I found 101 Fontana Hotel to be exceptional value. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Seminyak's best cafes, boutiques, and the beach. The included breakfast was a real highlight, with a great mix of Western and local Indonesian dishes to fuel a day of exploration. Best of all is the staff, who are genuinely warm, attentive, and always happy to help. For a comfortable, convenient, and affordable stay in the heart of the action, I can't recommend 101 Fontana enough. It's a gem.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Satisfying Stay This hotel is truly perfect for a family vacation. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable, ensuring both children and adults can rest peacefully. The hotel staff are friendly, responsive, and always ready to assist with guests' every need. The facilities are comprehensive, ranging from a swimming pool and children's play area to a restaurant with a diverse menu. The hotel environment is also well-maintained, safe, and provides a comfortable atmosphere for families. The cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms, and public areas is impeccably maintained, which is a crucial factor for a family hotel. The breakfast offered is quite varied and delicious. The hotel's location is also strategic, making it easy to access various places. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and made us feel right at home. Perhaps it's unavoidable given that Legian itself seems to be in decline, but there's no lively atmosphere here. Right after you enter from outside, there's an area where smokers gather, and the two pools are jam-packed with large guests covered in suntan oil. Generally, it's not a very appealing sight (though this isn't the hotel's fault). The room's interior and the vanity area show their age, but they were well-cleaned, and there wasn't the typical bad odor often found in Balinese accommodations.

Not much to share, it's an old hotel, location is good, along Legian area, matured garden, they provide breakfast but I never tried it, mattress is too soft for me, not good for people with back issues, the rest are ”as is where is” situation for an old hotel..

It was very great experience, it was clean, air con worked well, quite because it was about 150 meters from the main road but easy to go everywhere. Big parking space. Good pool. But you need to call reception to borrow a hair dryer

It was a great little hotel in the centre of lots of shops, restaurants etc. a quiet oasis after a day touring. Lovely staff and good value for money. Highly recommend it!!

The location is great, also Andika Ok are nice and patient, one day we need to go out early they prepared breakfast box for us, nice service!!

The room is clean and a non-smoking area. However, the main issue is the staff’s attitude, especially the large Chinese receptionist, who had a kind of annoying expression. They asked for a deposit. I didn’t have any cash in rupiah, so I offered to pay in dollars, but he refused. He then tried to take my ID as proof and hold onto it. I said no and offered my driver’s licence instead, but he refused again, saying it was expired. I even offered to transfer the money using BCA banking, and he still refused. So I had to look for the nearest ATM at 11 PM, almost midnight?! In the end, he took my driver’s licence with an annoying expression on his face.

The hotel is just 2 years old only but the hotel staff are nice and helpful. The hotel is also near by the Legian beach within few minutes walking distance.The bed is comfortable and room is clean . I like the vibe of this hotel . Nearby also has a lot of restaurants . Thank you Bu April for assisting while I’m staying there

As a solo male traveler whose sole purpose was to chase waves, I found POP! Hotel Kuta Beach to be a surprisingly good basecamp. For just $17 a night, it's an absolute steal, offering far more value than its price tag suggests. The hotel itself is a cozy, meaning it's got a unique, no-frills charm that works perfectly for a surf trip. My room was clean and tidy, and the air-conditioning was a lifesaver after a long day in the tropical heat. One of the biggest perks was the Netflix access, which was a great way to unwind and chill out in the evenings. The only real area for improvement was the shower. While it did eventually get warm, it took a while for the heater to kick in, which was a minor inconvenience. However, given the ridiculously low price, it's a small trade-off I was more than willing to make. If you're on a tight budget and need a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to crash between surf sessions, this is it. You're getting incredible value for your money and a place that understands what a no-fuss traveler needs. I can't ask for more, really.
