"The room facilities are very complete and very convenient. The location of the hotel is clean and there are many restaurants nearby. There are various choices. If you want to cook yourself, you can also shop nearby. The service staff is kind and courteous."
"The room is large, the bed is not small, no problem for two adults and one child. The hotel is a bit away from the city center, but for those of us who like to measure the city with footsteps, we not only walked to Chinatown, but also to the Wei Ma market (a taxi cost about 10 Australian dollars, called Didi 8 Australian dollars). The reason for the flight to the hotel is very early, and it is not possible to check in early. This is not as flexible as domestic hotels, which is very common in Australia."

"The room is clean and tidy. I especially like the tree outside the window, the breeze, the sunshine, and the mottled light and shadow.
It is very close to the city center and Chinatown, about 8 minutes walk away. The hotel staff is warm and polite.
I was a little reluctant to check out - a little bit of You can check out anytime, but your heart can never leave. I am not too interested in taking pictures, so I don’t have any pictures. The scene is only in my heart and in my mind.
If you don’t like barefoot, remember to bring a pair of slippers, because there are no slippers in the room."
"I had a reasonable stay at Carlton Lygon Lodge. The biggest positive is the location, which is very hard to beat. Right on Lygon Street (but at the, somewhat, quieter end) and just a 10-min walk to Brunswick/Fitzroy. The accommodation itself is okay, but could definitely be better. The room smelt quite a lot, for one. The decor is also pretty dated. And it was noisy late into weekend nights due to passing traffic (so I needed to wear my noise-cancelling headphones to get to sleep). The price is quite reasonable though and the staff are friendly and helpful, so this place could be a good option if you want a great location, plan to be out most of the time, and want to save on costs."
"When we arrived to check in, we couldn't get into our allocated room because the key card wasn't working and so we were upgraded to a bigger room which was good. When we arrived inside, the rooms were clean and all made up well. So that was good. My criticisms are that they were very stingy with the toiletries, shower wash, shampoo etc and also damage that was visible in the apartment had been patched up with duc tape, for eg the edge of a kitchen bench or just left, like swollen timber trim in the bathroom or damage to walls , carpet etc. In all , it was quite cheap and well located near the CBD and we only stayed a night and so it served its purpose. However I feel if the damage was repaired properly, and there were proper toiletries, it would have been a much better experience ."
"Room was great for price, bathroom was huge plus good air con and comfy beds. No bin in our room though but that was the only downside to our stay. Garage parking was also really easy"
"The room is great, with complete facilities and relatively new equipment. There is a gas stove for self-catering. It is very clean. The surrounding environment is very good. It is very close to the tram station and only 2 stops to Melbourne Central Subway Station. There is an Asian supermarket not far downstairs. It is very quiet living on the 14th floor. The front desk clerk speaks Chinese, which makes check-in very convenient."
"Amazing central location, great room, polite staff, clean room and area , even tho there’s a sharing bathroom. Please guys, since is winter in Melbourne, add a heater inside the room, cause it was freezing. Having a fan that gives only fresh air, on winter season, doesn’t make any sense. Thank you ! Great experience! Not recommended if you have a car. I had to pay 15$ extra for the parking."
"The room is a suite, everything is available, very close to the museum, and there is a tram nearby."
