My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the ”Mary Elizabeth” room for two nights during peak fall leaf season in Allegany St. Park! I would recommend Gallet's House because it was everything a B&B should be, at a very reasonable price. Joan was a lovely host who handled the booking, the payment and cooked delicious breakfasts for us, with care to provide gluten free options for my husband. The room was cozy, classy, very clean and extremely comfortable, decked out with Roku TV, jacuzzi tub, modern shower, king size bed with comfy bedding. Joan was able to recommend nearby restaurants, which were both excellent, and she delighted in telling us about the family history of the old home, how they completely renovated it in 1998, and how her children and grandchildren have all helped. I would recommend it to anyone looking to avoid the ****** or any other chain hotel for a more homey place to stay when visiting the Southern Tier of NY.

They are always so friendly and extremely helpful in every way. They always make sure your needs are met 100%. The staff Jennifer and Linda go that extra mile and friendly. My opinion this hotel is the best in town

Clean Hotel and very nice room with 2 double beds. Front desk staff were friendly and professional. I loved how they kept their coffee carafes in the lobby full and serviced all day long! I didn't stay for breakfast but I can imagine it was great also. I dont travel alot and hadn't stayed in a Best Western in years but I definitely will again. In my opinion 5 stars.

The hotel is very good, the only downside is that the city is too small, there is no Uber and taxi, the car can be called a transportation company, there are not many choices. Opposite the hotel is Pizza Hut, very convenient. It is a location in the city center.

The hotel front desk and all staff provide excellent service👍. The hotel's location is very advantageous and the transportation is very convenient! 👍Breakfast is very rich! The boss is very nice
