Adventureland Inn

For the room price, it’s okay. The pools are on bad shape, disgusting and under kept. Two of the kids we had sliced their foot open on something in one of the pools (another reason we didn’t swim long). One of the jacuzzi’s was down. The room with the kid pool was FREEZING. We stayed in the other pool room but all in all only swam for about two hours. We went during spring break in hopes that they would have the swim bar open (considering they had spring break packages) but it was closed. While we was in the pool, I noticed a “lifeguard” get down off her post, walk around to the stairs (all while not speaking a word or whistling or trying to get anyone’s attention) and by then I was scanning the pool to notice a little girl bobbing up and down trying not to drown because she was in too deep of water. I began to holler to the parents in the area that there was a child who couldn’t reach and thankfully the parent was able to reach the child. I’m not sure what the point of the lifeguards are if they are not going to do their job and alert those around them or even attempt to help the child. Another huge turn off was that I opted to pay for my room when I arrived. When I got there the front desk staff told me that the card on file had already been charged. I asked why, considering it wasn’t my card on file, he said it was their policy. That is not the policy that I read when I booked the room. It said that I would be paying at the site upon arrival.

The only thing that was a disappointment was that the pool area that had the swim bar was not open either day that we were there due to lack of lifeguards.

We liked the pools. We wished it had breakfast included. We liked that we could swim while waiting for our room to be ready when we got there early and being able to swim after we checked out. The staff were helpful and kind when we needed anything.

We had a poolside room, but the pool was not open while we stayed there. We paid for a poolside room when we booked it, but they did adjust the price to a regular room after not having a pool available to us. We thought that was a fair trade.

You have to pay for breakfast but then they run out of everything such as specific food or juice and they don’t make more.

The hotel room itself was very clean and nice. The hallways were gross. Not gonna lie. The pool areas were decent. All in all a fairly good place. But definitely too expensive for the quality. Also I bought a birthday package which included 2 large pizzas and 2, 2liters of soda. There was literally only coke, Diet Coke, and sprite for the options for drinks. Then the pizzas were very small and they only give you only like 5 tiny cups and plates. So bring your own.

This hotel is not well cared for. There is garbage everywhere outside - its obvious there is no outside maintenance or grounds keepers. The inside is not much better. The hallway carpets are disgusting, looks like they have never been cleaned let alone vacuumed. The room was less than mediocre. Sinks didn't drain well. You can tell they were made with cheap furnishings as they don't hold up well near moisture (seems like being poolside rooms they would use something a little more water resistant). Spoke to a cleaning staff member and they were less than friendly. Hot tub was gross. Wouldn't consider staying again.

Amy was a big help. She was patient even though she had a line 3 miles long. She was patient and cared about everything that was going on.

our family had a lot of fun with three pools and arcade. They swim up bar was a really cool additive, but very pricey, so just a heads up. The drinks are really good and they have alcohol free drinks for the kiddos. The life guards and staff at the swim up bar were wonderful. The worst part of our stay was that all hours of the day and night there were children running up and down the halls and banging on walls. The room next to us was also extremely loud until about one a.m and started back at 6 am. The adults and kids were screaming, yelling, talking loud and banging/jumping. It kept my kiddos up all night as well as us. The hotel did give us all free breakfast from due to our neighboring room being this way. Overall we had a fun time.
