建物内にある温泉は大浴場というレベル。
だいぶ歩くと露天風呂がある温泉に行けるが、遠すぎる。
朝食もビジネスホテルレベル。

一年に３回くらいが時之栖のイルミネーションに出かけていますが、今回は東京からの帰りに利用しました。東名高速が工事中で到着時間が遅れることも考えで夕食なしでチョコレート工房の金券とクーポンを頂きました。天気が良いので部屋から富士山が綺麗でした。夜はイルミネーションをゆっくり見てきました。帰りにチョコレートを買って帰りました。

敷地内にイルミネーションや水族館があり、馬や山羊もいて、小さい子連れでものんびり楽しめたし、お風呂も良かった。レストランや手作り工房(お土産屋さん？)も大満足だった。
一方、ベッドルームに大きなホコリの塊が落ちていたり、窓を開けようとしたら年季物のクモの巣が張っていたりした点は残念な気持ちになった。

東京に用事があって、車で行きました。帰りに高原ホテルに宿泊してきました。イルミネーションの季節には良いホテルだと思いますが、新緑の季節でどうかなと思いましたが、行って見るとホテルの周辺はイルミネーションがあり夜の散歩も楽しかったです。部屋は富士山が見える部屋で良かったです。夕食はかぐら寿で夕食を頂きました。ここからの景色も良かったです。朝食のレソトランからの景色も良くゆっくり食事ができました。

ちょうど雨が不足している時期で、下水が少し臭って気になったのが
他はとてもよかった
空調もよく部屋も広く
子供用にエクストラベッドも入れても、部屋はゆったり使えました。
子供連れでいつも和洋室をつかっていましたが、洋室もこんなに使い勝手がいいなら今度はこっちかな？と思っています。

予約が、本館ではなく、別館Brush、Upの方とは露知らず、あまりの違いに些か驚きました。屹度、本館御殿場高原ホテルであれば、もう少し異なった印象を受けたとは思います。温泉大浴場は泉質は良いものの露天もなく陳腐な構造。時代に取り残された構造、少なくとも温泉天国御殿場の名が泣くと思うレベル。称え、レベルの低い別館ホテルとは言え、今の時代、コスパ悪すぎと思わざるを得ません。しかし、もう無理だとは思います、改善は。以上。
