The room is spacious and the bed is quite comfortable, but the pillow is too flat.
The soundproofing effect is so-so, and the sound from the corridor can be clearly heard in the room.
The air conditioner is loud.
There are convenience stores, restaurants, 24-hour self-service laundry shops, and daily necessities supermarkets within 5-10 minutes.
The neighborhood is quieter after dark, but safe.
It takes only 5 minutes to walk to Kashihara Jingumae Station. The road is flat and you don't need to go up and down the elevator.
There is a lounge on the 1st floor that provides snacks.
From 8pm to 10pm, the hot spring bath will provide ”amazake”👍
But there is no self-service laundry and dry cleaning service.
The bath is time-limited, not 24 hours.
If you stay consecutively, you can request to clean the room every other day. The cleaning level is standard.
There is a 2D Barcode on the information sheet to check the mixing situation of the bath.
I booked a twin room, but when I got there it turned out to be a double. I then contacted the front desk and was promptly shown to a twin room. The building, the room, and the large communal bath were all clean. The free drink bar was also nice. However, it was closed at night, which was inconvenient when I was thirsty. I know that the tap water in the bathroom is drinkable, but I'm not really comfortable with it, so if they just provided bottled water in the room I'd have no complaints. Overall it was a very good place to stay.
I have to say it is the best reservation along the Kohechi Route. Very friendly and helpful staffs, yummy foods, super clean and huge onsen with very good facilities provided and it’s only me. super over expected. fully recommand!better than any one in totsukawa onsen, its really a value for money choice.
Matsuyama san is great, with patience and kindness, he explained everything in detail, we had a good start in this wonderful hotel.
The food was offered in traditional Japanese style, 怀石料理,The service was impeccable. There are three hot springs in the hotel and next door, we enjoyed all of them. A great stay. Highly recommended.
It is located quite far away, it is difficult to combine it with a trip to any attractions. In winter, buses go to the village only a few times a day, and the village itself looks deserted. But the hotel itself is great. Wooden building, but everything is in very good condition. 2 onsen, one with a view of a beautiful small garden. On the 2nd floor there is a chill zone with cool acoustics. Despite the minus outside, it was warm. Well, the full set: traditional rooms with tatami and futons, traditional clothing, cool dinner / breakfast. There are places to walk in the area, so it might be a good idea to stay here for a couple of nights, but probably not in winter.
Idealy located to visit Shigisan, a 5min walk from the entrance !
A very pleasant Onsen (indoor and Outdoor) is in the hotel.
Note however that they don't serve diner and all restaurants are closed in the evening, so make sure you plan accordingly !
The hotel locate just beside Nara station, bus terminal is also steps away, very convenient. The room size is very comfortable. Staffs are all friendly and handle check in fast. Check out is via self service machine which took only 2 mins.
Every floor has facility room with auto laundry machine, oven and etc, which is very helpful for multiple days stay. Breakfast has various choices while tastes average to me. Overall a very satisfied stay and thanks a lot to all hotel staffs.
The staff's customer service attitude was good. The building was also clean and tidy, and left a good impression with its cleanliness. There was a discrepancy when checking the reservation status, but a satisfactory explanation was given and I was able to check in without any problems. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfactory, and the rice in particular was delicious, and I really felt the benefits of ”Gorogoro Mizu.” The only thing that was disappointing was the loud creaking sound made by the indoor toilet door when it was opened and closed. The hot spring was also well kept, and I enjoyed my morning bath. It was great.
Yugawaya is worth going again. . Because the hot spring soup view is beautiful. . Breakfast and dinner are also delicious. . The room is so big and clean. . I have a full score!
Traditional Japanese hot spring hotel, the female service attitude is very good, as a rest point on the small side road is very comfortable. The location is close to the station, but some distance from the departure point of the small side road. The meal is very serious, the waterwheel theme hot spring is also good, the price can be
Very Good

GGuest UserBooked during the cherry blossom season, the hotel price has increased to a very unworthy price...
The environment is very Japanese, but the check-in process actually took quite a long time, and the girl who checked in was obviously not very patient.
The room is ok, just like some of the better rooms in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, China. The garden view faces a cherry blossom tree... It's also okay...
Don't go when the price is high, it's not worth it
Others are ok. The atmosphere is full.
PS: Such an expensive hotel charges for minibar!!!
TTashCThe hotel is next to the Nara station, it’s very good location. The staff are kind and nice, we asked about the route and restaurant recommendations, they are so helpful. The onsen in the hotel is good. Pyjamas and necessities are provided. Free alcohol drinks are also provided. All the check-in or entering room are in automatic mode. Good security for woman onsen zone with specific password to enter. I wish I could stay here again if I come back to Nara again.
CClaire LingHotel was about 2 mins walk from the entrance of Nara park n the shopping district. Very good location. You could either walk 1.3km to the hotel from the JR station, or take a taxi which would cost around 1200yen. About 10 mins walk from the metro station. I stayed for 2 nights with breakfast and dinner inclusive. The Ryokan did take note n served us a different menu each day. There was also a small indoor n outdoor onsen in the Ryokan. The food was superb.
GgtFufu Nara is a high-end luxury hotel and I enjoyed my stay with my m wife for our 24th wedding anniversary. Service was hearty and our Teppanyaki dinner was greeted with a dessert marking our memorable day!

GGuest UserWe were absolutely delighted with the ryokan. The owner is very nice and good-natured. Everywhere is perfectly clean, the linen and yukata are snow-white and smell fresh. Two layers of tatami, super comfortable to sleep. The room is spacious, bright and cozy. The wood flooring in the onsen/wash area has been updated. Tea, treats and kaiseki are all delicious! Thanks for taking care of me!
GGuest UserI live in Nara city, but I stayed here because I wanted to relax after playing golf, and all the staff were wonderful and I felt relaxed. Thank you very much.
