Best Hotels in Alor Malai, Malaysia

The floor was sticky. The bathroom wall was clear glass. You can see-through. They provided blinds but it was not properly positioned. Not suitable if you come with family or friends. How ever the room was spacious & the bed was clean & comfortable to sleep in.

Superb! Really recommended! Strategic location and there a lot of shops down there which you can eat, there supermarket, convenience store, restaurants, deserts, cafes and lot more. The room as per advertised in the website. The hospitality is really good and functionable. The space is quite huge beyond the expectation and the price is affordable. Water heater not functioning, so everyday i have my shower with cold. Take premium parking and paid RM30, but 3 times i go and out, need to lift that heavy stand alone. Their staff just watching from inside. Hotel not well maintain, toilet got many stain. Even guest toilet at lobby dirty. Breakfast just middle range good.

The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Food and other facilities are satisfactory. It was pleasant stay at Raia Hotel & Convention Centre Alor Setar

i was your long stay guests. i stayed for 8 nights. the management should really look into the cleanliness of the room. i do understand that we're under MCO before this, but the management shouldn't neglect room cleanliness. because of the cleanliness, my baby got ring worm infection. the F&B also need to be train again. never ever forget what is in your menu and make the guests wait for their orders especially room service order. i ordered Nasi Goreng Cakar Rimau set if I not mistaken. the set comes with drink. unfortunately when they send it to my room, there is no drink. i go down to restaurant and asked if there is any drink for the set, and the staff they said yes. i noticed that there are not feel responsible for what happened. hello ..!! I'm your in-house guests and a long stay guests. please have a bit of hospitality sense. there is one incident that i will never forget. the menu if I'm not forget is Dara Pujaan set. it basically half boiled eggs. i ordered two times. the 1st one coming without bread. the second one was the worse. they give me raw eggs for the set. so, after that incident, i decided to order from outside. i have ordered a few meals from Food Panda and i asked for plate from the restaurant. they give me plastic fork and spoon which is in my opinion it's not really appropriate. the staff who answered the phone should be more polite. the way they not to say rude, but then more to unfriendly. reception also need to be more alert. since the hotel allowed food delivery from 3rd party, the reception need to show a good customer service by calling the guests room to pickup the package. it's a good gesture. no harm to do that. i stayed on 4th floor. the maid for 4th floor was very good and helpful. i forgot to asked her name. i hope the management look seriously into their service. don't embarrass PKNK

This is my second time staycation at Urban In, Jitra with my family. The price is affordable. The internal design was very nice. Calm and clean. Yeah, the room is small, but it cause no trouble to us. Still comfortable to sleep. There are a lots of shop nearby Urban In. We can choose variety of food selling nearby. Just name it - Pizza, Cake and Pastry, Cloth and shoes, nasi goreng, nasi berlauk ... For parking, we can buy the parking ticket at nearby shop which sell the parking ticket. We can choose either, daily ticket or by hours ticket. As for us, we bought daily ticket. It's only RM3 per day parking.

The only problem is the shower water is not too hot, just a little warm. Otherwise good.

We booked this hotel as we have an early ferry trip to Kuala Perlis Jetty to catch the next morning. We booked 2 rooms including one with a balcony. The rooms were very clean with high quality linens, basic amenities and Young Living diffuser. One room had bottled plain water, the other one didn't have. But this is not an issue since they offer free local snacks and drinks from their fridge at the lobby. The toilets (including the one at the lobby) were super clean. There is no bathroom door, only curtain so if privacy is an issue you might want to book a separate room. The hotel has reserved parking spots in front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic, they offerred delicious nasi lemak, toasts and cereals. The issue here is that there is only one table with 3 chairs and one bench to accommodate all guests. During our stay the family who was sitting there took their own sweet time chatting after they were done, and ignoring the fact that other people were standing up waiting for them to leave. Some people can be inconsiderate urghhh. The hotel might want to reconsider the lobby cum dining space arrangement. I accidentally left my camera and the staff called me up to inform me and they kept the camera until I could come to collect it later. Major point there. Thank you👍🏻

It's a great location, clean and sorted . staff was very supportive especially at front desk . Amazing housekeeping service specially. F&B department is also great F&B Manager and all staff.

Receptionist xfriendly. My bilik dekat 2nd floor. I touch kad nak masuk tapi xboleh. I terpaksa turun balik utk tukar kad sbb dia salah xunlock kad tu and without said sorry or anything. Receptionist yg cina tu suara bingit sakit telinga. Dua2 dekat kaunter xreti nak senyum langsung! Bilik bersih tapi cermin berkerak. Pool je yg best.
