The hotel is in good location, clean, people are friendly as are other people in Chengdu. We have good experience with Grace Guo in Cafe K, very helpful and friendly, a very good person and SL employee, thank you Grance!!! So we indeed have few meals in Cafe K. However, the experience in Chinese restaurant 香宫 is awful, food is not good and the tea is so expensive, they charged us RMB250 for a pot of Chinese tea, the red wine is RMB240, omg, very bad. We would not go there again, I mean 香宫.

The room is big and the location is excellent. It's very close to Taikoo Li. The subway station is only 400 meters away. I highly recommend it. Thanks to the housekeeper Cong Cong. The Sichuan food was too spicy for the children and they didn't eat much. It was very comfortable to have a bowl of porridge at night. The breakfast is also very good. The location is superb, 5 min to metro stations, near to convenient stores and restaurants. The staffs are all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is nice and they even provide free afternoon tea and soup for supper. The hotel is very clean and as it was low season, they even upgraded our rooms. The only disappointment is the ventilation - even though i have booked a non-smoking family suites, we can still smell the cigarettes smoke in our room.

First, let me list the good points :- near metro, shops/minimart around the corner, clean, good view of DongMen bridge from window. Cons:- DON’T choose this hotel if you need ＞10mins to bath in winter or ＞20mins in summer. Water will only reheat after 30mins interval. This is what the red sign is trying to say but it is in Chinese which some can’t read. Bed is hard n singing from nearby pubs can be heard when windows are open ajar. For a new building, it is not well-maintained but good enough for a temp stay. I stayed for 2 nights
