We had a lovely stay. We were greeted at the door and our check in was completed by the staff member for us. We were able to access our room immediately which was very helpful. The room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. We both enjoyed our scrumptious breakfast. Would definitely return, and recommend it to others.

Staff were helpful and did there best.. continental breakfast is ideal to start the day..room a no no..cold and bathroom tiny separated by a losing door.. unacceptable handbasin not sink, alarm from someone else using a shower on the hotel went on for ten minutes or so until problem was solved..not ideal at 9 am...every time you used the loo it made a loud juddering sound ..and feaces coming up through the shower plug is really not acceptable..needs a good refurb and could be a lovely building as it's obviously old and tired... won't be going again!

The receptionist who checked us in was very helpful and she gave us a free drinks ticket as it was wedding anniversary. The room was very clean and the facilities were good. We ate in the restaurant on two nights. The food was excellent with good choices. Breakfast was also very good. I would stay at this hotel again.

The breakfast is okay, the location is great, just outside the station, free Wi-Fi. Even sending messages takes a long time, almost to the point of being unusable. Its high-speed WiFi is five pounds for 24 hours.

Great hotel in an excellent location behind lime Street station. Staff on check-in were extremely helpful and friendly as were all the other staff members. Rooms are clean and the beds comfortable, the shower was powerful and hot and the bath big. English Breakfast was delicious although not the biggest buffet the quality was amazing .The room could do with a fridge but aside from that everything was perfect for us and we will definitely be back again

Firstly the bad points- *The Carpark was full of old furniture from the hotel and empty beer barrier preventing you getting parked, *The hotel has turned into more of a party venue hotel rather than the beautiful hotel it was when I last came with my daughter 2018. *tap in the kitchen area in our room only let out hot water and unfortunately the room stunk of what I could only describe as a sewerage smell? Whether the drains needed maintenance I’m not sure but I I just sprayed some deodorant around to help make it not smell quite as bad because I was so tired I didnt want to have to swap rooms. *There was also no phone to call reception which I found strange and the remote for the tv was missing the back of it. I put all this bad points down to the fact that when I previously came it was owned by someone who really cared about the maintenance and reputation of the hotel but now I’ve found it’s since been sold it seems the new owner isn’t as bothered and all what the shankley represented before eg, maintenance, luxury, football themed has kind of turned more into a tacky themed hotel and doesn’t feel classy anymore. I’d probably not stay here again as it’s not the same as it was and just the whole feel of hand hotel is different. It’s not the best if you have come with kids as there’s lots of drunken guests in the hotel and it’s noisey but thank goodness it’s a large hotel as you don’t hear the noise from downstairs. We were on level 3. Our room was lovely and big with a large double bed and 2 twins pushed together, a kitchen area with tea bags and coffee (no biscuits but that didn’t bother us as we had snacks with us The upsides were- *Staff were pleasant, *breakfast was amazing with everything you could possibly as for, *hotel was mainly quiet on the 3rd floor, room was on the whole clean and had a hair dryer, iron and ironing board with a safe. * . The bathroom was lovely especially the bath as it was a jacuzzi with a waterfall shower. Everything was clean from what I could see.

Had a fantastic stay, your staff are a absolutely FANTASTIC they are all so efficient, had a issue with my room but as it wasn't found till late in the evening but I was in a clean fresh room by 11 the next morning. As for your staff the tall blonde lady can't rambert her name super polite and on the ball, and as for Collette she made me feel so welcome and she treated me like I was a returning customer and it was my first time staying at the hotel, she is a asset to you and the hotel, also the bar team I met were amazing too and your house keeper I spoke too was so appreciated of me *****ping the beds for her when I changed over rooms, all your staff are AMAZING. Thank you to all of you guys and yes I will be returning ASAP.

Great location, generally clean, ok service. Plenty of restaurants around and quite easy to walk around the city centre from here. Just note that we were trying to check in 2 hours earlier to the stipulated general check in time and the hotel wanted to charge us for it. First time I've heard of this - Adaggio in Edinburgh let us check in much earlier and without charging us so I'm not sure what their general policy is!

The room was spacious and modernly designed. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities provided, including a refrigerator, slippers, a coffee machine, and conveniently located power sockets behind the beds. However, the bathroom design was quite impractical. The shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, likely due to low water pressure since we stayed on the 15th floor (the top floor). The sink and hangers also seemed poorly thought out, as if the designer hadn’t tested them after installation. Only one tissue was found inside the tissue box, and the air conditioning was difficult to adjust for proper ventilation.

