## Environment: The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. It's very close to Victoria Harbour, and walking to Tsim Sha Tsui East and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations is also very convenient. I'm not sure if I got an upgraded room type, but my room even had a walk-in closet. ## Service: The hotel room essentially met all my requirements. I chose a twin room this time because the king-size rooms were smoking rooms. Our room was on a higher floor, close to the elevator yet still quiet, and we could see a partial view of Victoria Harbour from outside. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful; they would proactively offer help whenever they saw us. ## Hygiene and Facilities: The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. All the amenities are quite new and very clean, though the facilities themselves are relatively classic/retro. ## Breakfast: Breakfast was a mix of Western and Cantonese cuisine. The variety of dishes was relatively rich, and the Cantonese dim sum was delicious. They offered freshly cooked pork rib or fish ball noodles/vermicelli, and the most thoughtful part was being able to add as much noodles or vermicelli as you wanted.

Mong Kok Hong Kong|0.73km from city centre
The hotel is conveniently located near Moko Mall, offering plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The only downside is its direct connection only to the East Rail Line, which is a bit far from the Tsuen Wan Line (the main subway line connecting to Mong Kok and Jordan), requiring a ten-minute walk. The hotel facilities are excellent; it completely subverts the usual 'pigeon cage' impression of Hong Kong hotels with its surprisingly spacious rooms. It even has two double beds, and the lobby is also very expansive. If you're traveling as a group of four, this hotel offers great value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at The Royal Garden. We were kindly upgraded on arrival, and the room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable with a lovely view. One of the highlights was having access to the Club Lounge — the service there was excellent and the evening drinks and snacks made it a great place to relax after a day out in Hong Kong. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to the harbour and plenty of shops and restaurants. All of the staff we encountered were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong.

Simple hotel with comfort bed. It is convenient to go every where at Kowloon. Great price and the room is quiet and we had good night sleep for early morning to get high speed train. Found out outside can get 26 mini bus to there. Only no shelf for suitcase or anything to put on the table. Lucky we only have a small bag. Shower area is very small. Sink is in the bedroom very unusual design. The lift and lobby in golden colour. I liked the chairs in lobby. I feel very comfortable to sit on. But no plastic bag for rubbish bin. The room is ok but not very clean.

Tsim Sha Tsui and Kowloon West Hong Kong|2.14km from city centre
The room was fantastic! I originally booked this hotel because of its proximity to my destination, and when I was choosing a room, I saw options for both new and old rooms. I decisively went for a newly renovated one, even though it was a bit pricier. Thankfully, I booked in advance, so the discounted price was still good. Before checking in, I read some reviews saying the rooms were old and the facilities mediocre, which made me quite worried. But when I got to the room, I was completely blown away! The hotel tried its best to accommodate my requests, and the service was excellent. The room was so clean and bright, and there was absolutely no strange odor from the renovation, making me feel incredibly comfortable the moment I stepped inside. The space in the room was cleverly utilized, with a bench, chairs, and a long table. The two 1-meter single beds were larger than I expected and very comfortable! As for chargers, the hotel provides travel adapters, and there's a Chinese-style socket in the bathroom. Plus, there's magnetic charging on the bedside table – super thoughtful! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel is surrounded by eateries, convenience stores, Lung Heung Lau (Lotus Seed Paste Buns), Japanese ramen shops, Lung Fung Pharmacy, souvenir shops, bookstores, Cafe de Coral, BBQ meat shops, etc. There's also The ONE shopping mall nearby, which covers all your needs. The hotel is only a few hundred meters from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit B2, just a few minutes' walk – very convenient. From Austin Station (West Kowloon), it's just one stop to East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, then you can walk within the station for 13 minutes to Tsim Sha Tsui Exit B, which is quick and easy! I absolutely loved and was satisfied with this booking and stay experience... I'll definitely come back again and recommend it to my friends. Thanks to the hotel staff for the wonderful service during our trip to Hong Kong.

