Arrived at the hotel and staff looked miserable and were very blunt. We were told that there would be fire alarm testing only when we arrived there, at 8am in the morning. This went on all day!! There was only 1 towel in the whole room. No hand towels or even a bath mat for getting out. We requested towels at roughly 12pm and had to ask again at 6pm as they still didn’t arrive. After requesting the second time it still took them another 2 hours to bring the towels up. The staff were really rude to my partner, not listening to his requests or questions and dismissing him. I had to leave earlier to catch a flight at 12am that night and my partner was staying on in the hotel. There was no need to check out. As we were leaving they chased us out the door asking us to check out and we had to explain to them that we aren’t checking out a day early I’m just leaving. After my partner dropped me at the airport and went back to the hotel they were questioning him about why he was staying and were overall very unprofessional. They made him feel uncomfortable and angry with the way they treated him. Honestly the most rude hotel staff I have ever had to deal with. I have stayed in 2 star hotels better than this so called 5 star one. If you want to be treated like a guest and a human, avoid this hotel at all costs. In addition, the room was dirty, walls had holes in it and bathroom door has make up all over it. The only positive was the bed was comfortable. I will never make the same mistake twice by staying here.

We had an amazing time here, it was 5 stars! It was immaculately clean and designed. I was at peace because there was a Quran and prayer mat in our room, there's a Qatari vibe to the hotel; architecture, smell (smells gorgeous), staff. The staff are very attentive and theres a quick service. Breakfast was perfect, we had dinner and in room dining service which was perfect and special. We used the gym ( excellent exercise machines) , rooftop pool was perfect with private shower rooms. The spa was amazing, we had a couples hammam. The only thing I'm not sure about is, wether guests can use the sauna and steam rooms as they are in the spa, we got to use it because we were clients there. We also loved the segregation in the spa. It was perfect, we wish we stayed longer, it felt like home, we will visit again in sha Allah. We booked 2 hotels; after we moved to St Regis and missed Steinberger so much, out of both hotels we loved Steinberger and wanted to return. Steinberger scored way better than a well-known hotel resort. Thankyou for taking care of us.

The hotel is very new. The waiters are very warm and friendly. However, the customer flow is too small, so the food variety is not rich enough, only Western food and Middle Eastern food. No East Asian food. The Arabic flatbread is very delicate, and it feels good when you eat it for the first time, but after eating it for 4 consecutive days... Haha. There is no buffet, which is strange, even breakfast is a la carte. The swimming pool on the rooftop is very beautiful. The surrounding is very desolate and needs to be developed. Not far from the airport, convenient for catching a flight, can be used as a transit hotel.

Just a short ride from Hamad International Airport ($5 Uber) and another short ride to the Al Corniche Street area to see many sites ($3 Uber) is this incredible Holiday Inn, I have never experienced a Holiday Inn like this before. Very reasonably priced that includes breakfast , a breakfast that you would see in high end restaurants, the staff is spot on and easy to communicate with, taking the time to talk and explain in detail your every concerns. The conversation always ends in a “ no problem sir” for example: I have a late flight leaving Doha today, asked for a late check out “no problem sir” asked at breakfast if I may return for breakfast after sitting for coffee “no problem sir” I was going to jot down names of the people who helped me….. everyone that I spoke with helped me! No need to look for any other hotels, this place is it. Many options for food and drinks on site, exercise facilities are immaculate, pool is inviting and the rooms are spacious.

When I first booked, I thought the price was wrong, very cheap and good quality. It should be a four-star bar. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are large and quiet. The buffet selection in the morning is quite a bit. The PLUTO restaurant on the first floor was so expensive. I ordered a snack, with a fried egg on top, two thin slices of beef in the middle, and a slice of toast below, which cost USD15. In addition, the wind and sand in Doha is very strong, and you can see that thick ash has accumulated on the window glass.

I enjoyed my recent 4 night stay in the Movenpick. Its really well located only a few minutes walk from the National Museum and the metroline. You can walk to Souq Waqif on about 15 minutes, the National Museum in about 5. The metro is excellent and both the Souq and Museum stations are easily walkable. The room was really spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the room had all mod cons - no complaints whatsoever. The pool area is small but very nice. It gets the sun all morning until about lunchtime when the shadow moves around. It has a nice steamroom and gym too. The breakfast is superb, if there is an option to include breakfast with your room it's well worth paying it - omlettes, cereals, fruits, breads, meats...I was so well fed I didn't need lunch! The bar is a bit smoky for my liking, and way too dark to sit and read. But it has lots of screens showing the sports so that's good. Going before 10 and drinks are 20% cheaper. But really, I just couldn't stick the smoke. Its illegal in my country to smoke in bars so I'd forgotten how utterly disgusting it is. But it's obviously legal here so the bar are likely doing nothing wrong. Luckily though this is my review, I think the smoke is horrible and ruins the bar for everyone else so there we go. The hotel staff were really helpful, especially the guys that run the health centre and the lovely folks in the restaurant at breakfast. Oh yes, if you walk out the front entrance and follow the walls around to your left you'll find an excellent 24 hour service station with all the snacks, toothpaste, over the counter meds etc you'll need. Great to grab a cold drink after a walk in the heat! I'd definitely stay here again though, no hesitation.

The pillows, mattress, comforter are the most marshmallowishy feel I had with Wonder Palace Hotel. Superb cleanliness of the room is truly remarkable and I was surprised by their delectable breakfast buffet spread. The front desk staff were absolutely amazing they were responsive of my needs and what was interesting during my stay was that they extended my check out time because the pool was not yet ready as it was under treatment and I would like to experience the summer swimming in their pool that time. Also, the dry and wet sauna were clean as well the gym. Towels provided were smelling fresh and clean. Thank you so much!

It was the most beautiful three weeks I spent as a new mother with a baby girl and with my mom it was her first visit to Qatar everything was more than i expected all the employees were helpful and cheerful especially the cleaning service the sisters sita and sital they were wonderful and worked with complete honesty. We had an 8 hour layover in Doha and decided to go to a hotel for a few hours between flights. We arrived in the middle of the night and unfortunately they didn't find our reservation. This took about 30 minutes to resolve, which shortened our already very short night. The staff were friendly and helpful and when we finally got our room it was very good. Basic, but nice. After a long flight, it felt luxurious to have a bath and stretch out in clean sheets. We used Uber both ways and it was convenient and inexpensive. I would choose this hotel again in Doha.

Everyone made me feel really at home in my 4 days there. Irfan and Muhaidi and the others at Front Desk listened carefully for my requests and tried to help wherever they could and provided information for me around town. Gamal introduced me to the room and also took the initiative to guide me around the neighbourhood the next day. Staff at the Lounge also made watching World Cup matches there comfortable and enjoyable, sometimes coming over to make small talk about the football and was able to attend to our every need. For location, the hotel is within 5min walk to a Metro station and amenities like restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies. Room was great, but found deposits unfortunately at the kettle spout. It is recommended to try the local restaurant opposite the hotel in the evening. Ha, the price is cheap and the taste is very authentic. The point is to squeeze with the locals to eat with your hands. It feels amazing. Haha... I came for a half-day tour of Doha. The whole journey was played with Uber, and the price is not expensive.
