Hot Springs Hotels in Hunan, China

We're from Shaanxi and traveled with our kids, and it was a really great experience. The owners were so welcoming and even offered pick-up and drop-off services. Their attention to detail was exceptional and heartwarming – they even helped us carry our luggage directly into the room. Plus, there's a huge pool where the kids could splash around to their heart's content. When we left, they even gave our children a thoughtful little gift. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this hotel with the 'unlimited hot spring access' package, perfect for a family trip. Even in the middle of summer, the hot springs weren't too hot. Facilities: The hotel is very new, rooms are spacious, and soundproofing is excellent, making it very quiet. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: The hotel is nestled on a mountain, so the air is fresh. There's a convenient path behind the hotel that leads directly into the scenic area. The uphill walk was quite a workout though, really tested my cardio! Early in the morning, I went for a run in the ancient town alone, and it was absolutely beautiful! Service: The service was the highlight. The front desk staff gave us lots of complimentary drinks. Breakfast was also very elaborate. We had kids with us who weren't eating well, so the hotel even packed some small pastries for us to take away.

Because of the heavy snow on the 22nd, we reserved the whole place on the 21st. It was really amazing. Every scene was amazing, mainly because the dogs were so well-behaved. Plus it was snowing, it was so atmospheric. If you come here in the summer, you can call a few friends or have a company meeting. Anyway, we will come again next time. Knowing it was my birthday, she specially decorated the place and sent champagne 🍾️. She was very enthusiastic. The auntie who cooked was also very nice. She heated up the food for us the next day for fear of waste. It was a warm and cozy stay!

The room was tiny, and the facilities felt more like a 3-star hotel. The mattress was incredibly soft; after just one night, my back was aching. The bed frame was even worse – I was afraid to even turn over because it made such a loud creaking noise. It was really disturbing at night. Even a slight movement would make the mattress shake violently, waking up anyone next to me. Honestly, this is the worst bed I've ever experienced in any hotel. For a supposed five-star establishment, the hardware really needs an upgrade.

We spent four days at this hotel and had an amazing experience. Located in the mountains, the hotel offers breathtaking views and a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. The room was modern, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting us in planning our trip to the Avatar Mountains. The breakfasts were excellent, and the owner offered to drive us to a lovely local cafe that served delicious and affordable dinners. The hotel is conveniently located near the South Gate of the Forest Park, and the owner kindly drove us there as well. Taxis to other attractions in the area are inexpensive and easy to find, making it convenient to explore the region. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit this area.

I came to this treasure hotel on the last day of the May Day holiday. It was really full of surprises. The beautiful sisters at the front desk of the hotel provided excellent and thoughtful service! Every time I passed by, I was proactive and greeted with a sweet smile. The breakfast dishes were also very rich! In summary, this is a very suitable hotel for vacation 🏖️Lie down, come here, you can get rid of all the class smell! The scenery is beautiful and pleasant, the air is fresh, the whole resort is a natural oxygen bar, the body and mind are relaxed, you can leisurely watch the sunrise and sunset in the beautiful Yunpan Mountain 🌅 The scenery is amazing! The SPA recommended by the beautiful sister at the front desk is also very good, professional Thai massage ~ and it is also a Thai technician, super satisfactory stay experience

Location: Perfectly situated in Zhangjiajie city, less than a 15-minute drive from the airport. It's also very close to Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie Museum, Pugang Temple, and the largest nearby mall, all within walking distance. There are restaurants nearby too. Getting around is super convenient! Environment and Facilities: The room is spacious and equipped with an 'Xiaodu' smart assistant to control curtains, the projector, lights, and more. The room door has a password lock, so no worries about forgetting your key card. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. There's a space in front of the reception for breakfast, complete with a coffee machine. The guesthouse also has a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The only minor drawback was that on the first day, I noticed another property nearby was undergoing renovation. Only one elevator was working at the time and it was often occupied, leading to longer waits. This issue was resolved on the second day when both elevators were available. Despite the nearby renovation, I didn't experience any noise problems. You might hear some construction noise at certain times during the day, but it's manageable – I was out exploring during the day, so it didn't affect me much. Nights were very quiet. The guesthouse seems relatively new, as all the facilities are modern. Cleanliness: Clean and hygienic. I stayed for two nights, and on the second day, the staff asked if I needed cleaning or replenishment of supplies. Service: Absolutely fantastic!!! I had ordered several packages before arriving, and the young man at the guesthouse kindly helped me retrieve them multiple times – a huge thank you! Also, the young man was incredibly warm and chatty. When my taxi arrived downstairs, he came to the building entrance to meet me and helped carry my luggage upstairs. After check-in, he even made us coffee and tea, accompanied by some biscuits. I met the owner's wife in the evening, and she was also very friendly and engaging. Each night, a complimentary sweet soup was provided as a late-night snack for each guest. Breakfast was also very varied and delicious. Overall, the guesthouse left a wonderful impression.

Lovely hotel! The owners are super nice and friendly, and their cooking was delicious! The views are unbeatable and there are adorable kittens on the property as well. We got upgraded rooms since we went when it wasn’t too busy, and the room was beautiful. Only downside to being in the mountains is the bugs, but that’s kinda of hard to avoid given the climate and location. Also, since it’s up the mountain, it can be a little difficult for DiDi drivers to get to, but we had no problem (a trip from the train station was about 10-15 usd / 70-100 rmb). Overall would recommend (especially their food!).

Huatian Hot Spring Center (Huitang) - Double hot spring tickets for two entries: includes 2 adult hot spring tickets (allowing two entries during your stay). The lobby felt very upscale upon entering, and the front desk staff were welcoming. The room was clean and tidy. I'll definitely stay here again next time – highly recommended! Every detail at the hotel was excellent and made me feel very well taken care of. It was a truly pleasant stay.

We visited in winter, and it happened to be snowing. Even though we arrived well past midnight, a staff member was still waiting for us and patiently answered all our questions. The next day, when our car got stuck in the village, he even went out of his way to help us find a solution. We were truly touched by their exceptional hospitality. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be here in summer, but do keep in mind that Zhangjiajie in winter is quite cold.
