"Location is good. Takes 15 minutes to get to the station and 5 minutes to go to the city centre.
Looks old building but reception area was fine. Room was just okay and tiny. There is a drawer under TV but it hasn’t closed at all. It kept opening. Also I left message about allocating nice view due to special occasion but they didn’t read and they gave terrible view room. Was really disappointed. Toilet is also tiny when I showered the water has been came out all the time. I don’t think it is 4 star hotel…"
"The hotel is a very old building, somewhat like a B&B, with very old facilities. Old elevators and old room facilities. The rooms are larger, the beds are softer, and they are cleaner! Although the window is small, the bathroom is relatively large with a separate bathtub, shampoo and shower gel! There is a bar downstairs in the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly. Please note that the soundproofing in the hotel rooms is very poor. You can hear all the activities in the next room clearly. The noise in the bar at night is also very bad. Affect rest"
"The location is very, very convenient, there is a bus station next to it that goes directly to the airport, and it is in the city center. The hotel is comfortable.
There are supermarkets, banks, department stores, pharmacies, and different types of restaurants nearby, which is very convenient for tourists."

"Centrally located. Beautiful old building, with rather strange modern/industrial trusts in rooms. Regular double room was rather tight on space. Bathroom large and great shower. Bit chilly in the evening, an electric heater was provided but did not work. I discovered later that none of the (10!!) plug sockets in the room worked."
"The restaurant food was very poor quality and expensive, you would be better off getting food from the airport.
Breakfast was equally poor: if you are not at the front of the queue everything is gone and not replenished.
Overall I feel that hotel is taking advantage of monopoly position at Airport."
"Short weekend weekend trip to Bristol- location of this hotel is great, right in the middle of the city and also only 15 minute walk to Temple Mead station. The hotel exterior is very beautiful and the room was warm and comfortable. "
"The staff was helpful and and the location was close to the station. It was near the city centre and there were many restaurants nearby. Check out was easy as you just needed to put the key inside a box. Only one problem was the lacking of hair dryer, which should be supposed to have one in the suite."
"Breakfast is very good, bread and fruit juice buffet, as well as a pure English breakfast, free order, taste very good! Drinking tea to tea cups is very exquisite, a breakfast out of a holiday feel! A family of three, asked if they would like an extra bed when they arrive at the hotel? We didn't add it, so we gave us the largest double bed room. The room was not as soundproof as the comment said. Very quiet, right next to the suspension bridge. This is also the hotel we were most satisfied with for a month in Bristol!"
"The location is very good, across the road is the law school building, on the top of the famous big uphill, quiet in the noisy, the garden outside the hotel is very comfortable, breakfast is good.
The rooms are relatively small, the facilities are old, and there is no free parking lot."

Very Good
Lliz_chiniOne of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in the world. My family had a great time, and all the staff were friendly and helpful at all times.
RRuyangI had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The facilities were well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. A quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxing. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the station.
DDavidOur second stay - ideal city centre location, reasonable parking or £17 per 24 hours, clean rooms and communal areas, pleasant friendly staff.
Areas to improve - Breakfast has very little for vegans, no vegan sausages/bacon, oat milk is requestable though. The building feels a bit tired, needs some modernising hallways quite dark and dated

AAlisonGreat location hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast with plenty of choice. Located opposite cabot circus shopping centre with free parking at nearby multi storey.
We had a ok stay in an accessible room that comprised of a double bed and large sofa bed. Room was a little tatty and in need of renovation. Beds were poor, double had sagging mattresses but wasn't uncomfortable and matress on sofa bed was very thin and not very comfortable according to our 18 year old son. Facilities were very good as in plenty of clean towels, toiletries and bottled water, tea, coffee and biscuits.
I would stay again but if I'm honest I did feel it was value for money.
Ttravelling loverClean and tidy room services. After Bristol Air Ballon Festive , My family was happy living here with tasty breakfast and good location to reach out high street and town centre in ease. Recommended to visit again .
PPhilip0519I recently stayed at the Ibis Bristol Temple Meads, and overall, it was a satisfactory experience, particularly well-suited for solo travelers. Here's a breakdown of my stay:
**Cleanliness:** The hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness. My room was spotless, and the common areas were consistently tidy, reflecting the staff's commitment to hygiene and guest comfort.
**Convenience for Solo Travelers:** As a solo traveler, I found the accommodation to be more than adequate. The room, although modest in size, was well-organized and equipped with all the essentials, ensuring a comfortable and efficient stay.
**Location:** One of the standout features of the Ibis Bristol Temple Meads is its prime location. Situated conveniently close to Bristol Temple Meads railway station, the hotel offers easy access to public transportation and local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
**Parking Facilities:** Another notable advantage is the availability of 24-hour parking nearby. This is a significant benefit for those driving to the city, providing peace of mind and hassle-free parking during your stay.
**Overall:** While the hotel is on the modest side in terms of luxury and extra amenities, it excels in providing a reliable, clean, and convenient lodging option. It's a practical choice for solo travelers looking for a budget-friendly stay with all the necessary comforts and an excellent location in Bristol.
Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Ibis Bristol Temple Meads serves as a solid, no-frills option that delivers on the essentials.
GGuest UserThe staff are helpful and nice. It would be better for the room to have some refurbishment. It needs about 10 minutes walk to reach a small supermarket.

GGuest UserConvenient transportation, there is a bus stop downstairs, and there is a Chinese restaurant ”Meet and Greet” next to it. You can walk to the University of Bristol, and it is a ten-minute walk from the city center. The breakfast is quite rich

GGuest UserWe had the loveliest time here the staff were so lovely and friendly. It was about a 30 minute walk into town and if you are travelling into town at rush hour walking is the best way as the traffic was pretty bad.
The room we stayed in was beautiful and clean and tidy and we were blown away by the service from the staff it really was lovely infact I was shocked to find they were part of a group and not independent as it felt the kind of service you would get from an independent. The bar and restaurants were lovely and the building was so beautiful inside and out we had a really lovely stay toiletries were provided and they smelt beautiful. thanks so much we had a lovely time.
