surveillance footage!

Cordis never disappoints me. It is my third time to stay at this hotel for business trip. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Cleaning team also does an excellent job. On 14 May I was working in hotel in afternoon, the cleaning team asked me carefully if she could clean the room. I said yes of course. She did it very efficient and provide me with a mouse pad as she noticed that I didn’t hv one with a laptop on . I was too busy to say thank you to her, if hotel could see this, please do give her good performance rewards. My next visit to HK will surely be with Cordis again.

Overall, my stay was quite good. Before checking in, I'd seen reviews online mentioning that the facilities were a bit old, but I actually found them to be perfectly acceptable. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning made a noticeable sound when running, but I found it tolerable. The room size was quite spacious, and the layout was very practical. It was also very clean. The service was polite, and they even accommodated a request I made when booking. When I checked in, I asked for a room with a better view, and they immediately upgraded me to a higher floor. Also, I had read online that the room type I booked required showering in the bathtub, but there was actually a separate shower stall, so I assume I got an upgrade, which was very nice!

The Royal Garden Hotel is right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. I first stayed there back in 1999 when I visited Hong Kong, and I remember thinking how beautiful it was, especially the rooftop pool – absolutely stunning! The hotel's atrium restaurant, with its soaring, open-plan design spanning over ten floors, was also impressive. I've stayed at The Royal Garden several times since, and even on my most recent visit, it still felt remarkably new! Fantastic value for money.

This is my third stay at this hotel. It's a 5-star hotel that's clean, hygienic, and has a comfortable environment. The value for money is excellent, and the service is great. The only drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center. It's just a few minutes' walk from Shimen MTR station, and the hotel also offers a free shuttle bus service to and from the station. Plus, if there's a concert at Kai Tak, they even provide a complimentary drop-off to the venue.

A massive hotel right by Tsuen Wan Plaza, with a bus terminus next door and a footbridge connecting to the MTR. There wasn't much in the way of service, but a huge thanks for the unexpected upgrade to a 71st-floor sea view room! The room size is a luxury for HK, although some of the details felt a bit rough around the edges, and the air conditioning was quite noisy at night.

Although the price isn't super cheap, the location is fantastic. It's really convenient for visiting Victoria Harbour and shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui, and it's right next to the MTR station. Tsim Sha Tsui and Kowloon West Hong Kong|2.14km from city centre
I booked two nights here at almost 500 per night, after carefully selecting it from an online platform known for its 'great value for money.' Overall, it had its pros and cons. **Location:** This is definitely its core strength. You can walk to all sorts of tea houses, dessert shops, shopping, and supermarkets that Tsim Sha Tsui has to offer. Pretty much every place we spontaneously tried nearby turned out to be highly recommended by others. Public transport, needless to say, is easily accessible. **Service:** We checked in on a non-holiday, arriving around 12 PM, and were able to check in smoothly without having to wait until 3 PM. The front desk staff and guiding personnel were all very polite and always smiling. **Room:** We booked a 20-square-meter king room. Generally, it wasn't particularly spacious; you couldn't open a 20-inch suitcase on the floor, but it wasn't cramped either. **Facilities:** This is where I felt they really fell short! First, the elevator – you have to wait a long time. There's only one elevator going up, so it genuinely took 5 minutes every time. For going down, there are two or three elevators, but only one goes directly to the ground floor. Another incredibly frustrating design was the motion-sensor light at the entrance. You couldn't manually turn it off, and it would periodically switch on automatically after we'd turned off all the lights to sleep! My child had just managed to fall asleep, and then suddenly was woken up by the bright light – it was beyond annoying! Eventually, around 1 AM, I had to go to the front desk for help, and they found an engineer to remove the motion-sensor light from our room. If your room also has a motion-sensor light at the entrance, I strongly advise asking the front desk to remove it proactively upon check-in. Otherwise, after a full day of activities, having to deal with this in the middle of the night is truly exhausting!

This was my first time staying at this hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. The service at the front desk, in the lobby, and in the room was incredibly patient, warm, and attentive. It felt like the occupancy rate was high, and the lobby was bustling. Although I had to wait a bit for check-in, it didn't dampen my spirits at all. The room was spacious, bright, quiet, relaxing, clean, and comfortable; all in all, I really enjoyed my stay! The wardrobe, with its glass and solid wood frame, felt modern yet elegant. The view outside the window was captivating; while not a direct sea view, the distant skyline was impressive, with the scenery constantly changing as time passed. I was thrilled to admire the beauty of Victoria Harbour from such a unique perspective. I was even happy with the photos I took through the glass! The breakfast was also excellent! 😄 A delightful two days! Thank you, Park Hotel!