Not bad, mainly very close to the stadium, just a few minutes walk, the location is absolutely good, there is a convenience store in the gas station diagonally opposite, if you need to cook, you can buy simple dishes, there are not many choices for eating out, the neighborhood is relatively deserted, because the first time I booked a homestay, I didn’t have experience. I don't know if it is contactless check-in, you must remember to see the email with the room password. If you have any questions, you can also call or send an email.

To me first impressions for anything in life are imperative. Imagine my surprise when I found clutches of hear in the bath and the toilet seat. Having gone down to reception to report this and confirm the room had been attended to. Initially I was told yes however, within seconds I was informed that the system had been down and that my room may have been missed. I was not offered an apology but I was asked if I would like to help myself to a drink from the fridge to compensate me.

The location is very good and I think it is the best place to sightsee Liverpool. On the first day of arrival, there was a problem with the button on the toilet in the room, but the staff immediately responded and prepared another room. Also, when I asked if there was a coin laundry nearby, he politely told me the location. In addition to that, there were several scenes where I felt the hospitality of the hotel, and it was a hotel that I wanted to use when staying in Liverpool.

My favourite place to stay in Liverpool, and probably the whole of the UK. The spa is amazing and is true to the advertised pictures, in fact it's even better because they don't show off everything there! The rooms are spotless and so lovely, the staff are all super friendly and polite and cannot do enough to help. Treat yourself to an amazing high class experience for reasonable prices. Place was exactly as advertised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying if your trip is short. As for downsides, hostel has limited number of bathrooms and showers - this can cause issues if you have to leave quickly. The ventilation in rooms is basically non-existent, and rooms house up to 10 people, so I’ll leave the air quality to your imagination. Sound isolation is not great, so if somebody has a good time in the kitchen you’ll going to hear that. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Cleanliness is subjective, I’m not that picky, but having crumbs in my bed was disconcerting. Some sinks have filters with hair in them. Haven’t seen anything that would be actually harmful like mold or hygiene products, so that is good. Location is good. Liverpool is not that big and you’ll get to city centre in under an hour even with most leisurely pace. Do visit the cathedral on your way there. I haven’t seen any shops in immediate vicinity though, but I didn’t need them, so maybe you find some if you look. Bus stop for airport is fairly close, so that is a plus as well. Overall, this is a hostel. You can sleep there, store your stuff and maybe have a chat with interesting people. Price is fair for experience.

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel, especially as my family and I were unfortunately left in the city after we missed our last train. The staff were very accommodating, and we were given a free upgrade to the executive suite after a mishap and explaining our situation. The room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, very well ventilated, and clean. The towels were extra soft, and there was more than enough to accommodate my family. We received cosy dressing gowns and slippers. We had extra pillows in the bed, and it was extremely comfortable. The bathroom amenities were divine, too. The shower room was a great design with very good lighting. The location was perfect, under a 10 min walk from Liverpool Lime St rail station.

We came here to celebrate my sisters birthday. I have a disability so asked for a accessible room. Well all i can say is wow!! The room was very big, with a full wet room with slip mats, plenty of towels with shampoo conditioner and shower gel, (which wasn't the cheap stuff) a fridge microwave sink coffee machine kettle were all in our room but cleverly hidden in what looked like wardrobes. Staff were outstanding in every way. We arrived with a card and chocolates on our table wishing my sister a happy birthday, Monday to Thursday they have an hour of free win or soft drinks in reception. The hotel was spotless lifts working at all times, we were close enough to all the bars and shops yet didn't hear any noise when in our room resting. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I'm honest Liverpool itself what a lovely lovely city!!! Will absolutely be coming back to this hotel in the future.

The 18xx year house, very feel, the room is oversized, in fact, there are two floors, can live six people, the boss is very enthusiastic, detailed introduction, personally demo various locations, various devices, introduce the surrounding food and play, put forward the demand to help me book a hotel, chat can not stop, I will go live again if I have the opportunity. The hotel is located near the pier, but a 15 min walk from the city centre. It's convenient to go to the waterfront, The Museum of Liverpool and the bus station. Wifi is free and strong even in the room. Clean and tidy. Can open a bit of window. No breakfast included but Costa and Pret nearby. I walked around 50 minutes to Anfield. Quiet at night. But 2 fire alarms happened in 4 days I stayed. Staff said there was someone smoked in room! Love the big TV with Sky Sports channel which some of the PL matches can be watched. Also have a gym in 1/F

Located in the city center, there is a shopping center next to it, and it is next to the pier. Because there are government agencies nearby, the law and order are relatively safe. Downstairs there is a Tesco express open until 11:00 p.m., which is very convenient for buying breakfast or supper. The service staff kindly gave us a view room on a high floor. Overall comfort in the room. The inconvenient part is that the hair dryer has to be borrowed from the counter in advance. The bathroom did not provide any cleaning products, and the smell of dampness for a long time needs to be improved.
