Hotels in Schoneberg, Berlin

The hotel is modern and very beautiful. There are some restaurants in the immediate vicinity but most of them are not great. However, one bakery is superb (at the campus only a minute walk away). Very friendly staff (the courteous Mr. Kunal checked me in). Unfortunately the coffee which I got as a welcome drink was the worst coffee I had this year (embarassing).

The entrance to the hostel is an actual cafe! Thought that was cool. We booked for the 6 bed womens’ room, but when we got there, they told us it had been overbooked and upgraded us to a 2 bed room!! The room was very comfortable and had lots of sunlight coming in when we opened the blinds. We hadn’t brought towels but we were able to borrow them at the desk for €2.50 (I think? I don’t remember the exact amount but it was below €3 for sure!). The showers and toilets get a bit crowded in the morning but that was manageable. It’s very close to a bus station and in the same building as an ALDI so that was also very convenient!

I'm a frequent guest at this hotel and, as usual, it didn't disappoint. The only thing missing for a perfect stay is the spa, which has been under renovation for some time now.

Service: The front desk staff were warm and friendly. Cleanliness: The room was quite clean, and the facilities felt relatively new. Location: The hotel is close to the subway station and a commercial area, making it very convenient for getting around.

It was hit day in berlin 15th august 2026 (34-36 degree )air conditions in room was not working  when i complined about it hotel reception was not able to help me saying we not have another room to offer, then they offred me free brake fast that was ridiculous,  i have booked room for 3 nights and i have comined about that issue in first 10 min after check in,  when i compline about this to hotel via app hotel have rejectwd my cancellation request, luckily my friend has room in same hotel so i was able to share room with him  Thanks to trip.com who has helpes me to redund me 70% off my money , but hotel did nit care about their guest.  If there was somw other issues with room then i  have no rooms ti stay anywhere.  Please please  never ever book shyler hof berlin hotel even they are offering with 50% discount  once they have your money they dont care about you

The hotel is very well located and the room is wide and air-conditioned, the staff are friendly and helpful, but the room is all covered with a carpet that looks dirty and sweet, but I think it's worth staying. I recommend that anyone wants to be well located and not spend much.

The hotel's facilities are great: it's very close to the metro and bus stations, and there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It's also just a ten-minute walk to the Berlin Zoo. As for service: breakfast is included, and the croissants are delicious! (●°u°●) The coffee machine offers milk, coffee, and hot chocolate.

Advantages: Good location, close to both subway and bus stops; the front desk let me check in around 11 AM, which was nice. Disadvantages: 1. Very poor soundproofing; I could hear the neighbors showering and people walking upstairs. 2. The room had an unpleasant odor. 3. The bed creaks easily with the slightest movement. 4. The door handle is stuck; I have to slam the door shut. 5. The showerhead was broken, with water coming out from the side. 6. The room is very small.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this hotel. On average the reviews were ok, but there were some that had me a bit worried. However after staying here I can definitely say that I fully enjoyed my stay and have no complaints. Location: Excellent! The hotel is just off the main shopping street and has good access to transportation. There are shops, grocery stores and resturants in walking distance. Building: Yes it is an older building but it is well maintained. Sure it could use a few updates but there was nothing that I found wrong. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no air conditioning but this is expected in most older european hotels and a fan was provided. The shower was very clean, had good water pressure and good temperature. I saw a few people in other reviews complain about having to leave the keys when going out, but this is common in most older hotels in europe where actual keys are used insted of door cards. Its actually a good thing because it avoids you having to be responsible for it and paying a hefty fee to have locks changed if you lose the keys. Service: This was the real winner for me. Everyone was so friendly to me and very helpful. I felt welcomed and I really appreciated this. Price: the price was competative with the market. It wasn't the cheapest but was not expensive. It did offer good value for the price. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
