My first room smelled like cigarette smoke and had a pile of ashes under the wall-mounted nightstand, but I was given a new room without any issues. I had prepaid for breakfast but had issues with getting breakfast passes from the desk clerk. He finally gave me the passes, but it seems like there should be some way for them to see that breakfast has been paid for with booking. The breakfast was mediocre — the norma buffet offering you get at these kinds of hotels — but usually that’s included in the room cost. Definitely not worth the $9/person it cost here. Overall, I wasn’t impressed, but the evening desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

No soap in the soap dispenser in the shower. Banging outside of room in wall- I was at the end of the hall- all night frequent clanging and banging. Overall just okay.

This may seem minor, but the TV in my room was not working! I had an extremely long and horrible day of travel. My flight was cancelled late so I had to get a hotel last minute. I simply wanted to shower and unwind/de-stress with having the TV on and could not watch it. I called the front desk and he said he thinks the TV's were being re-set. When I asked what this meant, he just kept repeating himself. My co-worker said her TV was working fine so it was not a wide-spread issue.

I was told not to leave belongings in my vehicle so I put them in the room safe. My spare key, prescription and purse. When I left I got 6 hours away and realized I left it all in the room safe. Called and no one had rented the room yet but my items are all missing. I gave them 2 days and still nothing. I’m not getting it back. Everyone was super friendly and the inside of the hotel is nice. There were sketchy ppl in the parking lot and security ran them off. Security was nice. Breakfast was good but not free. My only complaint is the cleaning person stole my purse, pills and extra key. Mainly mad about my spare key, she can’t use it.

Great stay for a great price. Its the first hotel in Dallas I’ve stayed in that was really clean and economical. I’ve paid more and paid less but really enjoyed my stay here and it was close to where I work. The drapes on the window didn’t close completely and I work nights while in Dallas which could have made sleeping hard, but I had a sleeping mask so it was okay. Will definitely ask for a room without that issue next time.

The hotel is updated and clean.
But it was noisy, especially because of the many road near it. There is nothing the staff could do about the noise.

Brand new remodel that’s true, but there was no hot water in my room which of course I only discovered in the morning when I was late for my airplane. Additionally, the bathroom sink did not drain at all which in and of itself is disgusting, and it almost overflowed. There was also only one towel and no sugar or cream for the in room coffee maker. Also, there was no breakfast as promised at 6 AM And by 645 breakfast had still not even begun to be prepared. The front desk told me that “ she would be in sometime around seven because they’re not many people in the hotel“.
Overall a tremendous disappointment.
