The second time I went there, Shuangquan Hotel was far better than Xiangyang Qiqu Hotel in terms of environment, facilities and service. It was a completely different experience. The service in all aspects was very considerate, and the hotel was very beautiful. There were moss landscapes and green plants everywhere, which was full of creativity. When I was dining in the hotel lobby, the front desk lady also brought mineral water! ! The small details were all in place! ! It was much more comfortable than the hotel I stayed in Xiangyang. I regretted my last trip. I still want to stay in this hotel three or four times! ! But there are some small suggestions. Can I add a small bed to the courtyard pool room? The small bed added later was really uncomfortable to sleep on. It was not comfortable at all. Sleeping was the most important thing. It should be improved. The bed in the parent-child twin room was too small. It was too easy to fall off when sleeping with one big and one small. It was not easy to merge them. One should be larger and one smaller, which would be more reasonable! !

This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images! We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it! The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch. Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute. To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats. What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

Very good experience. I just passed by Yingshan and saw a hot spring sign on the highway. I was tired from driving and just wanted to find a hot spring hotel to stay for one night. I didn't expect that after checking in, the front desk lady upgraded the room type. Seeing that I brought children, she gave me a small gift and introduced the local specialties very carefully. There was no one in the hot spring children's playground area. When I told the child that the playground was not open because there was no one, the service staff immediately turned on the power and opened the children's playground for the three of us. The child was very happy. At 5 pm, I wanted to take some photos of the outdoor hot spring at night for the child, so I asked the service staff when to turn on the lights. I was told that it was 6:30, but then the lights in the outdoor hot spring area were all lit up immediately. I was very moved. The big brother at the counter who rented the swimming ring was very enthusiastic and inflated our own swimming ring for free. The breakfast was also very rich. It was a very unexpected and touching night. If it weren't for the time, I would definitely stay for another day.

The first time I went to Jiayu, I chose this four-star hotel. I chose the little yellow man-themed parent-child room, which is only 300 yuan, which is very cost-effective! The room is warmly furnished and the size is suitable. It is no problem to sleep a family of four with two beds! At that time, when I checked in, I found that there was plush on the bed and called the front desk. They immediately sent someone to replace it. The attitude was correct and enthusiastic, and I didn't feel impatient at all. It's great! I will choose this one next time

A truly unexpected trip! First, I want to praise the B&B's ambiance and unique character. The scenery is truly unique! Unlike other hotels that are somewhat commercialized or located close to the city, this one is nestled in a valley nestled in the mountains, yet offers breathtaking views that surpass most. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, you can hear the chirping of birds and insects, and the vast expanse of greenery is breathtakingly refreshing. It was especially breathtaking that evening, and when I woke up, the mountaintops were shrouded in mist, giving me the distinct feeling of ”after the rain, the autumn weather arrives late in the mountains.” Second, I want to praise the food. I didn't have high expectations, thinking it was in the wilderness, but the food was on par with staycations in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai (perhaps because I'm from Hubei, so I'm more accustomed to the local flavors). The spicy and sour lotus stems we ordered were very appetizing, and the white tofu was a pleasant surprise. I thought it would be bland, but it was bursting with bean fragrance. Unfortunately, because the hotel is located in the mountains, the ingredients need to be transported in daily, so we had to order a day in advance. By the time we were satisfied and wanted more, it was too late. If possible, it would be helpful to improve the food service. Breakfast was a semi-buffet, and we ordered dumplings and hot and sour beef noodles. The main dishes were quite delicious, but the dumplings were a bit small. That's okay, though; in addition to the main dishes, they also came with steamed buns, dumplings, corn, and self-service toast and fruit, so you could still fill up without any problems. Perhaps due to the hotel's mountainside location, the amenities are somewhat lacking. The pool isn't heated, and there aren't any nearby restrooms, making it a bit inconvenient to enjoy the water. The hot tub and spa weren't open either. While the facilities are there, they seem somewhat limited. I'm not raising these shortcomings to express dissatisfaction, but rather to sincerely hope that this place can be better. I understand that achieving this level of quality amidst the mountains is truly difficult. Nothing is perfect. When I sip coffee amidst the greenery on a leisurely afternoon, when I listen to my favorite music and gaze at the distant mountains on a drizzling evening, when I wake lazily to the gentle chirping of birds and the morning mist, what more could I ask for in such a beautiful setting? I can't ask for a mountain retreat with a spa comparable to that of Thailand, nor can I ask for a Zen poetry retreat with a feast to match the splendor of the city. This view, this place, is more than enough. I believe that one morning in the future, I will still recall the morning mist here, accompanied by long-lasting, peaceful memories. Furthermore, our housekeeper, Zhang Qian, was very helpful and able to answer some seemingly challenging questions. It was clear that she knew the place well and was dedicated to her work, which is rare in a place like Hubei, where tempers can be quite challenging. The breakfast waitress was also very dedicated, responsible for cleaning and serving the food, and she deserves praise as well. The hotel's various services are well-attended, and the entire staff works hard.