Sai Wan and Sheung Wan Hong Kong|4.47km from city centre
This hotel's location is super convenient for us, especially since we needed to shoot some scenes nearby, so it was the most practical choice. However, the hotel room itself is really tiny. Normally, it's priced at around 200-300 RMB, but during the holidays, it jumped to over 1000 RMB – a huge rip-off, in my opinion. The bathroom is incredibly small; the toilet is positioned in such a way that you can't sit on it properly, you have to sit sideways. The room is particularly cramped, and you have to shower standing in the bathtub. The biggest issue was that the curtains wouldn't close completely. We thought we could just deal with it, but then the outdoor lights were so bright late at night that we couldn't sleep. We had to call staff to help us out, and honestly, we barely got any rest that night. On the upside, the surrounding area is very convenient, with lots of our favorite restaurants nearby. It has a great, lively atmosphere.

Prince Edward and Tai Kok Tsui Hong Kong|0.78km from city centre
The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from Exit C of Olympic MTR station, making it very convenient to get to Hong Kong Disneyland. The MTR station is located inside the Olympian City shopping mall, which is great for shopping and dining. There are also many eateries along the way. Across the street from the hotel, there's a Wellcome supermarket. On several floors of the hotel, near the elevator, there's a free chilled water dispenser. You can buy bottled water at Wellcome, and then refill it at these stations. Just be mindful not to let the bottle mouth touch the dispenser spout for hygiene reasons. The room comes with an electricity card inserted, which keeps the room ventilated. This is handy if you're traveling with others, as it prevents the power from turning off if someone takes the key card with them. The TV works fine, so you can watch it if you have some downtime. The room also has good natural light, although the windows don't open. There's a sofa that can be used to store some items. The front desk staff speak Mandarin and are very helpful. They also offer free luggage storage.

The hotel's location is excellent, right outside are the subway, bus, and taxis, making transportation very convenient. The only downside was the large number of Central Asian guests who were quite noisy. A few Central Asian children were constantly playing loudly in the hallway, and used food containers were piled up along the corridor after people ordered fast food.

Wan Chai and Causeway Bay Hong Kong|4.45km from city centre
Overall, it exceeded my expectations. For a price of 600+ in this location, it's quite good, especially since it includes breakfast and afternoon tea. This Ctrip voucher deal offered incredible value for money. It was Mother's Day on the day of check-in, and although there wasn't any special gesture, the sweet young lady at the front desk seemed to have upgraded my room. It was on a high floor and very quiet, with a spacious room and a large bed. The pillows were also very comfortable – excellent! 👌 First, the positives: The location is superb, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the afternoon tea is better than breakfast. Plus, the 30th floor was a pleasant surprise with drinks, coffee, and toys. Both adults and children were thrilled! On the first day, a toy lost a leg, and on the second day, we found that the hotel had replaced it with a new one – truly fantastic! 👍 Now, for the negatives: The breakfast really isn't worth it; I'd rather book a room-only rate and eat out, perhaps at Sister Hua. The restaurant seriously needs an overhaul, especially since it's on the first floor and the lighting isn't great, which spoiled the breakfast experience. Also, the TV in the room was exceptionally dim. With my aging eyes, I could barely see the screen, and I couldn't figure out how to adjust the brightness, so I barely watched it. Overall, the value for money is good, and the service is also quite decent. Keep up the good work!

