Hot Springs Hotels in Yunnan, China

I booked a twin room at Zhulao, and the front desk upgraded me to a Kaleidoscope Twin Room in the main building, 3rd floor. The balcony offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dongfengyun Kaleidoscope architectural complex. Right outside the hotel is the iconic Red Wine Bottle building, and photos taken from the balcony turned out stunning. The stay included admission tickets to the scenic area and shuttle service, so I didn't have to pay extra, making it super convenient to enter and exit the park. The tickets could be used unlimited times. I also tried the hotel's photography service, and the photos were excellent. I had two Chinese meals at the hotel restaurant; the food was decent. The set menu was a bit average, but ordering à la carte seemed better. Breakfast was quite rich. The bell staff at the entrance were very proactive, helping with luggage, and taking me to the scenic spots for photos and sightseeing in an electric cart. They also enthusiastically introduced the attractions and routes along the way. I also want to specially thank the floor attendant, Yang Fen, who helped with several requests during my stay. My stay included a one-time use of the mini-bar: the drinks were quite good. The fruit platter on the first day had limited variety. Dongfengyun Characteristic Town admission tickets and sightseeing car tickets: Convenient for guests to explore. 5 retouched digital photos from the hotel's photography service (advance reservation required): I chose the package and was quite satisfied with the experience 👍.

The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward.

This is a lovely beachfront B&B with a great ambiance. Upon check-in, they offer afternoon tea and a travel photography service. Both the breakfast and afternoon tea are quite exquisite. There's a garden swing photo spot right next to the dining area! It's perfect for photos, and it's exclusively for guests, so you don't have to queue like at popular网红 spots. In the evening, after you've been out, the room butler even brings a sweet late-night soup. The service all around is very thoughtful. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dali.

The room was very clean, equipped with a Toto smart toilet and a private hot spring, which was truly enjoyable. All the facilities in the room were excellent, and breakfast was plentiful. The B&B's location is great, very close to the lake. The best part, however, was the service. There were many complimentary convenience services available, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind, polite, and enthusiastic. After we checked out, they informed us that we had left an item of clothing in the room. I asked them to courier it to my next accommodation, and they even paid for the shipping without charging me. While the cost wasn't substantial, I'm still incredibly grateful.

I've stayed in many hostels across the country, but this is the first one I've truly wanted to recommend to everyone! The atmosphere is fantastic, the scenery is beautiful, it's clean and tidy, and the owner is lovely. It's especially amazing to just sit on the sofa and zone out when the sun is out. This is hands down the best value-for-money hostel I've ever stayed in. The owner even gave me a ticket to a stage play! If you love ethnic culture, you'll be absolutely thrilled! Highly, highly recommend!!!

This guesthouse is truly thoughtful. We had such a great time exploring the old town that we decided to stay another night before leaving, looking for a place with a nice atmosphere, and that's how we found this one. The location is right at the entrance of the old town, no hills to climb, making it super convenient for coming and going. The courtyard is elegant and features a public garden, a fireplace, a tea table, and even a desk for calligraphy practice. In the front hall, there are also qipaos available for guests to try on and take photos. We also enjoyed a hand-drip coffee, and the coffee shop itself was very relaxing. Since we had to leave early the next day and would miss breakfast, I mentioned it to the owner. To our surprise, we immediately received a generous assortment of snacks, including milk, bread, and even fruit. We are truly grateful! 😊

I absolutely have to give this guesthouse a huge thumbs up! The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the charming, old-world courtyard, which felt so authentically Lijiang. The rooms were spotless and decorated with a distinct local flair, making for a really comfortable stay. The best part was the owner – super friendly and always invited us for tea and a chat when we returned. Spending evenings relaxing in the courtyard, stargazing, made time feel like it truly slowed down. The location is also fantastic; it's a 15-minute walk to Sifang Street, offering a perfect blend of convenience and tranquility, so nights were completely peaceful. Excellent value for money – this is my top choice for Lijiang!

Located within the Honghe Water Town urban tourism complex in the southern part of Mile City, this hotel boasts convenient transportation. Adjacent to a wetland park, it enjoys lush greenery and a tranquil, beautiful setting. The surrounding commercial street offers a wide variety of businesses, making it a well-established and mature destination. On the evening of my stay, the shower water temperature was slightly low. Upon receiving feedback, the butler promptly contacted the engineer for improvement. We suggest adding non-slip mats or floor towels to the shower areas and perhaps creating local attraction guides, souvenirs, and other gifts for guests. Although still in its trial operation period, the service was warm and efficient, the rooms were clean and hygienic, and the experience of the signature storm hot spring and public soaking pools exceeded expectations. Compared to other local products, the price-performance ratio is outstanding, making it a worthwhile choice for future stays.

Stayed for 2 nights from June 7-9, 2026. The special package I bought on Ctrip offered incredible value for money! The hotel staff were very attentive; they'd proactively greet guests anywhere within the hotel. The standalone villa was indeed spacious. Although the room facilities are quite old, you can still see the high standards and quality of the original setup! However, for a five-star hotel, providing purified water instead of mineral water for guests felt a bit like cutting corners. Sitting in the small courtyard, enjoying tea and conversation, was truly delightful. The landscaping design, arrangement, and maintenance throughout the villa area are all beautiful, especially the view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the restaurant plaza – it's absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's breakfast selection is extensive, and the quality is excellent, with a beautiful and comfortable dining environment. As a resort hotel, it achieves a high standard and a perfect balance across all aspects, including location, environmental quality, and service level.

The room I booked wasn't available, so the hotel upgraded me for free. The service was excellent, they even helped with my luggage and delivered afternoon tea to our room exactly as we requested. The private hot spring in the courtyard was convenient and comfortable, with curtains for good privacy. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet also had a great variety. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance.