The hotel is surrounded by mountains and water, and the environment is very good. Opposite is Qianshan Forest Park, where the forest landscape design is unique and novel. I personally feel very comfortable. I arrived at the hotel that day and took my family to visit Qianshan in the afternoon. It was very pleasant. In the evening, I watched the light and shadow show near the surrounding Moon Bay. It is still a good choice to go out for a leisure vacation with your family. The hotel room has been renovated and there are traces of renovation, but the towels, sheets and quilt covers in the room are very clean and soft.

This time I took my family on a self-driving tour and experienced it. I have to say that this one is unexpectedly good! It is an absolute treasure homestay! First of all, the appearance of the hotel is very high-end, the room design is very beautiful, and there are many details full of design sense. I love it! Secondly, the room is very clean and comfortable, and the bed is big enough, so the children and the elderly have a good rest. The boss is very warm and friendly. Since we arrived in the early morning and the child was already asleep, the boss went out to greet us and gave us the room card so that we don’t worry, settle the child first and then come down to check in. It’s very considerate! The next day, we will be picked up and dropped off at Wudang Mountain Scenic Area for free. We are very careful to do everything for us, and we are moved! Just close your eyes and go! This is definitely the first choice for travel! 👍

This stay at Maili Mountain Homestay completely exceeded expectations! The B&B is located near the Enshi Grand Canyon Scenic Area, only a few minutes' drive from the visitor center. The owner kindly provides free pick-up and drop-off service, which is especially convenient for free-travel tourists. The room is simple in design and full of mountain style. The floor-to-ceiling windows face the cliffs of the canyon. When you lie in bed and open the curtains in the morning, you can see the wonder of clouds and mist, as if you are in fairyland. The room is fully equipped with a smart toilet, central air-conditioning system, and projector. The mattress is soft and comfortable, and we are instantly healed after a tiring day. The boss was warm and thoughtful. He not only helped plan the tour route, but also took the initiative to pick us up and drop us off at the scenic spot. The food at the B&B is even better! The breakfast was very filling and had a lot of variety. Considering that northerners love to eat pasta, they gave each of us an extra bowl, which was super warm and thoughtful! ! ! For dinner, I tried the boss's recommended dishes: stewed chicken with morels and fried bamboo shoots with bacon. The ingredients were fresh, the taste was authentic, and the price was affordable. The homestay has a viewing terrace and a tea room. In the evening, you can brew a pot of Enshi Yulu, sit on the terrace, look up and see the starry sky, completely away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Knowing that we wanted to explore the canyon before leaving, the boss gave us a few bottles of water when we checked out. How thoughtful! Whether it is the geographical location, accommodation quality or humanistic services, they are all super good! I highly recommend this to friends who plan to visit Enshi Grand Canyon. I will definitely come again next time!

I drove from Wuhan with my family of 5 on the weekend and booked a villa with its own bathing pool in Poxin Tangyuan. When we arrived at the destination, I just wanted to say that this hotel is really suitable for a family self-driving trip. It only takes less than 2 hours to drive from Wuhan. The whole journey is almost on the expressway, and you will arrive soon after getting off the expressway. The hotel is very new, and the staff's service attitude is also very good. Since I arrived early and it was not check-in time yet, I had a full breakfast, so I didn't really feel like having lunch at noon, so I sat and rested in the lobby. The staff came over from time to time to explain the progress of the room cleaning and apologized all the time, which made me feel embarrassed. The front desk also specially gave my daughter a small gift of stickers, and she liked it very much. To be precise, Poxin Tangyuan is a small detached house with two bedrooms and one living room, a yard at the front and back, and a private bath. You can bathe without leaving home, so our family did not go to the public bathing pool. And the most nice thing is that the private hot water in the room has no time limit, which is very impressive! The water output is also very large, and a pool of water can be filled in about half an hour. The temperature is also very high, so you don't have to worry about it getting cold after a while. (I have stayed in a garden room with a private bath in a hot spring hotel in Chibi before, but the hot water supply is only available for 2-3 hours a day. This comparison seems too stingy) The bathroom was kept very clean, and a fruit plate was offered as a gift. There was also a mahjong machine in the room, and grandpa had a great time playing with the children. It only takes 5-10 minutes to drive to the street to eat. It is very close and convenient to a famous duck restaurant in Jingshan. I will definitely recommend it to my relatives and friends, and will come again when the weather gets cold in winter!
