An amazing, quiet retreat, away from the city. Breathtaking views so get the room with balcony! Hosts are generous with plentiful supplies of coffee, tea, bread, jam etc. a must stay if you’re passing by or in the area. A home away from home

Thank you to Ruth & Rory for the wonderful hospitality given to us on our 2 night stay at Shambhala. It was a pleasure to enjoy everything that they offered at the Guesthouse.
All the facilities were amazing and we didn't want for anything. Nothing was a problem for them. Would highly recommend to anyone heading down south.

We throughly enjoyed staying at this property, it is picturesque, the owners Ruth and Rory are lovely friendly people. Our brekky was so nice, homemade bread, cooked over night, the best. Lovely fire at night. The bed was so comfy. Overall a lovely experience.

As part of my job, I stay in many establishments but Shambhala would have to be one of the best. Everything is clean and very tidy with a warm and welcoming a**osphere. Rory and Ruth were very attentive and couldn't do enough to make my stay enjoyable. If you are staying in Bridgetown for a few days, I would recommend you give them a call.

We've stayed here before, and each time it's just great. We stayed in July this year to enjoy some winter weather - it was wonderful. There's a fire in the main sitting room which the owners keep going with real logs, and the views down into the valleys with mist in the morning are beautiful. Also, this time there were dinners offered, and these were delicious. It was nice not to have to go out for dinner if you didn't feel like it. Highly recommended.
