Top class. Food superb. Service fantastic. Lovely location away from any busy streets. Very quiet. Very nice rooms. Owner Ruth was very helpful and friendly. One word of caution: we ordered the hot tub but were not advised of its cost ($145 USD). Yikes. It needed to be heated up to use for 4 hours prior to use. It was very nice, however, and Sergio brought us a Pisco Sour each. I would have ordered two had I known the cost! But the view from the tub was superb. A great place which we would not hesitate to go back to.

I stayed here with friends, and we instantly felt at home. The highlights for me were the delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, blackout curtains for catching up on sleep, and the hot tub, which cost extra. The staff accommodated requests and helped us coordinate the airport shuttle. I also enjoyed their gift shop, which had well-curated sweaters, keychains, gin, etc.

Beautiful hotel with big great rooms in a quiet garden! A good breakfast buffet. The only downside is that no hotel employee is wearing a protective mask, or any other kind of protection, during the Covid-19 pandemic. When confronted, the answer is that they are being tested and therefore do not need a protection (not even in the kitchen/buffet). The signs clearly state that the guests need to wear masks (as the whole country does), but not the employee. A little lack of respect towards the guest in our opinion.

After staying in some of the most beautiful resorts and cabanas in Chile over the past three weeks we arrived at Patagonia house one hour ago It is the worst. No views, rat traps around the cabana, a 3 night cabana 20 feet from the workers dormitory, $720.of US dollars . Hot, dusty, dirty , We are going to forfeit the next two days , loose the money and rent a house in the country for 1/3 of the cost. They shouldn’t be able to get away with this.

We had a wonderful stay at the Patagonia House. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the grounds were very peaceful and relaxing. A comfortable bed with super nice linens was a plus at the end of our trip. Dinner at the on-site restaurant Börek was another highlight. We had a ceviche, a salmon, and a mushroom risotto (all tasty) with an excellent wine recommendation from the staff. The breakfast was also great (including freshly grilled steak). After dinner we had a soak in one of the hot tubs overlooking the valley at sunset. You have to book ahead and pay extra but it was worthwhile. Would stay again if in Coyhaique!

Rooms are detached but are neat, tidy, warm and comfortable. The staff were great. The stand out for this hotel is the restaurant (Bortek) which is fantastic for both breakfast and dinner. It’s ironic that we moved here unplanned (we refused to stay in the accommodation our agent booked for in Cerro Castillo) yet it was the most comfortable and with easily the best food we experienced in the two weeks we spent in or there Patagonia.

Patagonia House has to be one of the best hotel experiences ever. Low key luxury hotel in a beautiful setting where Ruth, the proprietor, takes a personal interest in each and every guest and in each and every staff member. Prices are fair to begin, and when you leave, you’ll feel like you got an unbelievable bargain. The quality of service is as good as it gets. Food is outstanding and rooms are beautiful.

The location is a couple of miles out of town, close to local hiking trails with views and well-cared for property. Ruth, the proprietor, is excellent; she is fluent in English, always available and can arrange everything to make your trip enjoyable (taxis, guides, fly fishing guides, etc.). Staff is helpful and friendly and the rooms all have great views and are large and comfortable. Food is farm-to-table fresh local ingredients (including an on premises greenhouse). Well prepared and rivals SF Bay Area and LA restaurant quality and presentation. Cocktail and wine lists are fairly priced and extensive. We stayed at the beginning and end of a backpacking trip in Patagonia park and found it the perfect refuge/refresh point around that trip. Luxury at a mid-range price.

Experience at the Patagonia House was superb. Rooms were very spacious, clean, and bed was very comfortable. Food was a mix of Chilean/American which was a nice balance of our home country and adventure into Chilean cuisine and culture. Best part of the stay was Ernesto and Raphael. Super gracious and accommodating hosts. They helped us along our journey and went way beyond expectations. They also have a lot of contacts that they are able and willing to help when we needed them and do what we were looking to do (personal fishing guide).
