A beautiful facility that we enjoyed visiting. Very clean and well kept. There was a definite focus on the guests that were staying at the "Club Level". Club level guests were able to make reservations for meals other guests were quoted wait times of 20 to 45 minutes working around the reservations. There were some activites for the guest but the times and places of these events were not communicated very well. You were left to figure it out on your own. seating around the pool was at a premium. If you didn't have a towel on a seat before 9AM hey were all taken. Again, this is a beautiful facility but the level of communication by the management staff and the services could have been better for the money.

The resort is actually really great… but the dining situation on Friday and Saturdays is a nigh**are. We were 6 people and they’d tell us an hour and we’d come back in 45 and they’d tell us they gave away the table and to come back in an hour, over and over and over. We didn’t get to eat until almost 10pm both nights and that was after throwing a fit from waiting for 3 hours.
There’s butler service and if you don’t have a butler you are second class citizen and can’t get a pool spot or into the restaurants (not even the buffet). We won’t be returning because if the way we were treated after spending so much money.
I will add that Tues-Thursday we had no problems.

It was our 6th visit to this property. We love the resort and the staff is great. We’ve been to many other resorts in Hotel Zone but we keep coming back to Live Aqua. The concierge/butler service from Stephany and Alan was the best. They were more than happy to help with any requests and let us enjoy the vacation. Also, poolside, Usel was the greatest server. He kept us very happy! Highly recommend this resort. Habanero soup in MB is an absolute must try!!!

Beautiful, clean, well maintained property. Best food and drinks I have ever had in Cancun. Staff were extremely friendly and polite, and always went above and beyond. Will definitely be back!

Butler service needs improvement. No detail on how to operate the electronics in the suite, no tour or map of the facility. No explanation of offered activities. Hotel is nice enough, but at this price point there are better options in Cancun/Playa del Carmen.

Clean. Can’t fault the cleanliness but it’s a three star masquerading as a five star. You will need to get up at 0600 to ensure you have a seat at the pool otherwise you will be price gouged $75 for a cabana. Want to visit a restaurant? You will wait 2 hours minimum unless you hired a butler. With the exception of the steakhouse which was an additional $500, the food is bang average.Those people who are drunk in the hot tub whilst you wait for a table… They will get a table before you because they have a butler. We went to the Mexican night and were told we couldn’t sit at the table with our buffet food as it was reserved. We spent 5k and frankly the trea**ent was shabby. It’s a price gouge from beginning to end.
