Hotels in Legian, Bali

A very nice hotel in a great location. I did not give the full points as unfortunately they did not have the room available that I booked and the one they offered as an alternative was besides the road and very noisy. So we did have to move after one night. But besides this annoying hickup the hotel is pretty and the squirl and fish feeding were really popular with the kids. If you are a bit sensible to noise try to avoid rooms/bungalows close to the main road. (The road along the beach is not busy and no problem) We will actually stay there again at the end of our trip. Hope that everything goes smoothly then!

4 Star hotel at a reasonable price on busy Legian st. Great Breakfast and reception was friendly and helpful. Especially Dinda. She checked us in , welcoming, friendly and genuine. Very rare in Indonesia!! The room advertised as a family room although clean and modern it was small and cramped insufficient space for our luggage with ab almost ridiculously large round table crammed between the large bed and single. The bathroom was compact to say the least a completely modular fiberglass unit.. Sitting on the toilet my arm was against the sink bench and the the toilet paper was under sink bench and difficult to reach. The ac, tv and bed all good. Roof pool was clean and a shaded area provided relief from the sun. Breakfast was great although some of the local guest are very rude, a local guest took my toast out of the toasted with their hands and just put it on the bench. I order fried eggs and an Indonesia guy just took them..they are impatient and dont know how to queue some strange behavior. Parking a motorbike in the basement car park was a daily challenge. 50 + motorbikes and staff would move it. Had to play find-a-bike every day. Last day our bike was 3 deep, I had to move 4 wheelie bin to get it out. The Security just stood and watched! I dont think I would like to stay more than 3 or 4 days here, it's a bit cramped.

Perhaps it's unavoidable given that Legian itself seems to be in decline, but there's no lively atmosphere here. Right after you enter from outside, there's an area where smokers gather, and the two pools are jam-packed with large guests covered in suntan oil. Generally, it's not a very appealing sight (though this isn't the hotel's fault). The room's interior and the vanity area show their age, but they were well-cleaned, and there wasn't the typical bad odor often found in Balinese accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay at Astera Villa Seminyak by iNi Vie while celebrating our anniversary. The villa was beautiful, private, and very comfortable — the perfect place for couples looking for a romantic getaway in Bali. A special thank you to Astrid, who was incredibly warm, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Her hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful flower bathtub setup and the romantic candlelight dinner, which created such a lovely and unforgettable atmosphere. The team truly paid attention to every detail to make the evening special. We also loved the creative mee goreng served during room service — it was delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, the service, romantic arrangements, and relaxing environment made our anniversary celebration truly memorable. We would highly recommend Astera Villa to couples visiting Bali.

Room is quiet and clean, with hot showers with soft drink replenish daily. The breakfast was a great buffet, hot Americano, fresh juice as you wish, egg stations, soto station, nice cooked mushroom with plenty of bread.

The facilities are comprehensive, ranging from a swimming pool and children's play area to a restaurant with a diverse menu. The hotel environment is also well-maintained, safe, and provides a comfortable atmosphere for families. The cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms, and public areas is impeccably maintained, which is a crucial factor for a family hotel. The breakfast offered is quite varied and delicious. The hotel's location is also strategic, making it easy to access various places. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and made us feel right at home. Pleasant stay that feels too short. It is near many food shops, so buying food is convenient. The kids enjoy the plunge pool as it is longer than others. Breakfast selection is also good. They can also arrange massage at your own villa if you wish. It was fully booked so we couldnt get late check out although we checked in late. Basically at 11:30 they remind us that check-out is at 12. A bit feel we were driven away, but understandable.

We enjoyed our stay here for the most part. The location was good. It was close to food and beach. The room is very affordable. We do recommend updating the linen and towels. Every day we had issues with dirty linen and towels. Ether they need better laundry services or replacing older stained ones with new ones. The dishes and cups also need better cleaning. We liked the fruits being offered at the morning breakfast. However, sometimes food service was slow to refill, eggs to order was appreciates but need to clean the frying pan in between orders to make sure is clean & better tools like a proper spatula to flip the eggs.

Great location, close to beach. Older facility, a little tired, but good value and clean. Could do with a safe in room, not a big issue, deposit box at reception. Included breakfast is sufficient. Poolside service is good price and attentive friendly staff.
