We used the taxi app Pick Me to take a taxi in Galle, and then took the bus to Mirissa. In fact, as long as it is not the rush hour, the conditions of their buses are passable. Much cleaner than India, maybe there will be surprises

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay although in some respects it was inferior to other hotels I stayed in on the holiday. The pools were great and so was the view from the room. The room itself was alright - quite basic but sufficient. We did have problems with a leak in the ceiling which was promptly addressed by staff but still a little annoying. In general the staff were lovely: in particular Chamindu in the restaurant, a security guard who called me and my partner over to show us turtles on the beach (sorry, can't remember his name) and the guy working the sunloungers at the lower pool. The weakest part was probably the food. It wasn't bad exactly, it was just worse than the food in all the other hotels I stayed in.

I arrived at the hotel very early in the afternoon, and I printed the order number (English version) of Ctrip, but it was still delayed for a long time. But we upgraded the room type: sea view room (room 206). The check-in experience was still great. Because the previous nights were reserved for special hotels, I chose Asia Leisure for the last night because it is a new hotel in 2018. It is indeed new and I was not disappointed. Meals: Two restaurants, we ordered food and spent 26,000 rupees, which is still very cost-effective. Breakfast is a cafeteria, and children need to make up the difference. Location: 15 minutes walk from Galle Fort, it is very convenient to go there by tutu for 300-400 rupees. Supporting facilities: The sight of the outdoor swimming pool is great, you can see the sea view and the towering ancient city, because it is located in the air outlet, it is only open until 8 o'clock every night. The types of equipment in the gym on the G floor are average.

The hotel is very close to the Marriott. It can be seen from the beach. The service staff are very friendly (the front desk person with fat eyes and round eyes is super nice). This place has a lot of surfers from all over the world! Great! The breakfast is rich and delicious

We have heard extremely positive opinions from the participants of our trainings regarding both the facility and the service provided. If you are planning a holiday, business meetings, training or a conference in Sri Lanka, I highly recommend to stay at the Thaproban Pavilion Hotel. It is a beautiful and distinctive facility located in an unusual place. I am convinced that we will return soon during the next foreign training courses in this region of the world. So many reviewsby people needing the assistance of the manager & staff. For what? One person said they had the manager's phone number to call 24/7. Why? Reception provide you with an information sheet. This hotel must have to deal with so many needy, ignorant, clueless people. Can't blame the hotel for having a generic response to reviews. All the staff at reception & restaurant were friendly, well trained & helpful. My room was clean & spacious. Wardrobe & a long shelf with minibar spirits, kettle & free water. Everything worked fine. Lighting was good. The balcony had a table & 2 chairs. The bed had clean linens, 4 pillows, 2 cushions & provided me with a comfortable sleep. There was a power point on one side. Breakfast was a buffet with an egg station so you won't go hungry. I had dinner one night at the restaurant having ordered yellow fin tuna which was very nice. Staff were attentive & provided excellent service. The pool is a decent size & well maintained. Overall, I had an enjoyable & comfortable experience at what is a true 3 star hotel.

The room is large, the facilities are very good, the breakfast is relatively small, and it needs to be booked in advance. The dinner for 7 of us took an hour and a half to cook, and don't order local beef. It's too unpalatable to bite. I didn't eat at all, except for eating. The scenery is great, invincible sea view

Ce petit hôtel d'une dizaine de chambres est tenu par le patron et sa femme, tous deux très sympathiques. L'hôtel est situé tout près de la plage, dans une rue perpendiculaire à la rue principale, donc beaucoup plus calme!! Les chambres sont immenses, idem pour le lit XXL, au moins 2m20 de largeur! Très grande terrasse également... Le petit déjeuner est complet: toast avec beurre et confiture, omelette, thé ou café, salade de fruits ou jus de fruits frais selon les jours, du fromage blanc, et même de délicieuses crêpes au chocolat ou à la banane... Il y a beaucoup d'espaces par rapport au petit nombre de chambres, et c'est très bien comme çà. Le patron est exceptionnellement serviable, il sait toujours répondre à la moindre demande, il peut vous changer l'argent à un bon taux.... Tout était donc parfait !!!

The friendliest hotel ever! Located right on the beach with an excellent restaurant, this was such a winner. The best part is honestly the service - everyone is so lovely here and the staff are so welcoming and always ready to help. Special mention to our waiter Indunil who was an absolute gem! He helped us choose the freshest seafood for dinner and was so attentive with all our requests. We had the best dinner and best stay because of him! We didn’t even want to eat anywhere else because he honestly treated us like royalty and also made the best pinacolada we’ve ever had!! We can’t wait to come back to this hotel and stay for longer! Our only regret is staying for only one night. Highly recommend this beautiful place 😊