Tsuen Wan Hong Kong|7.01km from city centre
This is an older, reputable four-star hotel chain in Hong Kong, and this Tsuen Wan location is the most affordable. I chose it for my island-hopping trip to Hong Kong, finally fulfilling my wish to swim and hike at Half Moon Bay in Sai Kung. I booked a room with either a king or twin beds. On the first night, being a Saturday, there were more tourists, so the hotel didn't have any king rooms left and just pushed two twin beds together, which was a bit tight. On Sunday, I asked to switch rooms, and they accommodated me immediately, but there was no complimentary upgrade; upgrades cost extra. The room was quite small, barely enough space to open two carry-on suitcases. Some of the garden view rooms faced an old, dilapidated gray factory building, which wasn't very appealing. The rooms have been newly renovated, and each comes with an air purifier. If you don't have a converter, there are USB ports by the bed for charging. There's a TV with movie channels, which was a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the bathroom in the king room had a minor leak, but it dried up after the room was cleaned. The cleaning was thorough, and they replenished tissues and toilet paper. They'll change the sheets upon request. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, but you can buy them at Mannings, about a 10-minute walk away. They also don't provide bottled water, but there's a water dispenser in the hallway. Theoretically, tap water in Hong Kong is drinkable, but some buildings have old pipes, so filtering is a good idea. From 11 AM to 5 PM daily, the hotel offers self-serve complimentary drinks at the entrance; the Roselle tea and longan ginger tea were both delicious. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Tai Wo Hau MTR station and about a 20-minute walk from Kwai Hing MTR station, but there are plenty of buses nearby, and the double-decker bus offers great views. In April, the hotel's swimming pool wasn't open yet. The gym is open 24 hours and has some cardio equipment, 1-10kg dumbbells, a weight bench, and yoga mats, along with sweat towels. The hotel has a restaurant and a cafe. The front desk service was a bit average, but the concierge and restaurant staff were very good. There's also a shuttle bus to nearby shopping malls. The 7-Eleven at the entrance is open from 7 AM to 11 PM, which is convenient for buying things. However, the hotel doesn't have a microwave, so you can't heat food when the 7-Eleven is closed. There are many restaurants in the residential area, about a 10-minute walk away, offering choices like cha chaan tengs, beef noodles, and char siu rice, and most stay open late. Check-out is quite early at 11 AM. I called the front desk to request a 12 PM check-out, and they said it would cost an extra HKD 130. After check-out, luggage can be stored for free until midnight that day; after midnight, it's HKD 10 per piece per day. When I went to pick up my luggage, I saw a tour group from mainland China, which gives you an idea of the number of tourists the hotel hosts on weekends. Overall, I would still highly recommend it; it offers excellent value for money in Hong Kong!

Tsuen Wan Hong Kong|10.89km from city centre
I visited during the holidays, and a deposit wasn't required for check-in, which was great. The front desk staff, a very kind gentleman, even upgraded my room upon arrival, which I really appreciated. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the MTR station, but they do offer a shuttle bus service. Be aware that you might have to queue, and it can get quite crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading back to the hotel, so you might not get on the first bus. Tsuen Wan MTR station is about a 30-minute ride to Disneyland, which isn't too far, so it's a good option if you're looking for value for money. I spent all three days at Disneyland, so I didn't get a chance to use any of the hotel's other facilities. However, the room had a lovely view of the beach, which was a nice bonus. The room was well-equipped with amenities like toothpaste and toothbrushes. Just remember to bring your own UK-style plug adapter. Overall, I found the hotel to be excellent value for money.

The hotel has a luxurious, elegant, and high-end business style. The lobby is clean and refined with a premium feel. Check-in and check-out were very efficient, and the front desk staff were warm and polite. They communicated smoothly in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, offering meticulous and thoughtful service, making the entire experience comfortable. I stayed in a sea-view room with an absolutely stunning view. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct panoramic views of Victoria Harbour's beautiful seascape. During the day, I could take in the bustling city skyline, and at night, I enjoyed the dazzling nightscape—the ambiance was simply incredible. The room itself was spacious and bright, with a well-planned and tidy layout. The soft furnishings were simple yet upscale, and the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, ensuring a stable and comfortable sleep after a long day of travel or work. The room amenities were comprehensive and excellent. The high-speed internet worked flawlessly, and the toiletries were of high quality. The bathroom was clean and fresh with a dry/wet separation. The lighting and soundproofing were both very good, providing a quiet retreat despite being in a lively area; I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. The hotel's breakfast buffet offered a rich and diverse selection, with both Chinese and Western dishes available. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic. There was a wide variety of drinks, desserts, and special Hong Kong snacks, making for a very pleasant breakfast experience. The hotel also features recreational facilities like a swimming pool and fitness center, perfect for exercising and relaxing in your free time. The supporting services are truly complete. Overall, my stay was a perfect 10. The hardware facilities were high-end and well-maintained, the service was attentive and thoughtful, and the location was excellent, offering great convenience. It's particularly suitable for couples on vacation, families, or business travelers. It's my first choice when I come to Hong Kong. Both the value for money and the experience were exceptional. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong. Highly recommended!

