"The beds were ultra comfortable and I had the best night of sleep I’ve had in weeks. Room was small but unless you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the room, it was perfect. Bathroom was great, very clean and had a rain shower head which I loved. They didn’t really provide any toiletries other than hand wash and body wash, I had to buy my own shampoo and conditioner. There’s also no fridge/microwave, but there was tea and coffee with a kettle provided. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again."
"The hotel is very handy for gigs at the O2 Academy, as it is a short walk from there. Rooms are quite basic, though adequate for a one night stay. The washbasin in our room did not drain very well, but we managed. Also there is no wardrobe or even a rail to hang up clothes. There were two clothes/coat hooks near the door, but nothing else. We managed with hanging clothes on the back of a chair. However, these are minor issues and I would stay again."
"Good location only a 15 minute walk from BNS station. Single room was perfect for a solo traveller had everything you’d need, en-suite bathroom, toiletries & beverage tray. Good food served downstairs in the pub. "

"Apart from being expensive, there are no other problems. Breakfast is not included for 1,300 per night, and it is impossible to judge how rich the breakfast is. There is a gym available, which is more friendly."
"One person has a big bed, which is very comfortable, and the hotel's service attitude is also very good. Playing cards and drinking with friends at the hotel was a good experience. The hotel provides disposable slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste."
"Perfect location for a weekend in Birmingham. Really enjoyed the pool and sauna which were clean and well-maintained. Will definitely stay here again."
"The hotel was extremely clean. The staff were so friendly and always on hand to help with any questions. The room was extremely comfortable and lovely and warm."
"Spacious hostel. Nice thick blanket and bed(: friendly receptionist make you feel welcome to hostel. It will be better if there is plugs in toilet. A walk to city then to canal walk, walk back to hostel not far."
"The lOCATION was very convenient; as their was easy access to Birmingham Wharfside and Mailbox, leaving me with many restaurant options. For those that love to travel into the city to shop this is the perfect location due the Bullring was around a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
Upon arrival there was know one at reception to check us in; we waited approximately 5 minutes before a staff member arrived. However the staff member that attended to us we very polite at and helpful. Good SERVICE
The hotel rooms itself had an innovative modern style.
The bed was very comfortable and linen was beautifully textured, they were also very considerate with towel as they insured that spare towels where provided. I must say the the the rooms were very CLEAN I was also very pleased with the robes that were provided. Contrary to all theses great factors the corridors within the complex are in some much need of a refurb.
Apart from the hotel rooms there was no other AMENITIES because unfortunately the guest !NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO THE SPA! due to its closure earlier this year. This was very misleading due to the fact that the hotels unique selling point and main advertisement focus was the spa."

Great
BBumblebee06I stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is in a perfect location—central, convenient, and great for exploring the city. It has a luxurious feel throughout, with modern decor and a very clean environment.
The staff were lovely—always polite, helpful, and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was well-equipped with great amenities including coffee pods, tea, and coffee, as well as both still and sparkling water provided daily (a bottle of each).
A big plus was the in-room entertainment setup—you can easily connect your phone to the TV via the hotel Wi-Fi to stream your favourite shows on apps like Netflix and Prime Video.
Overall, I was really impressed with the comfort, service, and attention to detail. I’d definitely recommend Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham for a stylish and relaxing city break.
GGuest UserDoes exactly what you need for a one or two night stay. A bit cramped to stay any longer but perfect for an affordable over night when seeing a show or event

LLing TszThe aircon system was totally sucks, it happened to numbers of rooms, even we changed the room it wasn’t help. The staff told me that the maintenance can only be conducted on weekdays (our stays in during weekends) !!!! We can’t breath while we were sleeping, no choice but to open the windows. Our room is facing to the Main Street with heavy traffic even siren sounds from police car. Luckily we just stay for 1 night. Once is enough !

JJeff & LynLovely overnight stay.
Hotel was really busy with a large party but the staff looked after us really well.
Not a reflection on the hotel but they booked a taxi to pick us up and the taxi firm were totally useless. Having waited twenty minutes past the scheduled time, we called an Uber which was there in five minutes.
Overall, this is a great hotel which we have stayed at previously and will do so again.
LLEEClean , staffs are nice , good service. Location is not close to city center Main Street. Take 15-20 mins to the main shopping mall. Apart that , everything is good

GGuest Userthe room is good enough for 3 persons, though the sofa beds are actually smaller than the photos. well equipped with 2 head cooking hobs, small fridge, dish washer, microwave with grill function and sufficient utensils, and also instant coffee were provided.
the water pressure of the shower is super good and water is hot enough but the toilet is a bit small, you have to hide just next to the toilet bowl then you have enough space to open the door.
The down side is the service of the reception & housekeeping team. After we got the room cards, we couldn't access to the room and needed to go down to ask the receptionist to fix the cards and come back to open the room. After entered the room, we found that the water in toilet sink didn't go, we asked the housekeeping staff who was just working at the next room to have a look at it but who said we needed to go to the receptionist (as there's no inter-room telephone, we have to go down again). Then the receptionist arranged another room which was downstairs for us.
We booked for 2 nights, when we came back to the hotel the next evening, the room cards didn't work, again. The receptionist claimed that it might be due to the cards being put together with the mobile phone that might damage the cards. However, we were sure the cards weren't put together with the phones!
It would be perfect if a small box of tissue could be provided.

GGuest User5th floor but no great view as it's so built up that side of hotel. Air conditioning loud and squeaky. However, room large for a twin, bathroom good size, great shower, clean linen and room, comfortable beds, good lighting and good breakfast options. Bargain!
JJSTWComfort Inn Location is great, just next to Birmingham New Street train station and within 3 mins walking distance to Birmingham China town, so plenty of restaurants and cafe surround this hotel.
The only downside is the shower area, the curtain was short and water spilling everywhere when take shower.
Overall I would rate 4.0 for Comfort Inn due to excellent location and reasonable price

SSmile HussainEnjoyed my stay, the complimentary tea was nice but basic. Coffee was okay. View was nice. Bathroom was clean. It had a iron in the room that was nice as most don't. T. V had Netflix and prime also YouTube. Out of all the hotels I have stayed I would rate it 6/10 because it's convenient and when you leave your 2 minutes away from thr train station. Wasn't pleased as it wasn't serving breakfast as renovating the restaurant.
