Most of the hardware facilities are good, but the trash cans in the room and toilet are too small. The overall atmosphere is great, clean and comfortable. Breakfast tastes good too. The pool is also great. The free bicycle rental service is also very good, but it is recommended to pay more attention to the brake problem. The brakes of some bicycles feel a bit loose. The location is very good, quiet and quiet. The only thing that made us uncomfortable was the attitude of the staff. I had paid all the housing payments online in advance, but I was asked to pay an additional deposit of 2,000 baht on site, which shocked us. I have stayed in so many hotels and I have never been asked to pay a deposit. Although the staff was still very polite, what we felt was insincerity and even a bit contemptuous. The staff said they were afraid that we would damage the facilities in the room, so they needed to pay a security deposit, which would be returned to us after we checked out. We still gave us 2,000 yuan, but it caused us inconvenience because we had to go directly to the airport to leave Thailand after checking out, so returning us 2,000 yuan in cash after checking out was very troublesome for us and took up time on our trip. in budget. So the next day we told the staff that please return the cash to us. We can temporarily swipe the card instead. However, when we checked out on the last day, they said that we could not swipe the money back. We need to withhold the two thousand yuan and wait for 14 days. If there is no problem It will be brushed back. We don’t understand again here. If cash can be refunded immediately, why do you have to wait 14 days to swipe a card? We understand that tourists from a certain country may have caused losses to the hotel, which led to your reaction, but it is really uncomfortable for us to face the guests with a suspicious or even contemptuous attitude. Although the staff was very polite and tried their best when explaining Keep smiling, but we can feel the insincerity and discrimination underneath the smile.

Room is very clean. And the extra bed for child is also suitable. Room is faced to the swimming pool and the view is good. The hotel is near the old town. So it's very convenient for us to book many activities here. The hotel clerks are very kind. This makes us feel like at home.

Nice hotel, great room fine beds. We had 3 rooms 3 nights for €250. We were positively surprised. ' s Morning a delicious and royal breakfast for 100 baths. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We wanted to use the wb travels, but we were short and we were noticed until the last day. Pride elephant trip made see review and sticky waterfalls. We will certainly come back to Chiang Mai and also to this hotel.
M5 Hotel

Old City
The initial impression of the hotel appears promising, but upon closer inspection, it falls short. Our room was in poor condition, lacking serious cleanliness. The toilet seat was on the verge of detachment, the wall paint was peeling, the floor seemed unclean, there were dirty spots on the bedsheets and coffee cup, and the handle on the window fell off while attempting to close it. Overall, it was in poor condition. The room's open layout compromises privacy in the bathroom and safety box required contact with staff for a key despite having a numeric code. Additionally, the mirror is positioned for those under 160 cm, and the coffee contains milk, posing challenges for those with dietary restrictions or allergies. The room lacks soundproofing, making it difficult to sleep with ongoing street parties throughout the night, and we were there on weekdays. The check-in process and staff were pleasant. Yet, when we requested assistance in securing a taxi to the airport, they opted for GRAB, which is more expensive than a regular taxi. The pricing was not communicated beforehand, and resulted in overpricing. It would be beneficial if they informed guests of the price in advance or arranged a regular taxi (as requested!) with a meter to avoid unexpected expenses. Despite claiming environmental concern and towel change only when left on the floor, our towels were replaced daily, even when not on the floor. This contradicts their stated policy. If you appreciate the rough look and a cool fake photo for your Instagram photos, this might be suitable. However, if you prefer a well-functioning room with attention to detail, such as removing cobwebs from corners and addressing cleanliness concerns, it's advisable to steer clear. An overall bad experience. Would not stay here again.

In the middle of the Old Town, this is a great hotel. Staff could not do enough for us. Our room was not massive but more than adequate; furnishings quite traditional and heavy, dark wood but the fridge and complimentary water was very welcome. Toiletries were provided and the walk in shower, whilst not the most powerful, was good. As a small criticism, I’d say the bathrooms could be up dated but it’s fine, and functional. Breakfast buffet was superb: Thai food, Scrambled or fried eggs, toasters and the most amazing fresh fruit. Easy to walk anywhere with temples, restaurants and bars all close by. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The AT Chiang Mai.
The Eight Ratvithi House

We were two couples who stayed at The Eight Ratvithi House, which is a small hotel in a great central location on a side street in Chiang Mai. The hostess could not have been friendlier or more helpful in answering our questions and in providing suggestions that helped us enjoy our stay. It has a small, pretty courtyard in front and there is an adequate breakfast inside each morning, and prepared food and drinks are available other times in the courtyard at very reasonable prices. I must say that the bed was the most comfortable we had in our 3+ weeks in SE Asia, the blinds shut out morning light and there was no shortage of hot water in the shower for two showers. The building was a rebuild of a house originally built in the 1960’s and by the photos was totally rebuilt. They did a nice job of creating a practical and inviting hotel. There is a night market in the small road in front one night a week that is pleasant. The rooms we stayed in were quiet and noise was never a disturbance. The AC was great as well. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Had a really great stay at Arun Rawee. Location was really close to the gate and everywhere took around 20 minutes to walk to so great for exploring the old town. The pool was lovely and stayed open until til 10pm so was great for a pre bed swim. Room was spacious and clean, staff were super friendly and always willing to help. Reception offer free drinks for all those staying; tea, coffee etc.. Overall 10/10 would recommend!
