Kunming Jiangye Resort Hotel has a great location. This time, our whole family, three adults and one child, landed in Kunming and planned to rest for one night before driving to Ailao Mountain and Xishuangbanna. So, for the first night, I wanted to find a quiet hotel in a less crowded area, and also a place where we could stroll around the next morning. Jiangye Resort Hotel is very peaceful and has its own underground parking. It features an indoor heated pool and outdoor hot springs. The room was a two-story loft with floor-to-ceiling windows, and our family had a wonderful time staying together. Just across the road from the hotel is Daguan Park. The hotel even provides bread for feeding the seagulls. We had a lovely time visiting the park and feeding the seagulls in the morning. The indoor heated pool was a hit, and my child went for a swim first thing in the morning. There are also outdoor hot springs. The hotel's breakfast was decent, offering bread, fruit, freshly cooked rice noodles, and hot dishes. The front desk lady provided excellent service; knowing I was going out to buy water, she gave me several extra bottles, saving me a lot of time. Overall, it's a very good hotel.

Our stay in this luxury bedroom suite was a memorable experience, largely due to the exceptional accommodations. The suite itself was nothing short of spectacular—incredibly spacious and warmly appointed. The layout was impeccably designed, featuring a foyer, a living area, a comfortable bedroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom was a highlight, with a separate water closet, a vanity area with a deep-soaking bathtub, and a separate, spacious double shower room. The private outdoor sitting area that led to a huge, rejuvenating hot spring was the crown jewel of the suite. It's important to note the location within the Dong Feng Yun Scenic Area. A significant benefit is that the hotel provides the scenic area entrance ticket and transport to and from the gate, which is excellent. However, its setting means it is quite far from Jianshui's Old Town and other key locations. This can be inconvenient when you wish to visit other spots or find dining options outside the hotel. A major logistical issue we encountered was with return trips. When trying to get back to the hotel, most taxi drivers requested a top-up payment, as they would have to return to the city center without a passenger. Service at the hotel was generally good; the staff were prompt and attentive upon our arrival and throughout our stay. However, we noted a noticeable drop in attentiveness during the checkout process. A minor point to note is the centralized A/C system, which meant we couldn't control the room temperature individually. That said, the provision of a standing fan was a thoughtful and effective solution. The food at the hotel's restaurant was acceptable, though it didn't quite match the exceptional standard of the suite itself. Overall, this is a truly magnificent property for the space and privacy it offers, but its remote location requires careful planning and extra budget for transportation.

Starting from good things. Room with private hot spring was nice and clean and bed and bed linen was great. Despite hot spring pool was leaking and needed to refill constantly. But no problem with that if water supply is turned on and you can operate yourself with valves. Hotel staff recommended many places for eating outside. Thanks for that! We arrived before check in time and asked to spend our time near the pool area which was not problem. When I was looking for toilet then lady from shop told to me that I should go outside the territory and use toilet which is for camper van people. And it was not toilet but old school ditch. Fortunately it was cleaned. Lot of things are in real life different than in pictures what you can find in web pages. Many hot springs was closed, on site was not operating restaurants and bars. Only you can order food from app or go outside. Area is under the airplanes take off route that means in daytime lot of noise. About 6pm domestic water supply was turned off and situation lasted until our leaving next day about 11am. Hotel staff wrote that if you want to use toilet I should let them know and they will find a solution. No shower or washing. Breakfast was simple. In the breakfast area is operational coffee machine but for some reason lady behind the table told that not possible and drink cold pre brewed ice coffee? I hope that it’s not connected with lack of water supply. Machine may be filled with purified bottle water not local tap water.

Our stay at Pullman Lijiang was absolutely amazing! It's right next to Shuhe Ancient Town, within walking distance, and the courtyard blends Naxi style with modern design, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. Our villa was spacious with a private courtyard and a plunge pool, and the underfloor heating made it incredibly comfortable. Rita was attentive and efficient. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. Whether you're traveling with family or as a couple, it's a perfect fit and definitely our top choice for accommodation in Lijiang!

