Beautiful seafront property with the most breath taking views from our villa. We woke up to an amazing ocean view every day. Service was fantastic and food was delicious. Only down side to this property is location is quite remote and generally you can see the age in the furniture etc. The access to Sundays beach club was a nice perk!

Location is quite secluded, not much amenities near the resort and the road up is narrow and windy. But the view from the resort is breathtaking. We booked the ocean view villa and it has the best view of the ocean and the beach. The villa is clean with huge toilet, walk in wardrobe, tub and outdoor shower.. Service is excellent as well.

It can satisfy all your fantasies about Bali Cliff Hotel. The 1,500-square-meter villa is perfect for a large family. The housekeeper is also very considerate and helps you arrange everything.

The room is a bit old, but the decoration style is very classic The housekeeper is very caring, but whatsapp is needed to communicate, it is recommended to download it in advance The highlight of the hotel is the private beach, which is very famous. It’s very convenient for guests to have priority. They don’t want to go anywhere when they lie down. The food is delicious, the price is slightly more expensive than other places, but it is worth it

Nice experience

Really loved this hotel! The room was very well decorated, clean and spacious. The staff was nice and helpful. The clifftop views were amazing. Very peaceful. The beach club (which you can access for free as a resident) was very nice too. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful Staff wonderful place wonderfully relaxing. Lots of room lots of privacy. Lots of choices around for good dining. Get out of the hustle and bustle and enjoy life. The beaches are cleaner and white sand this side try to avoid some of the rowdy clubs that are on the beach Sundays is a cool club and worthwhile visiting for paddle boarding etc. Kendra and Hari were fantastic. The beds could be a bit softer, and some tropical maintenance is needed, but the pure luxury and views make you forget that quickly

Hey fellow travelers, I just have to share our amazing experience at The Ungasan Resort, specifically at Villa Nora. We've been lucky enough to travel the world and stay in some stunning places, but The Ungasan is something else. This trip was extra special as we were celebrating my wife's 50th birthday, and it was the perfect setting for such a milestone. When you check out the website, the views and villa layouts look incredible. But let me tell you, when you're actually there and you look out over the ocean and hear the sound of waves in the distance, it's truly something. We all felt the same each day we spent there... Absolute perfection. The staff's attention to detail is beyond. Imagine waking up, going for a quick swim and coming back to find your room already made up – and this is at 9 am! It's the small things that make a huge difference. They somehow anticipate your needs without being intrusive. Heading out for lunch? The staff is ready with buggies to whisk you away to Sundays, where you're greeted with big, warm smiles. The food here is fantastic – every dish is a hit. We even asked for some in-villa cooking, and the villa manager shopped for ingredients, adding them transparently to our bill. When we hadn’t finished what we had bought or what was left, they even suggested recipes like beef rendang to ensure we didn't waste any food. This level of care and sincerity is rare and makes you just want to come back again and again. I noticed that some might talk about the resort's seclusion, but we found it more of a blessing. The tranquillity here beats the busy streets of Seminyak any day. But getting to places like Jimbaran Bay for surfing lessons was a breeze, just a 20-30 minute drive. Or if you wanted to go to Savaya day club etc there are all close by. We did however spent most of our time between Sundays (sunset evenings with fire pits for the kids with smores) and rose for the adults. Special thanks to Brendan (GM), Kylie (guest services manager), and Anik (villa manager). Their efforts made our stay incredibly special. We're already dreaming of our next visit to The Ungasan – it's not just a stay, it's an experience etched in our hearts. Cheers to The Ungasan – a true gem in paradise!

We just came back from spending a few days at the cliff top resort in Ungusan, and it was perfection. The venue was flawless and the staff was amazing. Our butler, Wis, was impeccable. He attended to all our needs and was very pleasant. They surpassed all our expectations. I highly recommend this resort. If we go back, we will definitely ask for Wis again.

WOW! Talk about the best first stop on our honeymoon ever. The resort is stunning at every single turn. The staff is soooo nice and accommodating. Brendan and Martin went out of their way to make us feel special. The daily breakfast was out of the world. You also can’t beat the access to Sundays Beach club. Prepare to have your breath taken away. Thank you to all the staff who made the start to our trip one we will never forget. I do not have one bad thing to say about this slice of heaven.

This is a truly wonderful property with the most spectacular of villas and views. Great surfing close by, lots of restaurant options and some cocktails and beach day fun at Sundays club. We absolutely loved chilling at the villa though and the butler service could not be better. Our butlers were incredible and available in the villa all day and also WhatsApp for anything we needed. Thank you to Awan and Nara our butlers who were exceptionally kind and attentive. Food in the villa was delicious and the rooms were super comfortable. We were upgraded to Santa Sotoria as there was a wedding on so we were moved away from the noise but the villa was really truly exceptional. See pics. Good value actually for the number of rooms and really seriously beautiful.

We're pleased to stay 3 nights in this beautiful resort. We really had a wonderful experience! Let it be the nicely decorated villa, the private pool or this breathtaking view from the cliff to the ocean. Everyday we were waking up hearing the waves - soooo wonderful :) All this comes for a price, however its absolut worth it! No need to leave the resort because everything you wish for will be done by one of the best staff's we have ever met. If you would like to discover the island just get in touch with the front desk or your butler. They'll arrange everything for you! We started out our 14 nights long travel to Bali with 5 nights at The Ungasan. Potentially not the best choice to do. Reason being it was so good we have been struggling with the remaining of our stay to feel as pleased as we did at the Ungasan. We arrived in the evening and had a smooth check in. Further, we had our villa upgraded which was a nice surprise. The butler service was amazing throughout the stay. Any little thing you’d want and they would sort it for you. Cleaning was impeccable and was done each morning by the time you had your breakfast. The plunge pool Vila was beautiful and well kept. It offered privacy and the amenities you’d need. The outdoor area was nice for in Vila relaxation. Having Sunday beach club included in the stay was such a great touch. The beach is by far the best I’ve seen I. Bali. Clean sand and blue water. You have your own guest VIP area reserved meaning you always have a space there. The food at the Ungasan restaurant blew our minds. It almost feels silly to say but through our 14 nights in Bali we never found equally good Indonesian food as we had there. The satays, beef rendang and Nasi goreng was to die for. The chef know how amazing they are because I still dream of those dishes. I can’t rave enough about this hotel. If you can go stay there and get a great experience.

Seamless quality and customer service We went for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for more. Short drive from DPS airport, staff is friendliest hotel staff I've experienced. They cater to your every need and you can text a dedicated butler any time of day for room service, taxi requests or any other general inquiries. We started in Ubud then drove south for the bulk of our stay at the Ungasan. The room service was great and having daily access to Sundays beach club for their food and atmosphere was an added perk. As a tennis player it was also great that they had a grass tennis court on property and free to reserve. Once the room is reserved, expenses incurred once at the resort and surrounding towns are very manageable given the quality you are getting. Can't wait to go back and this was well worth the travel time from USA.
