Spacious and well resourced apar**ent. Manager Julieta very helpful, recommended some great restaurants and trips to do. Costas and Mary lovely hosts. Agios Nikolaos a beautiful spot to spend time in and the apar**ents are close to the centre of town and the beach. A lovely place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this family-friendly hotel. It is well-located and walking distance to all the main attractions, in a safe, quiet area of the city. Maria and Kostas are very kind, attentive hosts who go to extra lengths to make you feel welcome and ensure that you enjoy your stay with them and feel at home.

Probably the greatest welcome we've ever experienced when checking into a hotel! Kostas and Maria were very helpful providing information on things to see and do in Crete. The accommodations were comforable and we were fortunate to have a great view of the bay from our balcony. Parking can be challenging, so be prepared to park your car on the street somewhere.

Our experience at Mantraki Apar**ent/hotel was very satisfying. We were warmly greeted by Nektaria, who provided us with multiple options for visits in the area. Then we were treated with meeting Maria and Kostas, fresh from an evening swim. They assured us that we were now members of their family. Our room was terrific with a large refrigerator, excellent sleeping arrangements, and a beautiful view from our balcony. While we were at Mantraki, we were treated to a musical performance from Kostas, friends, and a special song with Maria. We also were extremely blessed to view the Byzantine Church through a special tour with Kostas. If you are in Agios Nikolaos, you must stay at Mantraki Hotel Apar**ents, where you are not a tourist, but are embraced as family!

Mantraki Apar**ents We found this hotel by chance a few years ago. What a find! The owners, Kostas and Maria are so welcoming. We now call them our friends. If you are lucky, Kostas will invite you to share in one of his musical evenings. He is an accomplished accordion player. When we were there this time we were treated to a wonderful performance where he was joined by his wife, Maria and a professional bazouki player. The deluxe suites on the top floor give the best view of the sea.

During our 15 day stay we had the opportunity to experience 3 of the 4 distinct types of accommodation in this wonderful environment each of which is highly recommendable. The facilities in all rooms are very well thought out, courtesy of Maria, and are more than adequate for all needs. The family who own the aparthotel and their staff enjoy going the extra mile to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of their clientele. On a number of occasions we were able to enjoy music performances by Costas, Maria and a number of their friends. Costas is a professionally trained musician. We thoroughly recommend this venue for anyone wishing to stay in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, and indeed have already booked our return for next year.

Such a typical and charming place. The warm welcome, the kindness of the owners, the local charm, the convenient location... this place has a long story and a beautiful spirit. The apt is big with a balcony view. Also I forgot my glasses and they nicely offered to ship it back to the USA as a gift, before I even asked the favor.

The apar**ent was spacious with a nicely stocked kitchen and balcony. We managed to park in the lot at the hotel. The hotel itself was located very near a beach and within 10 min stroll to town. However what really made Mantraki a wonderful stay for us was the hospitality of the owners and staff. Costa and Maria shared their love of music with us and Julita, Leontine and others went above and beyond with recommendations and kindness. Do not hesitate to stay here!
