"Exceptional Stay at Yosemite View Lodge – Great Location & Wonderful Staff
I stayed at Yosemite View Lodge from July 14–15, 2025, and I had an amazing experience that exceeded expectations in many ways.
1. Outstanding service from the staff
During my stay, I accidentally broke the glass plate inside the microwave. The staff showed genuine concern — not about the damage — but whether I’d still be able to use the microwave. When I asked about any damage fees, they kindly told me not to worry and explained that it was a common accident and there would be no charge. Their kindness and professionalism were truly appreciated.
2. Perfect location for Yosemite visitors
The lodge is located just minutes from the entrance to Yosemite National Park, which made our trip incredibly convenient. The view from behind the hotel, facing the creek and surrounded by nature, was absolutely stunning and peaceful.
3. Well-equipped and comfortable rooms
Our room came with excellent amenities, including a stove, microwave, and cooking utensils. This allowed us to cook our own meals and made the stay much more comfortable and convenient, especially for travelers who prefer self-catering.
4. Lively game room and social atmosphere
The hotel has a real game room — not just for display — with pool tables, ping pong, air hockey, and more. Many guests were playing, and it created a fun, social atmosphere. I even made a few new friends there, which was a lovely bonus!
5. Multiple pools and relaxing spa options
Yosemite View Lodge offers several pools — both indoor and outdoor — including a relaxing hot spa pool. After a long day of hiking, soaking in the hot tub was perfect. The only minor downside was that there were no shower rooms near the pool area, but this didn’t detract much from the overall experience.
In summary, this was a fantastic stay with warm hospitality, great facilities, and a location that can’t be beat. I would absolutely recommend Yosemite View Lodge to anyone visiting Yosemite!"
"Excellent location about a 20 mins drive from the entrance to Yosemite Valley. Definitely worth staying here rather than paying more than double in the park itself. We stayed in a king room which must have been remodelled recently as it was modern and clean except the hair we found on one of the pillows. The only negative about the room was the terrible WiFi connection, it would drop in and out constantly which was annoying.
We didn't go to the restaurant/coffee shop but the games room was great with free pool, table tennis, cornhole, and tons of board games. In addition, the gift shop was way cheaper than the ones in the park itself.
Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Yosemite!"
"Nice location wirtin the Yosemite national park.
3 rooms (1 dedicated one on the 2nd floor) with beds and 2 of them have dedicate bathrooms. 2 extra bathrooms are available for all guests.
1 living room, 1 huge kitchen with appliances and tablewares, 1 dining room, and one billiard room provided lots of space and fun for 3 of us."

"Everything is good, it is a bit expensive. I recommend everyone to live in the cedar lodge at the exit of Yosemite. The room is bigger and more comfortable. This is for people who like to live in the jungle to enjoy nature."
"A very good hotel, located right at the northwest entrance of Yosemite National Park, far surpassing the lodges inside the national park in every aspect. The suites are especially comfortable. The only downside is the lack of restaurants nearby. The lobby shop has a wide selection of goods, but it would be even better if the rooms had a microwave."
"An amazing place to stay near Yosemite national park. The airstreams are clean and well equipped (can cook, have good heating and WiFi on site). You can also barbecue on site, where they sell fire wood, ready to cook kits and drinks."
"The hotel is in a very good location, in Yosemite Valley Village, facing Yosemite Falls. The surrounding meadows, waterfalls, forests, and streams are all very beautiful. The rooms of this B&B are very scattered, and the facilities are relatively simple, similar to the taste of temporary housing. In addition, the hotel does not provide free breakfast. There are two independent restaurants in the hotel with average value for money. There is a microwave at the front desk for heating. But all the ice machines in the hotel are broken. In addition to providing rooms and parking, the hotel does not seem to have any other services."
