Hotel Daisen Shirogane

Daisen
I had the impression that it was a hotel for climbers, so I didn't have high expectations, but I was disappointed in a good way! The inside of the hotel has been renovated and was very clean and comfortable, including the common areas and each room. Of course, every corner is thoroughly cleaned. The bath and toilet are separate, and both have been beautifully renovated and polished to a shine. They were also great with children. All the staff were kind to the children. What impressed me was the dinner. I didn't have high expectations based on the photo on the top page of TripAdvisor, but it turned out to be a kaiseki meal that even came with a certificate. Each item was made with great care and all were delicious. The children's dishes were also carefully prepared and delicious, and the children enjoyed eating them. There was also a cute decoration made of orange. Breakfast was average, with a lot of ready-made items. Still, it's more than enough considering the price. This time, I applied for the 10 special benefits plan, and the service was so perfect that I couldn't help but feel sorry for the price: it came with a cup of ramen, a boxed lunch and water for the next day, and a coupon that could be used inside the hotel. Although the bath is not a hot spring, the natural water filtered by Mt. Daisen made my skin feel softer. The next day, I asked for a late checkout so I could wait for my family to go climbing Mt. Daisen, and they told me that they had a room where I could leave my luggage, so I could use that. The room was spacious and clean, and I was able to wait very comfortably. There are many beautiful shops and accommodations along the approach to Daisenji Temple, and it was a very enjoyable place, so I would definitely like to come back to Daisen again. This is a hotel with the highest level of cost performance and satisfaction. I would like to use this hotel when I come to Oyama. Thank you for the fun memories.

Mercure Tottori Daisen Resort & Spa

Hoki|7.84km from Gyokurensan Kiyomi Temple
Use national travel support. Buffet type for both dinner and breakfast. I intended to book non-smoking, but it was a smoking room. Instead? It was upgraded to a suite room. Stay as it is, although I am not convinced. The room is on the top floor as a guest room, and the Japanese-Western style room has a sofa, and Oyama spreads out in front of you. The chair installed in the lobby on the other side of the same floor overlooks the Sea of Japan. The size and view are perfect, but the deterioration of the facility is left unattended, the sofas and massage chairs are rubbed out, the fittings are partially peeled off, and the smell of cigarettes is faint, so it is offered at a very regular price. Products that can't be used. For dinner, there are several tables in the large banquet hall, and some of them are served with food, which is like a school trip dinner. Customers can make a reservation every hour and a half and enter the room, but there is no seat replacement. It's simply to prevent the concentration of customers. When the customer finishes eating, he puts his own empty tableware and the next customer sits there. No employees wipe or set the table at all. The contents of the food are poor and there is no fun at all. Even at the same buffet, the Suginoi Hotel in Beppu has a variety of contents and methods of offering, and on the contrary, it is fun to choose which buffet is available. I am disgusted by the convenience of the hotel side, which tries to reduce labor costs and treat a large number of guests temporarily by travel support. The same is true for breakfast. It's been a while since I've had such an unpleasant meal. By the way, all-you-can-drink beer is 2,700 yen. Local craft beer on the menu is an extra charge. For the number of customers, there is only one beer server and one person in charge, which will be crowded depending on the time of year. Everything is low level service. This hotel was developed and built with a nearby villa during the bubble period. The dishes were not only hotel restaurants but also specialty stores in Japanese and Western countries were used for customers' preferences, and they were set up as a luxury resort hotel, such as preparing a special drying room for ski guests. When I used it for skiing last time (more than 20 years ago), some cooking specialty stores were already closed due to the collapse of the bubble (this time annihilated). The management is more difficult It seems that I did. Some rooms have been completely renewed (those are like an extra charge), but it is hard to say that the overall deterioration is undesirable. What will happen in the future? Will you only provide accommodation at a low price or maintain the function as a luxury resort hotel? I'm worried about other people. Well, this time travel support I am satisfied because I was able to stay cheaply using (discount for accommodation costs, coupon coupons, local tourist facilities discount coupons), but I think I will never use it at a fixed price.

The breakfast was very good, and the dinner was even better 👍There are local characteristics of Dashan Bao Niu Beef (´-ω-`) It is delicious, and order a glass of plum wine. At such a family-run homestay, it feels great. The room is clean and suitable for bringing children. Anyway, I will go next time. By the way, call ahead and you can order very fresh crabs

Diagonally across from the Baishan Grand Palace Hotel, a very cozy hotel, all Japanese, a little bit away from Dashan Temple, we drove there in 5 minutes. Many elderly people come here to climb mountains. There are no convenience stores or shops nearby, so it is best to bring some by yourself. Breakfast and dinner are included. You can choose Japanese or Western style, which is very good. The bathroom is open after 4pm to 10pm, which is not suitable for people who have to take two baths a day. Check-in must be after 3pm.
