This was our second trip to this hidden gem of a place, which is nestled in beautiful countryside just outside of Lincoln. This time we stayed in the largest room, and boy was it worth it - it raised the whole experience from wonderful to exceptional. Same great service, lovely large breakfast, luxury furnishings, etc., but with the added bonus of space for dining and sitting areas and a private patio. All in all, a far better experience than staying in one of the hotel chains in the city.

I cant recommend Bridleway Bed and Breakfast highly enough. Jane couldn't have done any more to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were upgraded to The Garden Room which is a lovely space. The breakfast is also fantastic.

A relaxing and very enjoyable stay in Lincoln due to the excellent accommodation provided at Bridleway. The location is superb for accessing local attractions, not to mention the beautiful, tranquil setting. Jane was a wonderful host, providing a delicious breakfast of your choosing. Great choice too, using local produce. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean place to rest up for a few nights.

We had a wonderful stay. All the details made our room so beautiful. Jane is an amazing host, she provided us lots of useful information to enjoy our stay (including local restaurants, sightseeing options etc) - all loaded onto a tablet in your room (super handy!). The delicious breakfast was nicely served in our room every morning.

Bridleway B & B What a lovely find for a relaxing 2 night break. The Garden room was fabulous with the most comfy bed and pillows - slept extremely well ! We were welcomed by Jane as we arrived and she was most helpful offering to book a table at local restaurants and taxis for us. The B&B is a quick 10 minute drive into the amazing City of Lincoln. The bathroom was super with a walk in rain shower and very comfortable bath and all the bubbles and soap plus plus extra luxury bits like loofa and sponges ! Soft fluffy towels and robes were nice. The Garden room is beautifully furnished and Jane the Hosts artwork on walls. Fresh flowers made it very welcoming. On our arrival Jane had served a cream tea on our table placed homemade flapjack in a jar for our enjoyment ! Really lovely! Plus soft drinks in fridge and fresh fruit and crisps as well ! There were blankets for our use and a gel burner tin to toast marshmallows ! We sat on the patio and had wine and marshmallows ! The breakfast was superb - (local ) sausage and egg roll, pastries, toast & yogurt and muesli, and juice. (There is a nespresso coffee machine in room) We ordered our selection on the iPad which Jane had in our room and it was served to us on our private patio. The iPad also had all sorts of info from local restaurants to other useful stuff ! Jane really did put a lot of attention to detail which was very much appreciated. We will definitely be booking again and will recommend to our friends.

We stayed here for a long weekend in December. I'd had my eye on this place in 2019 but it was always booked up. We stayed in the garden room which is the biggest and well worth paying the extra for. The room itself was big, with an area for watching TV and one for eating, as well as a very big bed. The location is fairly good, just outside of Lincoln, although be warned if you want to get a taxi you should book in advance. We tried to call one on the Saturday am to go in to town and were told the earliest was 4pm by one company and 8pm by another. There is a bus luckily which goes every 2 hours. Due to covid breakfast service has changed to from the dining room to room service. You order the night before and then a hamper is delivered at the time you ask for in the morning. At first we were disappointed not to have the buffet and wider selection but we LOVED this and it was actually the highlight of the trip. On the first day I think we ordered everything which was far too much food. Everything was delicious. The porridge was the creamiest I've ever had - slow cooked on the Aga I understand. I've since bought a slow cooker to try and recreate this at home. I'd definitely recommend this place for a weekend break.

Lovely quiet accommodation with a super hostess! Went here for the Lincoln Chris**as fair and to explore Lincoln and area. Went to Grimsby for a visit and we were VERY impressed with the Fishing Heritage Centre…. At the end of the visit a retired trawler was there to swap stories! Would deffo come back to Lincoln to explore it more…. Stay at this lovely place and order the sumptuous breakfast, delivered to your room! Super place and hostess!!!
