The room is very British, there are surprises, the children like it very much, although it is close to the road, but it is not noisy at all, the most important thing is that there are great restaurants and bars on the first floor! Recommend to friends immediately, there are not many rooms, but each room has its own characteristics!

The hotel is in a good location, not in the downtown area, but the bus is very convenient. There is a bus directly to the beach. You can visit the Britannia. The landlord's wife also has a discount card. The bus to the city is also very convenient, and it is very convenient to go directly to Princes Street and museums. The host is from Hong Kong. The wife is very beautiful. She speaks Mandarin and speaks softly. She is super young. The environment is quiet, and there is a large Tesco supermarket not far from the east. Edinburgh is beautiful and you can live here again.

At the beginning, I lived in a big bed room. The room was on the first floor and was small. I changed the suite the next day and brought my own garden and it was very comfortable. There is a small problem that the wifi signal is usually broken sometimes, but it is enough if you don't play the game. The front desk is very enthusiastic, thanks.

The location is great. There are bus stops right in front of it for both sides. It is very easy to go to Rosslyne Chapel or the city center. There is always hot water. The wifi works well. The rooms are fine. The only downside is there is no breakfast. That's fine too, there are many alternatives outside. There are no hotel slippers, but that's nowhere else in the UK. So bring your slippers in your suitcase when you come to the UK. I would definitely stay here again if I came back because of its location and very good price/performance value 👍👍👍

Excellent staff, clean room and convenient location make Edinburgh’s Marriott Hotel Holyrood one like no other. The receptionist made a provision for me to check in early at 9:30 am and for me that was a major relief as I traveled by train from London and really needed to rest. Thank you to the impeccable room service as well that made it a relaxing time for me.

Hostel location is nice near university of edinburgh. Breakfast menu is nice although its the same everyday even the options of fruits and crossiant fillings. Its freshly made everyday . Service is nice at ground level is really nice Pro: location, hotel staff , laundry and dry cleaning service on first come self serve basis. Rooms have AC , Table fans, iron kit , mircrowave and fridge. Con: Room service needs improvement. They have given it to 3rd party so have fixed timing and clean rooms faster and can be some times undone partially! I would recommend to stay here for 3-4 days or untill you are not bored of eating same breakfast :) Reception is available 24/7 which is nice. Nearest bus stop at forrest road.

The hotel is located in the new town, 10 minutes walk to Prince Street, the location is very good, downstairs is very popular with locals of the traditional British restaurant, locals will come here specially for breakfast. There is a unique design style, the room is big enough, the bed is comfortable enough, very comfortable experience, the only downside is that the stairs are very narrow and the large luggage is very difficult to get up and down.

This hotel is historic and grand, I highly recommend it. Was once the Harbor Master's house for the port of Leith and it truly holds all of the charm of a historic building, but with many cool upgrades! The area is really charming, just off the water and a fairly quick bus ride to all the downtown sites. Every single member of the staff from the restaurant, to housekeeping to the front desk really went out of their way to be kind, helpful and attentive. This was a trip of a lifetime for me and they truly made my visit to Edinburgh all the more. I highly recommend The Malmaison. Thank you so very much for an excellent stay.

I would recommend bringing your earplugs with you if you’re sensitive to noises when sleeping. They help a lot. Also, bring your padlocks for storage case if you don’t want to buy it at the counter for £2.

Awful hotel that is definitely not 4* and the service is not at Hilton level at all…. The hotel goes under the renovation and there were only 2 lifts with queues and they are also used by the staff too We had a room for 3 people and had all set up for two people only, the room was dirty with hair in the shower and the ceiling. When I took the shower the pipe was blocked and the water started to leak to the bathroom… yes they sorted the problem quite quickly but still was not great experience There were no slippers and bathrobes. I asked for x3 slippers and they brought only one pair. I asked again and they brought only one pair again. On the third time they brought two pairs…. When I asked for 3!!! And still no bathrobes. We asked for additional blanket and it was in a random location after the room was cleaned. The room was cleaned badly on the next day we stayed. My pajamas was thrown elsewhere and I found it on the table, the towels we put on the floor to be replaced were fold dirty on the shelves… the blanket was in a random location and the cleaner did not pay any attention at all left the room dirty. Very disrespectful I felt that I had to beg for the things we are supposed to get in this kind of hotels. Shocking!!! Yes they compensated with a complimentary breakfast which was good but still the service was bad. They sent the cleaner and by the time she came we were already sleeping. And she did not speak any English … very disappointed Room 210, 26.10-28.10 2024

When you open the hotel window, you can see the castle, and below is Edinburgh's garden fountain. The room is very new and has complete facilities. It will feel a little far to drag your luggage back from Aibo Railway Station. There is another Premier Inn hotel slightly closer to the train station. But the unexpected bonus is that it is very close to the rural village of Dean, and it takes 10-13 minutes to walk there through navigation. Stayed 2 nights in total. Most of the guests here are local British citizens, and I have never met any Chinese.