The Banna Riverside Hotel is absolutely divine! So cozy and clean, I didn't want to check out! ✨ Seriously, who knew?! This riverside hotel I discovered in Xishuangbanna totally elevated my vacation happiness. Once I checked in, I didn't want to leave – this is truly the best way to experience Banna! The room felt incredibly warm and inviting! Soft, warm lighting combined with traditional Dai-style wooden furnishings and tropical plants in every corner created an instant Southeast Asian vacation vibe. Opening the door instantly soothed me; it felt like a cozy little nest, completely devoid of that 'unfamiliar' feeling. The best part? It was unbelievably clean! My inner neat freak was ecstatic. The bedding was fluffy and soft, I just sank right in. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, and even the grout lines were spotless. Toiletries were neatly arranged – every detail showed care, making my stay super comfortable. The river view was simply stunning! The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the Lancang River. I woke up to the river breeze in the morning, opening my eyes to the sparkling water. In the evening, sitting on the balcony, I watched the sunset glow spread across the river, painting half the sky with vibrant colors – the ambiance was off the charts! At night, the river breeze caressed my face as I watched the distant lights across the river and listened to its gentle flow. All my fatigue melted away; even just daydreaming felt blissful. No filters needed for photos here; every shot was an atmospheric masterpiece! The biggest surprise was the hotel's food! Every meal was different and so delicious I licked the plates clean. No need to bother looking for restaurants at all. Breakfast included authentic Dai-style rice noodles, freshly baked pastries, and fresh tropical fruits like mango and jackfruit, paired with freshly brewed coffee. Enjoying this in the riverside restaurant while admiring the view started my day off perfectly. Lunch and dinner were even more impressive – authentic Dai lemon chicken, lemongrass grilled fish, and pineapple rice, all made with fresh, generous portions. Every bite tasted like Banna! Even my friends who don't like spicy food raved about it. Definitely a godsend for lazy travelers! The location was also super convenient, not far from the Starlight Night Market and the Grand Pagoda, making sightseeing, eating, and playing incredibly easy. It's perfect for couples, girlfriends' getaways, or family trips, offering unbeatable value for money. It's already on my must-stay list for my next visit to Banna. The service is good. There is a guy at the door who takes the luggage and greets you with a smile. The breakfast is also very rich. I especially like the taste of pig intestine noodles. It feels very close to nature to have breakfast outdoors outside the restaurant. I will come again if I have the chance.

Every photo you take here turns out to be a stunning, naturally filtered shot. The details in the room are truly captivating. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows bring the scenery of distant mountains and nearby alleys right into your space. You wake up to the morning sun and fall asleep to the soft glow of the ancient town at night. The custom-made cotton and linen bedding is soft and gentle on the skin, and the smart devices and thermostatic shower in the bathroom instantly melt away any travel fatigue. My favorite spot is the cafe on the second floor, perfect for an afternoon tea. The hotel's service is incredibly thoughtful. In the morning, they offer a special, authentic, and delicious rice noodle breakfast! They even provide a late-night snack; when we were out in the evening, the staff thoughtfully prepared a sweet white fungus soup for us. This was the most relaxing and considerate part of my Lijiang trip.

I've stayed at InterContinental hotels in several cities, and this one is definitely among the more upscale. The hotel is large, with a great environment and excellent rooms. The decor is also very high-end. While the in-room facilities are a bit dated, they are still perfectly functional and practical. The breakfast spread is very generous. The best service comes from the front lobby attendants and housekeeping staff, who are diligent and enthusiastic. The front desk staff are good too, but the restaurant service was a bit disappointing; they seemed a bit moody and reluctant.

Among the five hotels we experienced during our Yunnan trip, we all agreed this was the standout! 1. Having stayed at numerous branded hotels, this was the first time we were met by a concierge right as we pulled into the parking lot. A fantastic touch! 2. There was a great selection of dining options; we opted for the restaurant/bar. Even at 9 PM, the food was absolutely delicious and fresh, with no compromise on quality. 3. It was a family member's birthday during our visit, and the hotel thoughtfully sent up a complimentary birthday cake! The only point for improvement concerns the swimming pool. It was simultaneously open to external training classes, which meant it got quite crowded. As a result, the water quality was noticeably poor, appearing yellowish and cloudy.

I chose this place for my weekend getaway by Erhai Lake. The decor is full of exquisite details, and all the amenities are high-quality. The staff, from the lovely ladies at the front desk to the handsome guy on night duty, the auntie serving breakfast, and even the chef, were all incredibly thoughtful! Seriously, from the moment we arrived in the afternoon, starting with afternoon tea, everything felt so warm and welcoming. The latte art for afternoon tea was meticulously crafted, with rich, creamy foam. The cakes even matched the room's decor – how amazing is that?! We also had tremella soup in the evening. The rice noodles at breakfast were absolutely delicious! The accompanying whole grain staples included corn, pumpkin, sweet potato, tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), eggs, and bread. And the view? You get a panoramic vista of Erhai Lake! It's both serene and artistically vibrant! I really think their official description is too modest! The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the toiletries, toilet, even the showerhead were all top-notch. The foot bath room even had a floor-to-ceiling window with an electric transparency function – that was a pleasant surprise! They had a Dyson hairdryer, wooden combs, and huge succulent potted plants. I'm so tired, I can't even praise them anymore. I have to complain again about their promotional video; it doesn't describe the place nearly as well as I just did. This place is truly worth coming back to for multiple vacations!
