AAnonymous UserWe stayed 2 nights there. It’s beautiful resort theme different from the hotels. Our room is very spacious and clean overlooking the mountain. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a variety and it’s delicious. There are cat and dogs which makes the place cosy. They have free pick up and drop off from hotel, daily to Wulingyuan town about 10mins ride. Free laundry service. Hotel staff even helped to make a trip to collect a delivery from warehouse. Thumbs up for their service! Thank u so much in making our stay a memorable one!

LLyndsey99Our stay here was perfect, what an amazing place! The staff are exceptional, and really care about guest experience. They provide transport to and from the east gate of the national park, and will help you plan your day. The service was perfect even down to the small details, like putting mosquito repellent out on the table we liked to play cards at, and providing us with a printed photo of our favourite memory there to take away with us. The room was great, the views were breathtaking. After a long day at the park, we really appreciated having a small swimming pool there for a dip. Food options were good - we enjoyed our dinners and the breakfast buffet. Orders can be placed in advance on WeChat when you are on your way back from a day at the park. There was a decent range of both soft and alcoholic drinks available. What we loved the most is that they have struck the perfect balance between luxury and a kind of homely comfort. We felt so relaxed here. An added bonus for us was their friendly dogs and cat, as we were starting to miss our own dogs at home by this point of our trip. The location was fantastic. It is close to the national park, but the views are so good that if you choose to relax at the hotel you won’t miss anything. If our room wasn’t booked for the following days, we would have extended our stay. One of our favourite places we have ever stayed, not just in China. Thank you to everyone at Celestial Vally for an excellent stay!

GGuest UserThe best place you can book👇🏻 I have been struggling with planning a trip to Zhangjiajie, there’s a lot of information online and so overwhelming. When I found this hotel, I checked the reviews and I immediately booked and it was the best decision! I arrived with my girlfriend and my parents, I booked 2 standard rooms, that looked great, but then we got upgraded for free, and the room was insane, everything voice controlled, a projector with movies, the bathtub with a view on the mountains, just wow. We were picked up from the airport and brought to the train station, everything went smooth! Once we arrived the team planned the itinerary for us, it took so much stress away from my shoulders. They booked the tickets, every day set us the exact route, booked a show for us that was mind blowing. Special thanks to David! He was so attentive and gave a 12/10 service. My mom got sick and he took us to the hospital, translated everything and took a great care of us, we felt like we were in really good hands. All the staff have pocket translators, so there was no language barrier, this is such a hidden gem, we spent 4 nights and it was the highlight of our trip. No brainer, 100% recommend!

XXiaoyaxiaotangyuan、The hotel is very close to Tianmen Mountain cableway, just a few yuan by taxi, so the location is great if you're visiting Tianmen Mountain. There's a shopping mall downstairs. It's close to the road, so there can be a bit of traffic noise, which might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. I wasn't a big fan of the rice noodles at breakfast, but everything else was really good. I'd recommend staying here.

The second I walked in, the front desk team welcomed me warmly and finished check-in in minutes—no tedious waiting at all. My room was impeccably clean, with a plush bed that had me sleeping soundly each night. Waking up to the faint view of Zhangjiajie’s lush mountains through the window was a lovely surprise, and the room’s quietness made it ideal for relaxing after day trips. The breakfast buffet shone with fresh options, from crispy pastries to hearty hot dishes, and the coffee was always smooth. What truly made this stay unforgettable was Service Steward Xiao Yu—he remembered my preference for early breakfast, helped arrange a timely taxi to the scenic area, and even left a note with local snack recommendations. I’ll 100% book Zhangjiajie Sunshine Hotel again on my next trip and can’t recommend it enough—especially if you get to be assisted by Xiao Yu!

CCharuka⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Truly the Best Stay in Wulingyuan! As a solo traveler, this stay took my trip to another level! A special thanks to the owner, who supported me from the moment I arrived. This is honestly the best place I’ve stayed so far. She helped me with everything—from booking tickets to planning my entire trip. With her proper guidance, I managed to explore all the main attractions within my limited time. Without her help, it would’ve been hard to organize everything so smoothly. I highly recommend booking your tickets directly through the hotel. She arranged my entrance ticket and an unlimited cable car pass at an affordable price, which also saved a lot of time. I didn’t have to wait in long lines—just a quick face scan and everything worked perfectly! Whenever I had a question or small problem, she was always available on text with quick and helpful suggestions. The place itself is affordable, clean, and very comfortable. If you’re visiting Wulingyuan, this place will definitely make your stay easier, happier, and stress-free. Highly recommend it!

Ttianbian****First off, I have to say, this is the best hotel experience I've had domestically. The views are incredible, directly overlooking Tianmen Mountain. My flight landed at midnight, but the butler patiently picked me up. At one point, I wanted to grab a bite and invited the butler to join me, but they politely declined, saying they had other guests to pick up. I really appreciate such a responsible staff member. I'm very satisfied with the hotel's facilities; I didn't encounter any cleanliness issues that some negative reviews mentioned. Perhaps that's more common during peak season. I visited during the off-season, and it happened to be a clear, sunny day, so the 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop was absolutely stunning. I imagine those who had a less-than-ideal experience probably visited on a cloudy day, which might make the hotel appear dated. Also, reading some of those negative reviews in the comments section genuinely made my head spin – are we even talking about the same hotel? For the price you paid, to get a hotel like this, shouldn't you be thrilled? If you're going to complain about everything, maybe don't travel at all. Seriously, I rarely find such a unique hotel in China. The last time I stayed at a hotel that was this delightful and relaxing was in Guilin, but that cost 1600 RMB. Honestly, if you manage to book this hotel, you should be secretly celebrating!

GGuest UserAs a newly married couple on a honeymoon, this hotel left us with perfect romantic memories. The intelligent guest control system creates a two-person world full of technology, and the toilet with heating and automatic cleaning functions allows us to completely relax after a long trip. Every morning, you can share a free and exquisite breakfast in the air garden full of flowers, and in the evening, you can walk ten minutes to the Wulingyuan landmark gate to enjoy the sunset. What surprised us the most was that the three cute cats seemed to know that we were newlyweds, and the little kitten would always tilt its head and curiously look at us, adding warmth and fun to our honeymoon trip.

GGuest UserHost is a super nice guy and very helpful. He helps you book your tickets as well as with communication and he has many good tips for you. Usually people hang downstairs, there are also three cute cats. Usually people order food and have dinner together. You will easily meet fellow travelers here. The place is otherwise very basic and could need repairs and more frequent cleanups. But that is not the focus here. The hostel is also close to the starting point to Tianmen mountain. PS: The package for the avatar mountains has hiked to 450 RMB including cablecars and elevator (you can use the ticket on 4 consecutive days). 12 RMB to take the bus to its south gate. You need two days to finish the avatar mountains. Then one more day for Tianmen mountain. Another day for the canyon, if you want.