This hotel really left a very ”unforgettable” impression. The hotel seems to be a renovation of an old building. The environment is very crowded. Going to the room is a very difficult and winding road. It is very complicated... My friend's room is arranged on a different floor, but we have to take different elevators and climb the stairs with luggage to get to the elevator... There was no staff to assist in the whole process, and the elevator floor is also arranged very strangely... The room is OK, clean and hygienic, the bed is very small, and the lighting and decoration style are really hard to evaluate... The location is good, and the hotel breakfast is relatively average

The hotel location is very good, very close to Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street, it is a little far away from Royal Mile Street, but can be reached on foot, the town is very suitable for walking. The hotel implements unmanned management, and you can open the door and the room door yourself according to the password you check in. We are a family of 5 staying with children and living suites. The rooms are large and clean and well-equipped. You can cook your own meals. Tableware and pots are fully equipped (but I do n’t see a microwave). We are accustomed to the British diet. The house even provides equipment such as vacuum cleaners and washing machines, which is in line with our home habits. The price is slightly higher, but for the case of five of us, it is still a lot more cost-effective than booking two single rooms, especially it is really good to be able to cook by ourselves. In particular, we need to remind everyone that the hotel will send you an email 7 days and 1 day before the check-in, which will contain the room number and password for the check-in. If you booked on Ctrip, because they may have booked through other channels, the reserved mailbox is not ours, we cannot receive the mail, we must contact Ctrip customer service one day in advance, get this information, and then Can stay. Because the apartment is unmanned, it will be inconvenient to communicate if there is a temporary problem.

Location- Superb Gym - Excellent Front of House - Very poor. Didn't reflect the W service that we experienced in other countries. No smile, didn't look like she wanted to work there (Christina) , didn't brief us about what came with our reservation, ie breakfast and where to go for it. Asked for late check out at 2pm , which was granted. Thank you, however at 1.40pm , they sent someone at our door to make sure we leave the room ! Horrible and embarrassing. The deposit that they took during check in from our CC hasn't been refunded yet! Good beakfast which was from ala carte and it was the only good service we had here... thank you Ryan for the tips on Dean Village, We went there and it was beautiful. Overall, our stay at The Wild Hotel was pleasant. The location is great, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff was friendly. However, the electronic heating management system was a major issue. Every night, the temperature fluctuated from tropical heat to freezing cold, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. Because my husband had knee surgery not long ago, when we booked on Ctrip, we saw that there was an elevator and booked it without hesitation. As a result, we were given a room on the underground first floor (about 3,000 RMB a day to stay on the underground first floor). The most important thing is that the elevator can't reach the underground first floor. Later, after negotiating with their front desk staff, we added 200 pounds a day to stay in another hotel of the same brand. Then we took a taxi to the other hotel by ourselves. The loss of money and the waste of time really made me give a bad review for the first time!!!

Advantages: 1) The location is very good, just on Princess Stree, not accessible from the train station and the castle; 2) The view outside the window is very good, facing the church, you can see Edinburgh Castle, the night view through the glass is quite good, you can refer to the scenery in the photo; 3) As a hotel apartment in the room, the kitchen equipment is basically complete, and friends who love to cook can use it with confidence; Disadvantages: 1) There is no Reception, there is any problem ~ can send email communication or call communication, we arrived at the hotel and found that the Access Code can not open the door to enter the room, ~ can call the office to communicate, customer service can also help you solve the problem on the phone, No one will be sent to the scene to solve it. Note ⚠️: Entering the first floor gate and the room, you need to enter the activation time of Access Code, Code at 3 pm on the day of check-in, and the expiration time is 11:00 am on the day of check-out. That is to say, you can't get in when you arrive at the hotel before 3 pm on the day of check-in. Because your Access Code is not activated, the input is invalid, and you can be obediently accompanying your beloved suitcase on the street. Check Out time is 11 am, and the cleaning staff will put the cleaning tool at the door of the room early, waiting for the moment you leave the room to clean up. 2) There is no elevator, it is really not easy to carry luggage upstairs, it is recommended that single ladies do not try unless there is no luggage. 3) The sound insulation is very poor. I stayed for two nights. There were no guests in the next room on the first night. I felt acceptable. I didn’t receive too much alarm at night. The next night, there were guests in the next room. They talked and opened the door. We can hear clearly on the footpath, and the sleepy little friends should have a psychological preparation. 4) The noise outside the window is very loud. The window of the room is facing the road, and the siren of the ambulance can be heard no less than ten times a night, and it is particularly harsh. In the evening, there will be a group of drunk people who are loudly ”showing their heart” downstairs, walking a wave, and coming again. No less than five waves a night. A really nice hotel! Very exquisite British style hotel, in fact, is a villa, breakfast is very good, in addition to regular food, you can also choose one of the five chefs to do. 3 kilometers from Edinburgh Railway Station, very close to the city center, I basically walk, very convenient. The boss gentleman is interesting, I forgot to bring the conversion plug, the boss took out a box, more than a dozen estimated to be around the world, haha. There is a park on the side.

A little bit expensive than the expectations. The location was ok, bus and tram stops included. The cleanliness can be improved. The reception was a bit busy when arrived since it was a student accommodation, so the efficiency of check-in cannot be guaranteed. All in all it’s average

The hotel was lovely, the bed was comfortable, the reception staff was welcoming and amazing! I was thoroughly disappointed at the breakfast selection - the eggs were overcooked and floating in water, it was quite gross. The gentleman taking care of the tables was quite rude. We asked the reception whether we can look at the breakfast before we make a decision to add on, she said sure, we went there and this gentleman working the floor was quite rude saying for how many? I told him I am still deciding as my partner wanted to come in and have breakfast too. It was me and my mom staying in the room, but he was so pushy and rude, he asked for my room number, I gave it to him, he came back saying it's not paid and I said to him I know I am just deciding if I want to add it on -- we were standing away from the food and didn't have plates or anything, we were just texting my partner to get a decision from him. He was so rude and said ”see I told you, this is why I asked, come with me” and he had a very rude attitude. We paid for it at the bar and then went to sit down, but this gentleman was the only rude man in the hotel - quite frankly would not eat at that place again!  He messed the whole experience for us.
