I was amazed by the friendliness of the receptionists - met two and both went beyond my expectation. The room was absolutely clean, so thank you goes also to the people taking care of the cleaning.. My double bed was comfortable, and while I have / my mistake / expected a bigger room I had seen in the pictures, being alone , my ”classic courtyard room was absolutely sufficient”. I liked the complimentary tea and coffee, and while the hotel provides a breakfast service - with places around the reception and a stress for the receptionists to take care of the service incl. cleaning, a drink and healthy snack as a good-bye on check-out was great. I have chosen the hotel due to the flexible policy as to possible changes ( I needed to cancel a night out of two originally planned), price - cheaper than Ibis Budget next door with far less comfort, as far as I remembered my stays at Ibis /which I liked as well/ - and the location as to what I needed and wanted to do was perfect.

Hotel with large, very complete and comfortable rooms, however it lacks a restaurant and perhaps some more amenities in the room, such as coffee.

The place is cozy and very clean! I stayed for a couple of noghts and all the staff was attentive. The room was excellent, warm and quiet. I will come back surely.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this hotel. On average the reviews were ok, but there were some that had me a bit worried. However after staying here I can definitely say that I fully enjoyed my stay and have no complaints. Location: Excellent! The hotel is just off the main shopping street and has good access to transportation. There are shops, grocery stores and resturants in walking distance. Building: Yes it is an older building but it is well maintained. Sure it could use a few updates but there was nothing that I found wrong. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no air conditioning but this is expected in most older european hotels and a fan was provided. The shower was very clean, had good water pressure and good temperature. I saw a few people in other reviews complain about having to leave the keys when going out, but this is common in most older hotels in europe where actual keys are used insted of door cards. Its actually a good thing because it avoids you having to be responsible for it and paying a hefty fee to have locks changed if you lose the keys. Service: This was the real winner for me. Everyone was so friendly to me and very helpful. I felt welcomed and I really appreciated this. Price: the price was competative with the market. It wasn't the cheapest but was not expensive. It did offer good value for the price. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

The stay at Motel One was good. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there is currently a building site next to the building for which it was very noisy. I will therefore soon be able to switch to another MO in Berlin.

The location is very good. There is a underground and bus station nearby. It’s somewhat close to the zoo and shopping area. There are many restaurants and cafes around it. The staffs are friendly. The room is spacious. However, it is a little old and towels seem to have not been changed for a while. Overall, it is still worth the money. I would stay there again.

I highly recommend this hotel; the breakfasts are excellent, and the metro station is nearby! The only thing is the room is very small, really small! The receptionists were great, they were always helpful with anything! The breakfast staff were also great, everyone was very efficient! When we ran out of food, they refilled it quickly!

The check-in instructions were unclear. I had to call up multiple times to receive the information.

Super comfortable hotel, clean rooms, everything well-aligned, location in the center close to bars and restaurants, breakfast should have been better but it was worth staying
