Hot Springs Hotels in Yunnan, China

This hotel is located right inside the Dongfengyun scenic area. They provide complimentary entrance tickets and a travel photoshoot, along with a shuttle service that makes getting around and taking pictures super convenient. The hotel itself is a stunning red-brick art building, incredibly well-designed and seamlessly integrated with the scenic area, so every photo you take looks great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, facing the Kaleidoscope, with cozy bedding and excellent soundproofing – perfect for a holiday vibe. The service was also great, with friendly staff and a smooth check-in process. During the Spring Festival, there were plenty of activities, so you didn't need to jostle with crowds at the main attractions. The only downside was the afternoon tea, which was quite disappointing and needs improvement.

The first stop in Yunnan, the wife is satisfied. The hotel booked is really intimate and comfortable. From the airport, there is a Mercedes-Benz commercial car pick-up. The front desk of the hotel is particularly atmospheric. There are many goldfish super beautiful. The beauty front desk is warm and attentive. We have a lot of hot spring park pass rolls. Guests staying in the hotel have unlimited times. It is really too atmospheric. The room is clean and bright. I like the pool alone. It is very convenient to soak in the hot spring in the room during the stay. The hot spring park has the taste of Santorini in blue and white. There are not many people. Every pool is very clean. It is super romantic to watch the stars at night. The breakfast is also very rich and delicious. I eat it every time. Haha, not far from the scenic spot. I take a taxi for 12 yuan. I am going to play a circle and then come back to stay in ～.

Overall, a great experience! The room was clean with no strange odors, and both the natural light and soundproofing were excellent. The facilities were complete and functioned well, and the staff were gentle, polite, and always willing to help. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation and is quiet and comfortable. Right across the street is Daguan Park, which is fantastic for seeing seagulls. Highly recommended! I hope the glass staircase can be renovated, perhaps with a wooden or metal handrail along the wall. This would provide a sense of security and be more friendly for elderly people and those with a fear of heights.

Starting from good things. Room with private hot spring was nice and clean and bed and bed linen was great. Despite hot spring pool was leaking and needed to refill constantly. But no problem with that if water supply is turned on and you can operate yourself with valves. Hotel staff recommended many places for eating outside. Thanks for that! We arrived before check in time and asked to spend our time near the pool area which was not problem. When I was looking for toilet then lady from shop told to me that I should go outside the territory and use toilet which is for camper van people. And it was not toilet but old school ditch. Fortunately it was cleaned. Lot of things are in real life different than in pictures what you can find in web pages. Many hot springs was closed, on site was not operating restaurants and bars. Only you can order food from app or go outside. Area is under the airplanes take off route that means in daytime lot of noise. About 6pm domestic water supply was turned off and situation lasted until our leaving next day about 11am. Hotel staff wrote that if you want to use toilet I should let them know and they will find a solution. No shower or washing. Breakfast was simple. In the breakfast area is operational coffee machine but for some reason lady behind the table told that not possible and drink cold pre brewed ice coffee? I hope that it’s not connected with lack of water supply. Machine may be filled with purified bottle water not local tap water.

Facilities: The bedding was subpar; the bed was too soft. Even though the butler kindly helped to switch it to another side, it was still very soft and didn't meet the standards I'd expect from a five-star hotel's bedding. The water pressure from the tap was extremely low, making showering quite a struggle. The hotel is very large with many buildings. Fortunately, they were very responsive to my special request and didn't assign me a room too far away, so it wasn't too much of a walk from the lobby. Breakfast: The breakfast was genuinely mediocre. There wasn't anything particularly outstanding or memorable to eat. Perhaps Kunming doesn't have many distinctive local delicacies to begin with. Hot Springs: They claimed to have hot springs, but in reality, it was just a small pool in the courtyard. When I checked it in the afternoon, it was only 38.5 degrees Celsius. Service: The hotel butler added me on WeChat beforehand and frequently checked in during my stay to see if I needed anything.

I booked this hotel specifically for the hillside hot springs. Although it's a bit old, it's well-maintained and the environment is truly beautiful. I booked room C for convenience, since we take a shuttle bus to the hot springs anyway. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, but the taste was just average. The hotel's own restaurant offers reasonably priced meals, which is worth considering. Room E is located outside the hotel garden, right by the road, and the car is parked right next to the building; it didn't feel as nice as room C. The hotel parking lot has charging facilities, which is very convenient. However, the gate system had a problem. Even though I registered my license plate number at the front desk, I still had to pay for parking. In the end, I had to contact the front desk to manually raise the gate. The changing rooms at the hillside hot springs were clean, and bathrobes and towels were available for changing in the hot spring area. The only downside was that my skin became itchy after soaking in the hot springs, which was quite unusual; I've never experienced this in a real hot spring before.

The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and patient, making check-in and check-out highly efficient. The housekeeping staff are also very responsible, meticulously cleaning the rooms daily to ensure they remain spotless. The hotel also offers many thoughtful services, such as complimentary laundry service and 24-hour hot water, making the experience extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay here again next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at this boutique hotel. The pool was perfect to cool off in after a long drive and has a picturesque view towards the golden pagoda. Our room was perfect with a huge bath tub, and giant balcony overlooking the garden. I normally chose sleep over breakfast but I decided to join my wife, I was not disappointed - nice bread, sausage, noodles and freshly brewed coffee. The staff were extremely approachable and helpful, giving tips on the city and recommending places to eat. Finally, and most importantly- there is a fridge full of chilled German wheat beer, one free for each day of your stay! If the stay wasn’t perfect enough, this topped it off!

The staff was enthusiastic and took the initiative to help with luggage, introduce us to local specialties, attractions, food, etc. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the night was very quiet and the bedding was very good. The hotel also had a free self-service laundry room. It was very convenient. The hot spring on the roof at night can eliminate the fatigue of the day. I choose this one for business trips here. The price is very high.
