Excellent hotel! I originally planned to stay at a traditional onsen hotel in Beppu, but I stumbled upon this one, saw great reviews, and decided to give it a try. I was extremely satisfied! The breakfast was the most lavish and delicious I had during my 9-day trip to Japan. It was absolutely divine!
In the evenings, complimentary welcome drinks are offered (alcoholic beverages incur a 1000 yen charge). You can borrow yukata from the front desk. There's a large public bath on the 14th floor, and the rooftop features a terrace pool and a bar, offering stunning night views of Beppu Tower, perfect for photos. Just note, the pool is quite shallow and not really suitable for serious swimmers.
The bathroom layout is well-designed with a separate wet and dry area, and the shower space is very spacious.
Its prime location is another major plus, just a 10-minute walk to JR Beppu Station.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beppu!
An absolutely fantastic onsen ryokan with a superb, prime beachfront location. It was the most affordable onsen ryokan I booked for this trip, yet it turned out to be the most delightful surprise. The tall gentleman at the front desk provided absolutely outstanding service! He was so warm and friendly, and his sincerity truly shone through. Much appreciated! Definitely make sure to reserve the private open-air onsen on the 6th floor. Soaking in the onsen while watching the sunset is such a blissful experience. The room we booked also came with its own private onsen. It offers incredible value for money. All the staff members were incredibly polite, and the breakfast was delicious too! I absolutely adore Beppu city!
The hotel exceeded our expectations! After arriving at the hotel, we paid a little extra to upgrade to a 46-square-meter sea view room, which is quite luxurious in Japan. The entire hotel is very large, and the service staff are also very enthusiastic. It can be said that if the whole family travels, they can spend a whole day in it. We booked the Sora-kan, and the Sora-yu on the top floor is quite comfortable and not crowded. The hotel's buffet is very rich, and the amusement center is also very interesting. I thought the light show might be a bit rustic, but I didn't expect it to be a surprise. It's simply a low-end Disney 😀. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Beppu!
Spacious room, great service, staff is very friendly. Highly recommend if you visit oitA, breakfast is great and delicious , only 1000 yen for customer, car park is the best.
We changed room type when we got to the hotel (from Seaside Maisonette to one of the Tower apartments) and this was seamlessly offered to us by the night staff. Service is top notch. Great for families. The food is wonderful and there is private onsen in every single room.
Highly recommend for families of up to 4 persons to stay in the tower apartments. They are very new and well furnished.

This hotel was truly the highlight of my trip to Japan. Nestled on the hillside, the views from the window are breathtaking, especially from the infinity pool where you can overlook most of Beppu. It gives you a sense of serene detachment from the urban clamor, as if you're uniquely clear-headed amidst a busy world. During our stay, there were occasional showers, and after the rain, the mountains would often become shrouded in mist, making the landscape incredibly dynamic – sometimes clear and picturesque, other times beautifully hazy and ethereal.
The hotel's hot springs (onsen) are another major feature. The male and female baths are separate, ensuring privacy, and each has its own outdoor bath. What's more, the male and female sections switch over daily, so if you stay two nights, you get to experience both unique bath areas. The hotel also provides guests with traditional Japanese yukata robes and geta (wooden clogs).
Regarding transportation, since the hotel is on a hillside, they offer a shuttle bus. However, it's small with limited seating, so reservations are essential. What's fantastic is that if you can't reserve a spot, the hotel *provides a taxi free of charge*. Let me emphasize that: free, free, free! So, the only potential inconvenience of staying here is perfectly addressed.
While the standard breakfast selection is decent, they also have a 'hidden menu' – definitely ask for it!
Triple room for a family of four.
The hot spring is only an indoor bath, but it's great value for money.
I recommend not ordering breakfast, but looking for a place that serves breakfast instead!
The room was very small, the bathroom steps were too high, the breakfast was simple but it felt very delicate.
The breakfast time ended too early and the Japanese time ended at 9 o'clock. One day, the lady didn't wake up. I asked the front desk if I could bring two small breads. I was rejected... I couldn't accept it! ! ! This service is worse than hotels in the mainland.
Hotel Trip.com is 2 stars, very accurate, rural express hotel. There is a 24-hour big M around, there is a supermarket opposite the big M, remember! You can cash, you can't swipe your card and IC card.
Living here is mainly because it is very convenient to take the baby to Sanliou Harmony Paradise.
Finally, the bus here must inform the driver where you want to get off, or he keeps, it is easy to cross the station without looking at the map. This is my experience from Oita Airport by airport bus. Remember!
It's a capsule hotel. The only downside was the lack of a proper door separating the restrooms from the sleeping capsules, making it easy to be woken up. However, the staff were incredibly thorough and helpful when explaining all the necessary information for the stay.
