When entering old fashioned fusty smelling carpet. First twin room given the beds where the type of single beds you find in a caravan on asking to move given a room in the extra rooms at the back of the house. Room slightly better double bed and a single bed, clean bedding , poor quality beds hard and uncomfortable, flat over worn pillows. Bath room extremely small, crusted up shower head, rusty peddle bin, mirror hung with a piece of green washing line. The room was reasonably clean but very dated and in need of decorating. The heating didn’t work but on request the owner fixed it and sorted the shower head to a degree. The bed side lamp plug was broken. One redeeming feature was the breakfast but only served between 8-9am so don’t go out enjoying yourselves to much because you don’t get a lie in. You may ask why we stayed, well we only stayed 2 nights out of the 3 we should have. We would have left straight away if we thought we would get our money back but we had a feeling we wouldn’t, so we put up with 2 nights. On the second night we hardly slept ending with bad backs and necks due to the beds. Although the owner dealt with our issues it certainly didn’t make up for the poor quality at £218 for 3 nights when we could have got into a better quality hotel. Our reason for choosing that venue was because it was near the family we were visiting. I realise that these type of guest house have passing through trade but we would be ashamed to have visitors thinking that this was the British Hospitality Standard. Limited parking

Cambridge is an expensive town. That said, the price of the room did not reflect the amenities or the size of the room. Basically, the bathroom was so small as to be useless, and the bedroom very poorly lit and felt cluttered. The hotel is on top of a very cozy pub near Jesus Green, and within a comfortable walk to city centre. The room was clean and relatively quiet (the pub/hotel are located at a big intersection with frequent traffic). It would be ideal if the room price was closer to 100£, rather than 200£…

We have used this Premier Inn on a number of occasions for an overnight stay on a return journey from family in Norfolk. The staff have always been very helpful and accommodating and can always be found if you have any questions or queries. The hotel is very well positioned, just two minutes off the A14. Rooms have always been to a high standard of cleanliness, so we can fully recommend this Premier Inn.

The environment and breakfast are excellent, and the transportation is relatively convenient; it is best to book dinner in the room price one day, which is more valuable

Travelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them. Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) . I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip. 😞

Some of the photos/reviews dont do the house justice. Yes in some areas its dated, but more importantly its clean and quite. Owner was incredibly friendly and happy to help however he could. Breakfast was continental with pleantly of choice so more than adiquate. Short walk in to town. I'm sure I'll be returning on my next visit! Only complaint was the pillows were a little firm for us: but thats preference!

We stayed a night in this college and felt like a student of Cambridge. The location was quite central. On the room nothing to exclude, not very recent but still beautiful furniture, with wood on the walls and moquettes. There was a worrying picture of those who were supposed to be students of Cambridge in the 1930s, but it did not create too many problems: the bathroom might be improved, the shower was plastic, and the cleaning was not perfect. The washing room was small and the water was hard to go out. There was a interior garden where you could sit to look and a coffee was closed at the time we were in the hotel. Breakfast, The hotel was in a beautiful wooden room decorated in English style college, it was comprehensive and well as soft and salad, and it was all very good.