Free upgrade to a premium room (with view): Very good, the city view was especially beautiful, and the front desk staff had excellent service. Hotel shuttle bus service: Very convenient, it can reach many major tourist attractions. Due to Hong Kong's plastic ban, free toothbrushes are not provided, but you can buy one for one dollar from a vending machine, so you don't need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The hotel is right next to Happy Valley, and it's not too far to walk to Causeway Bay, so the overall location is very good.

We checked in at the hotel and expected the room to feel clean and comfortable. However, we were met by a room that didn't feel very clean. The wallpaper on the looked a bit loose in the seems, color was coming off on the edge of the ceilings and the carpet on the floor had some visible dark spots/stains. The bathroom floor also had dark stains/spots and the shower was pretty hard to operate as it was a bit difficult to turn off. The bathroom sink seemed a little clogged as water ran down very slowly. We also noticed some hairs on the floor of the bedroom that wasn't ours. We were three people sharing a room and it got a little cramped. Two is better to not feel like it's too small. We paid around ~1020 HKD per night for the room which felt a bit expensive considering the condition the room was in. The location was great though and the staff was nice. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the metro and travelling around the city is easy. It is also close to restaurants, shopping and convenience stores. I would recommend staying here if you don't mind your room potentially being a little bit unclean or at least feel that way.

The shower curtain in the bathroom needs attention to hygiene. It's not a wet/dry separation which isn't ideal for seniors or children. However, for a Hong Kong hotel, the space is quite large, and there's a pool. The beds, though, definitely need an upgrade. All toiletries have to be purchased, which I assume is for environmental reasons or perhaps because they host a lot of tour groups. Overall, the service attitude is pretty good.

I had a very enjoyable stay and wanted to recognise the excellent staff who made it so welcoming. Anson was outstanding — very professional, friendly, and spoke excellent English. He went above and beyond, including kindly paying for a drink for me when needed and trusting me to reimburse him later, which I greatly appreciated. Ivy was also very helpful and pleasant. While her English was more limited, she communicated well enough to assist me and was always friendly and welcoming. The male trainee staff member was likewise friendly, professional, and spoke good English. All three were consistently warm, welcoming, and a real credit to the hotel. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel genuinely welcome, offered helpful suggestions, explained everything clearly, gave me a choice of beds, and even upgraded me to a harbour view room, which was a lovely touch. The room itself was excellent — comfortable, with a great bed, and one of the best hotel showers I’ve had, with strong water pressure and very hot water. The hotel is also very well located, within easy walking distance of the MTR, buses, and plenty of food options, which made getting around very convenient. Their warmth, professionalism, and willingness to help made my stay much more enjoyable. I would happily stay here again. Thank you for such excellent hospitality 😀

Mong Kok Hong Kong|0.49km from city centre
This was my first time staying at Metropark Hotel Mongkok, and initially, I was a little nervous. But after checking in, it completely exceeded my expectations. First, the transportation is very convenient. I took the A21 airport bus directly to the hotel. The airport bus stop is a bit of a walk, but the hotel is very close to Prince Edward MTR station on the Tsuen Wan line, making it super easy to get to Tsim Sha Tsui and Central. Second, there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The Harbour Restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel is excellent, especially the dim sum for breakfast – it's really good and affordable. There are also many cha chaan tengs (tea restaurants) around the hotel, like Yuen Long Bing Sutt and Cafe de Coral, which are very convenient and reasonably priced. I also spotted a Hunan restaurant called 'Xiang Ye' which looked good, with dishes averaging around 69 HKD, which is acceptable. Shopping nearby is also easy. Third, the hotel service was good. It wasn't like some online reviews that claimed they weren't welcoming to mainland guests; I found it quite pleasant. I didn't find the room soundproofing to be an issue, despite what some rumors say. Perhaps it's because their standard rooms used to be suites that were converted, with a locked door in between. I wasn't bothered by any noise this time. The hotel provides power adapters, which was very convenient. I wish I had known – I wouldn't have bought one [facepalm emoji]. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly acceptable, and the bathroom setup is just right. The air conditioning also worked well. Overall, while it's not a luxury hotel, for around 400+ HKD during the off-season, it's absolutely fantastic value for money. All my friends agreed it was a great choice.

