I’ve never left a bad review before but I feel I have to with this place. We are just back from a 10 night all inclusive stay. Some positives: We had a family room which was spacious and clean enough. The gardens in the hotel are beautiful. Ismail who sells the hammam is the best thing about the hotel. There were 5 of us, only 1 used the hammam and he did not hassle or pressure sell and after my husband had been, iso still took time to come and sit with us each night for a chat. He even gave my husband a lift into town when he didn’t need to. Hk Baran the pool guy took the time to smile at us (which was more than any of the other staff did) & got google translate up to try and communicate with the kids - a really nice guy. The water slides are on for a total of 4 hours a day, we made great use of these and the other two pools. Unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The food is terrible. Most AI aren’t great but this was shocking. Cold food, hardly any choice, not catered to British at all, which is fine but if you know you have British guests it’s not hard to chuck an option on for kids. Luckily my kids do try all food but it was largely inedible and we ended up paying hundreds of pounds to eat out during our stay. Which I was glad about after seeing the cats helping themselves to peoples plates and walking all over the food in the restaurant. The drinks are very limited in choice. 1 evening we asked for vodka to be told the bar shuts in 20 minutes and they don’t want to open a new one. They ran out of Pepsi, vodka, efes and didn’t care. The dining areas and pool sides are left with plates and cups - nobody seems to clean up. 1 of the 2 entertainment guys said hello to us - that was it. No interaction, the only entertainment was music which was largely Turkish. That’s fine - but they didn’t even translate their speaking for us which other animation teams do. They clearly don’t like English people and make it very clear. We were made to feel very unwelcome. I’ve never wanted a holiday to end before but with this one I was actually glad to leave. The two stars I’ve left are literally for the 2 staff members I’ve written about. I’d seen mentions of cats before but I wasn’t expecting the huge volume that were there. Constantly scavving for food both inside and outside the restaurant. I will also like to thank the on-site doctor who was very helpful when my son broke his nose coming off the slides and hitting the bottom (just an accident, no fault of the hotel). None of the pool side bars are open. The poolside cooking is advertised between certain hours only opened for one day. There’s no ice creams available. Fruit juice from the machine was warm. Waters were warm most days. Cleaners came and made the beds most days and sometimes changed the towels and bins, the floors did still leave our feet black though so not sure how much actual cleaning took place. I appreciate its coming to the end of the season but if you have guests booked
