Is a good hotel, at a very convenient location, near and short to Macalister street and gurney. Staff are super friendly and nice. Just one thing the room sound proof are not that good, can listen next door loud chatting or alarm sound. Overall still ok with the hotel

We are pleased with our stay at the Sunway Hotel as is a very nice, clean accomodations and with all the facilities needed. The staff are very good, especially the reception staff and security guard who are very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great and close to everything. Highly recommendable hotel.

**Travelodge Georgetown Review** I recently stayed at the Travelodge Georgetown and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was nice, clean, and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. However, the only downside I encountered was the limited parking availability. It was quite challenging to find a spot, especially during peak hours. Despite this, I would still recommend Travelodge Georgetown for its excellent room quality and overall service.

Strategic location to everywhere. The sound proofing is poor although the hotel has assigned me a higher floor, 19 floors to be exact. Luckily I have no trouble in sleeping/I am a good sleeper. I think it’s something unavoidable, given the location in the hustle and bustle of the city. As a first time user of trip.com, therefore I got some discount in paying for the total bill. The most I love is the water dispenser. I can get refilling easily and stay hydrated throughout the stay. Nice komtar view at night is a plus point.

The staff is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The hotel’s location is convenient and easy to access, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploration. The rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained, ensuring a truly enjoyable stay. We will definitely come back to stay again.

Not allowing us to check in early. Finally we got our room on 13/F, see view from room. Bathroom is narrow, a bit old, bathroom door knob is kinda broken, with basic amenities. Pillow is soft and room is clean. Old school hair dryer. Boring TV channels. House keeping is good, the young guy on our floor is sincere, polite and hard working. He helped to change the rusty/dirty kettle. Concierge service is good. Most of them are friendly and helpful. We were trying to go for the 1 for 1 happy hour (poster was inside the lift), we missed twice during our stay. When we asked Recep on our last night, we were told it is for club floor only? This Recep was kinda impatient when she replied, just coz we weren’t staying on that floor, ? didn’t take not of her name. Good location in Georgetown.

Room was spacious. Pillow was horrible which I slept without it. Bathroom was furnished with good bathroom accessories. Breakfast was decent with a good selection of carbs, dimsum, salad, pastries, egg service station and DIY noodle station. Some days there are staff who make fresh rotis upon order. Stayed here one night in family suites with 2 rooms with my 2 kids, the hotel is not far from Komtar penang. Parking is not an issue even for our MPV, their rotating car park with escalator can move the car into empty slot. Check-in is fast and we stayed at level 19th with nice city and some ocean view. Room is very big with a living room, master room with big washroom and changing cabinet, and another connecting room. Wifi is fast and there are 19 tv channels to choose from. Next morning we went for their gym at level 22, not very big but good enough with 5-6 workout machines. Breakfast is at level 21 buffet styles, choice is just nice, not many but food is ok with reasonable price, only RM21 per pax.

The location is fantastic, walking distance to most tourist attractions, great cafes, pubs n local food. The reception services staff were friendly n helpful. The room n breakfast spread are decent and definitely great value for money. Will stay there again when I come to Penang.
