It's our favorite hotel to stay at when traveling to Portland. We love the across the board feel about everything this hotel has to offer. Thames St. gravel parking lot run by the city is a mere minute walk away. $10 a day for up to fifteen days. Just make sure the kiosk takes your card. I used my Visa CC and I didn't realize that the card was denied because it just went back to the main screen without saying denied. I got a parking ticket within the first hour. Went online to find out the card was denied, used a different card and it worked and went to a receipt screen this time. So, wait for the receipt screen people!

The room is sold as a harbor view but you have to look around the building to see the water it’s down the street a few blocks not what I would consider a harbor view

why do you charge for parking in garage when i told you that i was not using the garage. when i checked in and when i checked out. the person at the front desk was very rude. if i had not looked at the bill before i left i would be charged 240 for nothing. you need to fix this problem,so people are not overcharged

Hotel was very close to lots of eating g iptions and shopping. Our view was beautiful once we were moved on the second day to the right room. Our flight was delayed and even though we called our room was given away. Disappointing for our 20 year anniversary. We were moved the next day after complaining. View and location was excellent. Breakfast was good but didnt change day to day. Different options might be better for guests staying more than a day or two.

Good location & service. The facility was a bit worn but we were glad to have a studio suite with full kitchen for our 8-night stay. There’s a bit of misleading info on this facility’s site & signage around the building. They state they have a hot tub (even listed on their internal TV info) & daily happy hour with complimentary beverages & snacks. There is no hot tub (but an indoor pool) or happy hour. The cocktail lounge is open limited hours & serves no food. We had nightcaps at another Marriott hotel a block away.
Because the cruise ship dock is nearby, there’s lots of tour groups in & around the hotel. The staff do a great job serving lots of people with quick turnaround.

They had to move us to another hotel as the room we booked was no longer available for an undisclosed reason and didnt bother to notify us until we arrived. Definitely never using their hotel again, after such shoddy and disrespectful behavior.

The location was perfect to walk to Old Port and downtown Portland. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was excellent, well stocked and a great variety with very attentive staff. The hotel was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The suites are so roomy with a full kitchenette. We stayed 8 nights and fully enjoyed it. Definitely book this hotel again.
