Naha Hotels with Breakfast

This hotel might seem a lot more expensive than other Naha city hotels, but it worth every penny & being one of our best stay in Okinawa. The large room does feel like a suite with the comfy sofa area equipped with a giant TV. We also enjoyed the large modern bathroom. The room deco & amenities are all sophisticatedly design. The hotel dining is top notch, make sure you book with their breakfast please! It turns out to be one of our best hotel breakfast in Japan. Not only they offer chef menu of sashimi rice bowl, the quality of buffet options are crazy, honey dripping from actual honey comb, 3 options of miso from different origins to make your own soup, wide spread of veggies, breads & teas… we skipped lunch after. We also had birthday dinner in “The Long Vocation” restaurant and we were quite impressed by their food & drink and service. We stayed over typhoon, & we were very glad to have chosen to stay in Southwest Grand which offer late check out, indoor pool & good variety of food. The location is gold, the only little issue is they don’t have car park on site and the closest paid one requires 1-2 mins walk outdoor. It maybe a little hectic during some weather condition. Big shout out to the 2 lady staffs who help guests with luggages at the entrance frighting over strong wind & heavy rain, they were amazing! We missed our stay already and do hope to stay at this hotel again when we revisit Naha, hope to able to use their outdoor pool in a better weather. Overall highly highly recommended!

July 2026 I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Naha, Okinawa, and had a fantastic experience. The location is incredibly convenient — it is less than a 5-minute walk to the lively Naha Kokusai Dori Shopping Street, making it easy to head out for food, shopping, and exploring at any time. The hospitality here is top-notch; every staff member I encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly. For anyone planning a road trip around Okinawa, the hotel offers on-site parking for an additional fee, which made managing our rental car incredibly stress-free. As someone who likes to keep up with a fitness routine, I was impressed by the gym. It is nicely renovated, clean, and the equipment was more than sufficient for my workout needs. Overall, it was a thoroughly pleasant stay. I would choose to stay here again on my next trip to Okinawa!

ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. The lobby looks good, but the hotel lacks attention to detail. **Service:** Check-in was handled by an English-speaking Indian lady. Upon arrival, I received a four-piece Pola amenity set, and I could pick up a comb and toothbrush at the front desk. The comb was of good quality, which was a nice touch. Since I arrived late and still wanted to go out, I didn't get a chance to use the hot spring (onsen). **Facilities:** It was a triple room, and as expected for a city hotel in Japan, it was quite small. My 24-inch suitcase couldn't be fully opened. There were some stains on the sofa by the window, and as other reviews mentioned, the toilet had a bad odor. The bathroom counter was also small. I won't be booking this place again.

The room size was decent, and after pushing the beds together, there was enough space to open a 32-inch and a 20-inch suitcase. The lobby had a good selection of toiletries, maintaining the usual Daiwa quality. The hotel's location is excellent; after exiting Makishi Station on the Yui Rail and turning right, you can follow the elevated walkway directly to the hotel's sign – it’s very convenient and easy to find. There's a local supermarket downstairs that we visited daily, and it's also very close to Kokusai Street, just a ten-minute walk. For a family of three, the price was reasonable, making it a highly recommended choice.

The twin room was very comfortable and spacious, with convenient facilities. The only drawback was the old hairdryer, which wasn't very effective. The hotel is just a two-minute walk from Kubokawa Station, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby. It's also super convenient for getting to the airport.

Clean, tidy, and a great location. The room was small but very well laid out, and the bathroom was quite spacious and convenient to use. However, the room was incredibly damp. Every night, there was a lot of moisture in the air, and despite being careful, the floor and walls would be covered in condensation. This was very uncomfortable.

I arrived in Okinawa on a late flight and used this hotel because I had an early morning flight to Taiwan the next day. The hotel is located in the international terminal, so it's a bit of a walk from the domestic terminal, but it was incredibly convenient for my early morning international flight. I mainly just slept, so I didn't use many facilities, but getting a 1000 yen Doutor ticket for breakfast was a huge plus, making it very convenient to grab a meal.

The hotel meets the standard and perfect for the budget. I found out a great bakery near by, just 1 min walk And there are bikes for u for free Very convenient to go to minimart down the road

The hotel is located in the city center, right next to a sports stadium. The elevated highway nearby can be a bit noisy due to heavy traffic. The hotel has its own parking, but the fee is a bit expensive at 1500 JPY per day. Overall, it offers medium value for money.
