Guest UserThe location is excellent, the old town is within a few steps, and the train station is within walking distance. The interior of the hotel combines tradition and modernity. The swimming pool on the lower floor of the lobby is a highlight of the hotel, with moderate water temperature and a quiet environment. The hotel is affiliated with Marriott Group and the service is in place. After the guests check in, the front desk of the hotel must be praised by the non-luggage service staff accompanying the room. The service has not been experienced by the domestic five-star hotel. Breakfast Western style, small and exquisite environment, the only regret is that there is no Asian variety.

AMYCHAU771It's not in the city center, but there's a large supermarket nearby. The parking lot is large but chargeable. Breakfast is included. If you're going to Caen, it's a decent place to stay, but Caen is a rather ordinary city, so it's optional. The hotel itself is relatively new, but the facilities are basic.

We were welcomed at the reception with courtesy, our room was ready 1.5h before check-in.
The hotel offers a free parking, but with a free charger. 15 minutes walk from the very comfortable centre.

If you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley.
Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!!
We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us.
Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady.
Just go. Dont hesitate.

Not much to say … only good stuff!
Nice welcome at reception when we checked in earlier than planned. We got touristic advice to go around and they kept our big suitcases. We unfortunately didn’t get parking as they were full.. all reserved (NB: trip.com never discussed that we had to book the parking, this is something Accor and Trip.com should discuss about as this is now our 2nd encounter of this problem…. Coming from Malaysia and renting a car, this is not helping… we had no idea we had to reserve parking)
The bedroom was very nice, pretty balcony but small bathroom… especially given the placement of the toilet…. lol. But never mind. Nice deck of the bedroom and the hotel too… themed on Christian Dior and fashion, we liked that ☺️
Last the breakfast and its location: beautiful. The view of the sea is really good, the furniture is nicely chosen, and the food is good. First time I see a « make your sunny side up eggs yourself » set in a hotel, which was cool.

Guest UserThe hotel is very nice and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is quite well located: there's public transport nearby (buses, trams, trains, etc.). There's also a shopping center a 7-minute walk away. The beach is a bit far (about a 30-minute walk), but since we didn't have a car, we were able to rent bicycles and electric scooters from the city.

Very good, there are restaurants and supermarkets around, go to several cathedrals for ten minutes. But because in the old city, it belongs to the pedestrian area, parking needs to consult the hotel in advance to enter. There is a lift pier at the entrance of the pedestrian area. You have to call the hotel to ask for the authorization code. You can enter after entering.

This was one of the cities on our trip to France. The hotel had a wonderful location, a comfortable room, and was clean.
The deposit couldn't be paid in cash, only by card.

cooper mossesFeels very much like a student hotel. Staff rude slow and useless. Very basic trying to sell as designer. Long time since I stayed anywhere with no water in room. Didn't even replace paper cups when they did service the room. No garden as shown in the Google photos. No parking. Very unhelpful as free off road parking is 4 mins away. Entirely unpleasant experience. Not sure who they are aiming this at but not Deauville visitors. The ground floor is full of dweebs sitting around using free wifi.

Mercure by Accor Group is as good as always. It is definitely the most cost-effective hotel in France. It is located in the center of Rouen, with convenient transportation and life, good facilities and good service. I recommend it to everyone.