The room was excellent, especially considering how tiny spaces usually are in Hong Kong; it was relatively spacious, and we even got an upgrade! The location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. It's right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, about a 10-minute walk from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. Downstairs, there are tons of shops and restaurants, and the local tea restaurant offered great value for money. All in all, a really good stay. A special shout-out to the lady at the concierge desk – she was incredibly kind and warm, even helping us with our luggage! 🧳

Great location. The room was small, but perfectly adequate for a one-night stay. It was clean and hygienic, with no strange smells. We stayed at this hotel for 8 days, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. On our first day, I bought a SIM card from 7-Eleven and struggled to set it up because it was in Chinese. One of the staff members, Jimmy Lee, kindly took the initiative to help me set it up — thank you so much, Jimmy! My parents loved the atmosphere, and they especially enjoyed the breakfast. The breakfast menu changed daily, offering a nice variety of choices. All the staff — from reception and kitchen to housekeeping — were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our housekeeper always ensured the room was clean and tidy. On our last day, we had a late flight after checking out. The hotel team kept our luggage safe, and Wai Tse was extremely helpful with the check-out process. He also arranged a taxi for us and assisted us until we left. I will definitely stay here again in the future, and I have already recommended this hotel to my family and friends.

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. We really enjoyed our Hongkong trip because of this hotel's convenient location. We were able to shop, eat at good restaurants, and go on different adventures bec of the nearby train station. The K11 Art Mall is right across its entrance on Mody Road. The rooms were just right for 2 persons. The toiletries were complete and free except the toothbrush and shower cap which was part of the environment policy. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were even classified as soft or firm. There's also a water purifier which saved us from buying water at the convenience stores. We will stay here again if we return to Hongkong. Thank you Holiday Inn.

Absolutely fantastic. A surprise upgrade got us so addicted that we have to book that huge room again. Was it a marketing strategy? But it worked. We loved the view, by day and by night. The room was like 1000sqft with washing machine, dishes etc. Extra toilet was nice. Didn't use the oven but was a nice touch. The cleaning lady was alway ready to assist. Be careful!!!! Our experience with Empire Hotel was very unsatisfactory. We booked the hotel thinking that its going to be like any other 4-star hotel, as the price per night was similar to others in the area. It turned out, that this is hotel was 4-stars, maybe 20 years ago. The furniture and all room equipment looks like something I’d expect to find in a cheap student rental. Destroyed, quickly fixed with tape or paint (lol), siliconed windows to provide “isolation”, neighbors that you can hear even when they’re not particularly loud. Stained carpets, no amenities like drinkable WATER! We were shocked. No toothpaste or toothbrush in case you forget yours. In our room even fridge was dirty, not to mention the state of shower or ventilation. I would rank this hotel 2-stars. If you’re a fan of white noise this hotel is for you. If not, avoid their AC at all cost! I dont know how people stay there during summer, but its definitely not normal to feel like there’s a vacuum cleaner on next to you. We complained to the staff and were told that all rooms are the same. Trip.com unfortunately was not able to help us with relocation… second great story for another time. We were finally moved to a “better room” just to find out that indeed “all rooms are the same”. We also got a couch there that didnt even stay put together… I dont want to know how much people pay for that “premium” room… Honestly, there are many better hotels in the neighborhood, give them a chance instead of staying here. Good luck!

The A21 airport bus stops right outside, and Prince Edward Station is just steps away. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and breakfast options are easily accessible. The staff were great; all my requests were met. If a queen-sized bed room was available, I was given one. They even noticed my birth date from my ID, wished me a happy birthday, and offered a small souvenir – very thoughtful details. The hotel doesn't provide water or disposable amenities, but it's easy to buy them downstairs. The hotel is super close to West Kowloon Station. Just take escalator from Austin Exit F, then turn right and walk straight for about 100 meters from Exit 2, and you're there. It's really convenient for getting around; you can even walk to Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei. Disneyland is about a 50-minute subway ride away. I was originally worried the hotel would be too old and run-down, but upon checking in, it was much better than I expected. Even though it's old, the room is spacious! That's a rare find in space-constrained Hong Kong. The hotel doesn't provide drinking water, so you'll need to boil your own or buy it from the 7-Eleven downstairs. A clean hotel with a good view of the city across the river/sea. The only down side is that if we wanted amenities we have to buy it from a vending machine on the same floor that only accepts Alipay, WeChat and octopus. We are not from the mainland and just arrived in Hong Kong so we cannot buy anything from it. By amenities, I mean stuff like mineral water, toothbrush. Staff comes to clean everysay at about 10am and room was spacious. Did not get food from the hotel so will not be commenting on that. The hotel is a bit far from the train station but there is a bus stop about 1 min way in front of the hotel that can take us to the train station. It’s not quiet room, always heard the sound once the other guests walking by, dragging their bags, chatting, or even while the housekeeper is cleaning because there is a gap between the door and the floor, the air purifier smells of cigarette smoke although there is a message no smoking there is the and there is no free water. The advantage is the good location and the housekeepers are friendly.
