I have been meaning to write this review for a while now and I apologise to the castello infinity suites staff for the delay.....myself and My partner stayed for 10 nights last month and all I can say is......there is not enough words In this world to describe how amazing this place is....it is simply AMAZING. From arrival to checkout we enjoy every second. The restaurant manager Vasilis (excuse me if I've spelt it wrong) was outstanding and so are all the staff....I wish I could remember all there names and im sorry I don't but every single staff member were so professional and polite and made is so welcome. The reception staff also outstanding. Food was incredible. Our room was so so beautiful. Our pool on the balcony was stunning with sea view. Then best of all my partner proposed on the Saturday night we were there and when we got back to our room there was a bottle of champagne to celebrate. We were so grateful for that. It made us feel so so special. I could honestly go on forever about this hotel. You will not he disappointed. Last but not least we also want to say thank you the house keeping staff who were also amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They were fantastic. I was very impressed with my stay. My bungalow was well positioned for privacy while still open to enjoy the natural surroundings. I loved having my own little piece of heaven amid beautiful flowers & foliage. I even loved the walks I took to & from meals (a whole other wonderful). Walks long enough to appreciate the property but short enough whenever I was ready to escape back to heaven. The various rooms within the buildings reminded me of art found in magazines. The creative attention given to pleasing all five senses was apparent and I commend the resort staff for a job well done. The only regret that I have is more cultural than anything. I am saddened that it seemed difficult to make a connection with the local population. I am accustomed to meeting new people who offer a demeanor that invites others to want to learn about them & their community; their culture. However, that was Greece in general, NOT the resort. If anyplace offered the beauty & comfort to make a trip more than dreamed, it is Out of The Blue Resort & Spa.

I had a pleasant 7 night stay here at this accommodation while in Heraklion, Crete. It belongs to the Lato Boutique, which is the main hotel. The Annex is right opposite and required card access to enter. Room was the Economy room (15 sq. metres), a little on the small side, but good enough for a solo traveller. The room was right next to the stairwell and the lift, so there were times I could hear people moving about, but at night it was very quiet, and there were no sleep disruptions. Bed was comfy, air-conditioning was also good. The shower was also good, with shampoo and soap provided, though I noticed it was running a little low towards the end of my stay (i.e., no refills were done). I also appreciated that a luggage rack was provided, along with two bottles of water on check-in day. Fridge was big enough to fit lots of mineral water bottles to keep them cold, which would be a great reprieve in the summer time. Room safe was incredibly huge as well, it can easily store laptops securely, if needed. The elevator door got stuck on the day of check-out, but still worked, so not too big of an issue there. Wi-Fi requires a special code that you can get from the reception. My first code strangely stopped working after two days, but was promptly rectified after I informed the reception of the issue. There were no other connectivity issues for me. The hotel location is pretty near to the Venetian Port, and the Rocca Fortress; it is also walking distance away from the main shopping street in Heraklion and lots of good eating places nearby. There are also supermarkets nearby to get water as well. It does get quiet at night, but I did not encounter any incidents that made me feel unsafe. My room came with buffet breakfast included, which is served in the main building. Breakfast starts service from 7 am onwards, and was generally quite crowded at the start. Depending on the crowd level, the staff will occasionally open up a new section of the dining area. Breakfast was generally good, there was a good spread of American breakfast items, to pastries, ham and cheese and even Greek yogurt with a lot of condiments. It varied a little bit from day-to-day, but was generally the same for the most part.

For the price, this is a fantastic hotel. Right on the water with beautiful views, located near the highway and close to (but not in) Heraklion. Renovated recently so everything is still in good condition. The food at the restaurant was very good and also the most affordable of our entire trip in Greece. Seriously, our whole dinner was the same price as coffee and croissants at the airport. The only downside is that parking was overcrowded on the weekend when all the locals came to the beach. Given the low prices, I highly highly recommend getting an ocean-view room. Ask for the third or fourth floor because our second story view partially looked out into the restaurant.

The Aquila Atlantis Hotel has been synonymous with the development of the city for 50 years attracting celebrities and people from all walks of life. The hotel was redeveloped in 2013, and has a calming decor and colour palette, providing a relaxing bar/lounge area in the lobby, fantastic views over the city from its rooftop pool, spacious and modern rooms, and professional, friendly staff.

We had booked The Olive Green Hotel three years ago, but Covid intervened. However we were delighted to visit in May. It was all that we had hoped for. Centrally situated in Heraklion, the hotel was ideal for our five day stay. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. (Our ferry had arrived at 6 a.m. but we were invited to have breakfast after checking in). We also had dinner in the bar on two occasions and that was both good and well priced. We would certainly return if we visit Heraklion again.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience and I would surely recommend it to anyone who’s searching for a luxurious hotel to spend their free time. First of all, the staff was really kind, they always have smiles on their faces and they make you feel like home with their will to do anything that you can think of. I can clearly see the improvement they’ve made on every sector of the hotel in comparison with last year. Moreover, even the food menu is better as we tried some new special flavours that matched the elegant form of the hotel. Dining at the restaurants Makuti and Umami were two of the experiences that created in me the need to stay. Last but not least, Mrs.Anastasia Deligianni was the source of the positive energy for all the staff, as she first welcomed us with a very big smile. Of course I will come again as it was my favourite one out of all the hotels I’ve been to.