The clean room, reasonable price, and speedy front desk service were the reasons I chose this hotel. They also offer a shuttle bus service to West Kowloon and Tsim Sha Tsui, which is convenient for sightseeing. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

We been staying at this hotel on at least two previous occasions! On the whole, we had not been disappointed! The facilities are good but mostly dated. The cleanliness is generally quite good standards. The staff are very helpful and pleasant; the services are prompt and responsive. The location is unquestionably excellent. It is closed to all public amenities, eateries, department stores and public transport. The tram stops are right in the front of the hotel! We enjoy the great deal for being a “long stay”. Apart from getting a good price, we received a fresh fruit plate, free drinks in the fridge, daily free soup and desert treats and one off free laundry. And the best of all is the free airport shuttle bus dropping us back to the airport!!! Anyway we be sure to go back again!!

The hotel's location was excellent for this stay. The overall environment was clean and quiet, and the lobby and public areas were tastefully decorated in a simple, elegant style. The room layout was well-designed, and basic amenities were complete, although some rooms had minor issues like aging facilities and dim lighting. The front desk service was professional, and check-in was quick. Housekeeping was prompt, and the staff were polite and well-mannered, responding promptly to reasonable guest requests. Overall, the hotel provided good service, a comfortable environment, and facilities that met daily accommodation needs.

Convenient location with clean rooms and a great sea view. Breakfast was good, though the room was a bit small. It's super close to the convention center, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, including excellent dessert shops and beef brisket noodles! I'm bummed I didn't get to try the famous char siu place that always has a queue. 😛

The hotel is very close to Harbour City and the subway is super convenient. Plus, there's a direct bus (route 25) to the airport, making transportation a breeze. We were given a room on the lowest floor, so there wasn't much of a view, but being able to check out late at 1 PM was a nice perk. The breakfast spread was extensive, though nothing particularly stood out. However, it was good for getting your fill of vegetables and fruits. The bathroom was almost a wet/dry separation, which was quite practical. The room size isn't small by Hong Kong standards. There was no strange smell in the room, but the duvet felt slightly damp. Overall, it's pretty good value for money.

We stayed in a sea-view room on a lower floor, the 7th, but the view was still decent, especially nice at night. I found the hotel's breakfast buffet quite ordinary; there weren't many dishes that suited my taste. I'd recommend eating out or trying the Shang Palace downstairs instead. Shang Palace was truly amazing, the best meal we had during our trip to Hong Kong. It's rare to find a place where every dish and dim sum is so good. Remember to make a reservation in advance! Our room was cleaned twice daily, and we received three coffee capsules each day. We bought our own bottled water from a supermarket and refilled the dispenser, but the hotel staff kindly topped up our other water supplies every time they cleaned. At check-in, there were two lines. The other line was giving out small gifts (in a white canvas bag) to children, but we didn't receive one. My child noticed and asked about it, but I didn't press the issue. I hope they can treat all guests equally in the future. The hotel lobby bar serves 'tong sui' (sweet soup) from 6:30 PM to midnight, and it was delicious! Be aware that each disposable toiletry item in the bathroom costs 1.00. The hotel's location is excellent; there's an escalator directly from the ground floor lobby that takes you up to a footbridge leading straight to Victoria Harbour. It was lovely for morning strolls and runs.

I spent half a month researching almost every 4-star and above hotel in Hong Kong with a rating of 4.4 or higher. I initially booked a sea view suite at another hotel but changed to this one. It's incredibly convenient – as soon as you get off the ferry in Hong Kong, you're right at the hotel lobby. I checked in before the official check-in time, and the front desk staff were very friendly. I was able to fully check in after 3 PM, and the process took only ten minutes. The room was, as expected, small, located on the eighth floor in a corner, but it was reasonably clean. I brought my own travel bedding set, so I felt comfortable sleeping. The soundproofing was average; being next to the road, I heard motorcycles roaring by a few times at night. The air conditioning was quite loud, but after turning up the temperature and setting it to auto-fan speed, it was generally quiet. Disposable toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers were provided, and the shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, and hairdryer were all available. The hot water for the shower was decent. The hotel's platform leads directly to Kowloon Park. Overall, it was better than I expected.
