Helvetia&Bristol Firenze – Starhotels Collezione

Florence Historic Center Florence|0.13km from Stella McCartney(Via dei Tosinghi)
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the train station. Because Florence SMN is in the old town, it is recommended to take a taxi if you push the box. Between 7 and 9 euros. Always check these hotel reviews, it is too long and too small. Patio room and more. I have to correct it here. First, the hotel belongs to the five-star hotel of LEADING Hotel. Second, the hotel house itself is a historic building. More than two hundred years of history. Third, the hotel was just renovated in 2019. At present, some rooms on Ctrip are not updated. Fourth, the hotel entrance is Lu, the door is Cartier, next to BV, Bulgari, GUCCI. Walk to Republic Square for two minutes. Go to the old bridge of Vignano for ten minutes. Great location. Fifth, the hotel service is really worthy of five stars. Always smile, funny, provide free drinks, the doorman will always take the baggage and send it directly to your room. And carefully introduce the surrounding environment and provide Chinese maps and introductions to Florence. Sixth, the decoration of the hotel is very tasteful. Of course, the paintings and statues seen in a building more than two hundred years old are antiques. And many hotels in Italy and even five-star hotels in Europe are small rooms in historic buildings. The current area in a Baroque building is really small. Eighth, the hotel is a back-shaped building, so the window in the middle room is called the “patio”. If you don’t like it, you should adjust it in advance. Ninth, the toiletries in the room are really luxurious. . And there are slippers and kettles that Chinese people like in the room. Tenth, the towels in the restrooms are all brand new cotton towels. I don't want the kind of towel that has been used for a long time. And the water pipe with a small detail hanging towel is a hot water pipe. It should be specially designed by the hotel. The hot water is very hot. If the clothes are hung on the top, it will be done the next day. The hotel has not made publicity. It will become the net red hotel in the future.

Hotel la Gemma

Florence Historic Center Florence|0.18km from Stella McCartney(Via dei Tosinghi)
When we arrived at Hotel La Gemma, it had been opened a grand total of 15 days. But no one could tell because Gianluca, the Hotel Manager, was in charge and everything was already in full swing and running smoothly. Gianluca himself showed us to our suite and made us feel welcomed. He was warm, engaging and very helpful throughout our 3-night stay. He even showed me how to make the stamps stick on my postcard by gently peeling off the back of them - they were adhesive like stickers. Before Gianluca came to the rescue, I was licking the back of the stamps like a fast-melting gelato but they still wouldn't stick. Gianluca also patiently walked me through the Tren Italia website to book our train tickets to Venice - all on my mobile phone. Eduardo at the Front Desk was earnest, lively and of great assistance. At breakfast, Luca the waiter was very good at explaining the extensive menu and choices available. He was solicitous and anticipated our needs. We missed him when he was not on duty. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the heart of Florence and a stone’s throw from the Post Office. It is a very short walk to Piazza Republica, Ponte Vecchio and the beautiful landscape of the River Arno. The rooms are very well-appointed; huge comfy beds with fluffy pillows, a wide array of fragrant toiletries and, thick body-encompassing towels. The impression is one of old-world sophistication and luxury. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Hotel La Gemma.

The location is really good. The building is not an old building, but it's relatively new, so it's okay. But... I was really disappointed with the service. First of all, there is no front desk here, and it is in another building far away, so you have to go to the Duomo side to check in. Even there, just one person like a dormitory.. There was an air conditioner problem in the late summer, but it was a problem to pass lightly because it was winter. ㅋ I thought there would be a cold wind from the heater.. When I told the staff, they just gave me a cotton quilt later? It was just covered, but it wasn't like moving the heater to a room that could be fixed or something like this, but it was really disappointing (why did you tell me how to use it in the first place if you would) The most problem is towel!! I've never had a towel problem during my trip to Europe, but I think this is the case here. I put a towel on the foot mat and put it on the foot mat. What is the service of hanging the towel on the floor again? And I didn't refill the towel to the person who stayed for 3 days, so on the second day, I wrote it in English and Italian Españor called new towel, so I refilled the small towel and the big towel was ㅋㅋㅋㅋ No. Which hotel is going to hang the towels on the floor? If only I had experienced one of these, I would have done it, but I felt really bad because I saved the towels, didn't use people, and received the service of an unmanned motel class. If you see this, please visit a better hotel.

B&B Soggiorno Battistero

I have seen there are no recent reviews so will update you on our visit. First off this is NOT a hotel and they do not have any services at all. They don't advertise that so it is what is says a B&B. Our room way extremely small even for europe rooms. The bathroon was the size of a telephone booth. The drain did not work at all and within 2 minutes the pan was filled and overflowing into the bathroom. You can not use the shower bascially. The air conditioning works but sounds like there are coins bashing around in it and can't really be used at all. No way to sleep in the room with that noise.. its not just a little noise it rattling really loudly. The person that run the place is only there from 2-6pm. He was very nice and helpful. If you need anything after that you are on your own. He said call him and he can come back. But hardly feels right calling a guy to run over to bring extra towels. While the location is excellent..... without a fan or air conditioning the outside noise it unbearable. Loud parties and people have fun below until at least 4:00am. I think I was dosing here and there as I heard about 30 people signing happy birthday at 3:30am. I know we had the smallest room but had I been there a second night I would have checked out a day early. This again is not a hotel I would say its a dorm room with a view.

The location is hard to find. There is no signboard. It is more like the nature of a family hotel. In the residential building, the sound insulation is also poor. The advantage is very close to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

Repubblica Firenze Luxury Apartments | Una Esperienze
4.4/510 Reviews
Florence Historic Center
Perfectly equipped apartment on the roof floor directly on Piazza Repubblica with roof terrace. Modern and stylish facilities, a glass shower separates bed and living area. Separate bathrooms are available, also a small kitchenette with refrigerator. The highlight is the small roof terrace with views of the Dom and Piazza Repubblica - you can also practically screw the visitors of the rooftop bar with a rough view (approximately 50m). The apartment we found clean, it is cleaned every 2 days. Supermarket, restaurants and all the attractions are nearby to take place. We would book it again at our next visit, since we have intensely used the possibility of the roof terrace for breakfast and evening drink. Breakfast is additionally bookable, but we have made it ourselves thanks to close supermarkets and available kitchen with toaster and coffee machine. On check-in you can check in at the reception at the ground floor of the office building, these call a staff member of the renter, after about 10 minutes of waiting time a very friendly and helpful young man was on the ground floor, who has shown us and explained in detail all details of the apartment (in English). There is a disadvantage that you cannot hide: we had the right apartment (which is to Piazza Repubblica) and unfortunately it passes directly over the apartment and a ventilation sheet that goes out day and night. Sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker. That was very noisy in the night of Sunday to Monday, probably because all air conditioning for offices in the other floors of the building was launched for Monday. So, the apartment is not suitable for someone with a light sleep and a rest need. As the situation in the other apartments (including 3 or 4) I cannot judge.
Il Salotto di Firenze

WE totally enjoyed our stay at Il Salotto. Allessandro made reservations for our dinners, looked up train schedules for us and answered all our questions. He even allowed us to enjoy a late checkout. We spent 11 nights here, and enjoyed everyone of them. Our room was large and overlooked Via Roma. Housekeeping was exceptional and the breakfast was fantastic! We have stayed in Florence numerous times, but this is where we will be staying all our future visits.
