Loved our stay, below are a few things to improve upon:
1. Booked a King, hotel received reservation for a Queen.
2. No way to darken the room, light filtered in greatly from Plantation shutters and from the hallway light through the door.

Loved the charm of the Inn and the well appointed bedrooms and bathroom.
Enjoyed the dinning room at the top with river views.
The wine and food offerings in the afternoon was a pleasant surprise (or we did not read about it).
Staff was friendly and helpful with information about the neighborhood and dinning options

Great location. We walked everywhere and it all was close enough! Check in was easy and they texted me to check how everything was. Super convenient! Housekeeping was great when we needed new towels and stuff. Valet parking $28 per day but the car is right there and no charge for in and out (we didn’t move the car the whole time). Tons of restaurants close by. Charleston City Market one block away. Carriage rides one block away as well. So convenient. It’s a historic inn so the room was small and a double bed which was extra soft. Would have preferred a firmer mattress but slept great. So quiet !

Beautiful, historic hotel that’s been restored to its original state. All staff are personable and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Many tastefully touched such as a complimentary wine and cheese every day, coffee and tea in the lobby anytime of day and cookies upon arrival make this a must stay.

Suberb location on a corner next to horse drawn carriages, restaurants, the market and historic properties. Room costs are very competetive and the included breakfasts and afternoon wine and cheese are much appreciated. We’ve stayed here before and will stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean & was in a great location, the only downside was the morning male front desk person, who lacked a welcoming personality. The breakfast was delicious and the wine & cheese time was an added touch to our stay. We would gladly stay here again

Very nice breakfast buffet, convenient to Charleston shopping, went alone and felt safe. Valet parking was worth it.
