Hotel Bella Grande

Copenhagen Center Copenhagen|0.4km from Samadhi Spa
I booked the hotel through another app and I had a 10% off for the stay. It was described as central location and that’s all we needed it. The day before leaving I read the reviews here on tripadvisor and I was shocked. Most of them are bad. Needless to say, I thought “we will only need a bed, a shower and we will be out and about all day”. So here’s my honest review. The hotel is in central location, you get the train from the airport to København H (13min), cross the road and walk down for 8-10mins and you’re there. The hotel itself is in a nice building, opposite there’s a bar/ club (Friday night it was maaaad). Reception staff was smiling, friendly and they literally helped us going / finding places to visit. Check in was at 3pm and we arrived at…9.10am. So we dropped the bags and went out. We came back just before 3pm, a bit exhausted because we walked everywhere and, even if our allocated room was not ready, they gave us another one on the 2nd floor. Room 220. There’s a lift - it’s quite old so we only took it once (I’m terrified of lifts) and walked into the corridor where our room was. There was a slightly smell of old carpet, but it was only in the corridor. The room was quite spacious, the bed was very comfortable and there was a bath tub. Everything was clean, we had loads of towels. Our room faced the street and as you can imagine, you can hear cars, people partying (if you’re there on weekend), police cars etc but we are used to as we live in London. There was an option of having breakfast at the hotel for 160K … many people said that it’s cheaper than anywhere else, I beg to differ. Breakfast consisted on coffee, fruits etc very continental breakfast which is fine if you want to have loads of choice and want to eat more there so you won’t spend any money until lunch. I’m vegan so I had 2 cups of coffee and some grapes 😒. The room had a tv but we didn’t use it (also, there wasn’t a remote 😂) . I read there was a restaurant but it was closed but I’ve seen guests enjoying drinks in the “garden”, inside lobby area, which is quite pretty. Check in could have been more “relaxed” as we had to leave by 11.30am and our flight was at 10.40pm but they kept our luggage so we had another day out. I recommend this hotel : 1. The location is perfect 2. Yes, it is dated but you’re visiting another city, how long do you spend in your room? We literally were there to sleep, shower and go. 3. Staff was super helpful 4. It was the cheapest option and it is worth it

We stayed at this hotel for two nights prior to a cruise. Rooms were very clean, staff friendly and helpful, location excellent, breakfast tasty and fresh. Would recommend to anyone looking for a medium-priced hotel in the center of Copenhagen.

This hotel has a great location, not far from the train station and close to Tivoli. It made for a good place to explore the city from. We paid for a larger room, which I think you needed. It was a sunny weekend and the room got hot. I wouldn’t want to be here without air con any hotter. The room was very clean and toiletries in the room were good. Whilst well styled it is basic, no fridge in the room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They stored our cases on arrival and departure days. Had drinks in the bar which was very pleasant. Didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. Found the bells quite irritating at first as we had the window open but was used to them after a day. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location ( 1 km from the railway station ) and walking distance to many touristic areas around the centre. Amazing breakfast ( the bread was amazing and the lemonade was so tasty....perfect way to kickstart your morning), clean & well-maintainedd rooms, common areas, linens. Nice bar. Fun events on certain days. Discounts on drinks. Friendly and helpful staff. Tips : 1) Don't forget to take a padlock with you, so that you can use it to keep your belongings under the bed and keep them safe locked. There are lockers available in the hostel. But you have to pay for it separately. So better to take a lock with you or you can buy one, which is available at their reception. 2) They accept cash, visa / mastercard. They don't accept Maestro.

The hotel is in the city centre, right next to the National Museum. Copenhagen Airport is very close to the city, and it takes about 20 minutes by train to the Central Station. Walk from Central Station to the hotel for about 10 minutes. The service of the hotel was also very good. It was raining, the hotel umbrella was borrowed, and the waiter tried to find a way for me.
